Lydia did our engagement session before our wedding, she took the time to explain the various poses she wanted us to do. We had fun and walked away with beautiful photos. On our wedding day Lydia and her mom showed up early to capture undisturbed photos and truly captured our wedding day in a way I couldve never asked for. She went above and beyond in everything she did and kept us on track for the timeline we had set. She was so quick to get sneak peeks up and we had our wedding album in no time. I am beyond thankful for Captured by Lydia and the amazing talent Lydia has behind the camera. I could never truly thank her for the beautiful wedding photos we have to cherish forever!

es. For context, I hate taking pictures. But, Lydia has this way where she does not make you feel like you are posed and on the spot. She makes everything comfortable. For the wedding, we took ceremony pictures in Kalida, OH and reception in Lima, OH. Lydia is so organized and makes it so easy on you. She is experienced and is a wedding expert to say the least. We talked on the phone before the wedding, she gave me tips for the big day, and we went over pictures to be taken. She gave me a detailed schedule for the entire day. She mailed me a nice bag to put all my details like rings, invitations, and etc I wanted photographed. Then the big day arrives and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Lydia has this amazing ability to be easygoing, kind to everyone, but at the same time keeping people in order and she keeps the schedule scheduling. At the same time, she is capturing the big details and she is capturing the smallest of details. All the photos are beautiful. A few days after the wedding, she had so many pictures up and ready on her blog. Then 2 weeks later, she has the whole wedding ready. She is everything you want and need for any special moment you want to capture.

Our engagement pictures in April happened to fall on the only cold day of a 60 degree week and I still love EVERY SINGLE PHOTO. The day flew by, but we could thoroughly enjoy the day and soak in every moment knowing we were in excellent hands with Lydia and her mom and trusted they would capture all of the special moments! We couldn’t believe it when we received our full wedding album in just a few short days after our wedding and were stunned at how beautiful the images are! We will treasure these photos always! We’re looking forward to the chance to capture more wonderful memories at our big celebration next year with Lydia and her mom!
