About this vendor
Hi! I'm Katy, the owner and lead photographer of Captured Glory Photography in Minneapolis, MN! Thank you SO much for taking the time to check out our work and consider us in your search for a wedding photographer. We have had the tremendous honor of photographing over a hundred weddings over the past decade-plus in the wedding industry. It is our goal at Captured Glory Photography to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera so we can capture your love as authentically as possible and let your true personality shine! We strive to document the candid moments as they unfold and the unique details of your wedding day (along with the traditional shots, of course). Hence, you have timeless photos that allow you to relive your special day long after the festivities have wrapped up.
Captured Glory Photography is based in Minneapolis, MN, though we LOVE to travel - throughout the Midwest and beyond! Whether you're planning an intimate elopement, a small destination wedding, an extravagant wedding, or anything in between, we will do our best to make it an unforgettable day and capture the big and small moments!
We have several wedding packages - 6 hours (Package A), 9 hours (Package B), or a full day (up to 12 hours, Package C) of wedding day coverage. The two most popular packages (B and C) also include an engagement session and a second photographer for a part of your wedding day. All of our packages have equal rights to the edited images that you will receive in an online gallery (perfect for sharing with your loved ones) and a customized wedding box with a USB of the full-resolution edited images and sample prints.
We often get questions about customizing packages. You can add hour/s to whatever choice you select and have the option of adding an engagement session to any package that doesn't include one. Don't forget to ask about our Associate Wedding Packages!

rned out beautifully!! When it comes to the wedding all the photos and the experience could not have been more perfect! Katy took her time to get beautiful detail shots of the entire venue, my dress, table set ups, etc which were great to have. She made me, my husband, our families, and wedding party feel so comfortable and really made the picture taking fun (especially for those who aren’t the biggest fans of photos)! She has a great sense of humor and beautiful visions for photos. I am so happy we went with Captured Glory!
BOOK HER!!!! She is amazing! She is everywhere capturing photos yet, nowhere to be seen. She captures life happening…naturally.

ot along soooo great. She went through her process and was very clear and honest about how she works with each couple. After interviewing 10 or so photographers, we set up our engagement photos with her right away.
We had so much fun at our engagement shoot, she was funny, personable & really nailed down our vision.
She was on maternity leave while planning our wedding shoots, but she didn't miss a beat. She was super responsive, up to date on her timelines etc. She worked great with our wedding planner to nail down the timing of everything.
The day of she amazing, there is no other word to describe her. She brought a second photographer who was also just as dazzling as her. They took the most beautiful pictures! We are literally just in awe staring at them still.
We definitely will be working with Katy in all our future photo shoots!!! We can't say enough great things about her.

s is one of your most important days and this decision definitely has some weight!!
Katy was perfect...like I already miss her so much!! She has such a genuine heart and personality that wipes away any fear of "am I going to look good", or hows my hair and all the other feelings. She pays attention to all the details and ensures that you will get to revisit your day in the future and it'll be perfect. She's great with kids, kept us on schedule, and gave great directions on how to stand or move! I would highly recommend her! Thank you Katy so much! 💗

n tell why her company is named Captured Glory Photography; the way she puts the couple at ease and captures photos is glorious to watch. As a partner vendor, working alongside her was thoroughly enjoyable. She was kind and accommodating of me to make sure we got the shots needed for the livestream. I haven't seen how her photos turned out, but I have no doubt they're fabulous.
On behalf of We Livestream Weddings, I highly recommend Katy to photograph your wedding. What are you waiting for? Reach out!

c after having to postpone our wedding reception, and she always goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are happy. Our families loved Katy as well, as she makes people feel so comfortable while being photographed! I would 100% recommend Katy to anyone. rtable in front of the camera, and she so beautifully captured the love and joy my husband and I felt throughout our whole wedding day. Katy is so creative, fun, and personable - all things we were looking for in hiring a wedding photographer. Our pictures are STUNNING - we have gotten so many compliments on our photos! My husband and I highly recommend Katy!

el the emotions from the day and the personality of every single person in the photo.
My experience working with Katy was nothing short of amazing. HIGH QUALITY WORK and AMAZING PERSON. She was incredibly responsive and very organized. I really enjoyed planning my wedding and she was fun to bounce various ideas off of. Basically if you are up for adventure - she is too! On the day of she got us all laughing and I always felt natural when posing. Some of my favorite shots are the candids - she has quite an eye for them! Every single person that got the opportunity to interact with her throughout the day had nothing but positive things to say about her. Your photographer is with you all day and I felt as though we had been friends for years.
Of note, her second shooter and assistant were incredibly supportive and very kind. The second shooter got a couple of really great alternative angles/perspectives. The assistant did a great job managing everyone and providing support so we got all of the photos we wanted.
I am OVER THE MOON with every aspect of our experience working with Katy of Captured Glory Photography. Definitely would recommend!
