We booked with Casey for our engagement photos and wedding and we’re so happy we did! Casey was so fun to work with, did a great job posing us (which we needed), and is a darn good photographer. She got our engagement photos back to us in 12 hours! You can’t beat that! We’re so excited for her to shoot our wedding next summer.

Hey there! I’m Casey, the face (and lens) behind Captured x Casey. I’m a Springfield, Missouri–based wedding photographer with a heart for real love, real laughs, and all those perfect moments that make your day yours.
After 17 years of teaching in public schools, I’ve learned a thing or two about people — like how to make anyone feel comfortable, how to find joy in the chaos, and how to stay calm and pivot when the schedule takes an unexpected turn. I bring that same patience, humor, and heart into every wedding I photograph.
My style? Think romantic and authentic. I’m not about stiff poses or forced smiles. I want your photos to feel like you. The way your partner looks at you when you’re not paying attention, your grandma’s happy tears, your best friend absolutely tearing it up on the dance floor, those are the moments that tell your love story.
