Cara is amazing! She was the easiest vendor to work with and she captured what we were thinking. We did not want to have flowers on our invitations and she tried sending us different backgrounds and in the end we chose a blank background and it looked great. She also did our place cards, seating chart and table names which turned out amazing. The color scheme was spot on to our wedding colors. Cara can capture what you're thinking as long as you tell her what you like and don't like. She's super understanding and is focused on what you want and will send you proofs before she prints. Book her! She will not disappoint!

Working with Cara was an absolute pleasure. She was extremely helpful, had great ideas and recommendations. She did an amazing job on both our Save the Dates and Wedding Invites. Always responded to my questions right away and kept me up to date of where in the process we were. We had English and Spanish invites, which of course presented some obstacles, due to accents but, Cara worked her magic to deliver exactly what we asked for. I will be returning to her for future events.

I can not say enough positive things about my experience with Cara at Sleepy Hedghog Press. She helped me create 2 invitations (1 for our small wedding and a second for a larger reception). I highly recommend Cara from Sleep Hedgehog press. I can't tell you how many compliments I got on my invitations. Cara is priced fairly and easy to work with, and her work is that of a true professional. This is something people contemplate delegating. This was an amazing service. Our wedding was in France and we had some problems getting the invites to France - In 48 hours the new invites were printed and sent to FRANCE. Then we were able to get them out in the mail in time. The team at Hedge is amazing and I really would not recommend any other company for your invites.

We already had an awesome invitation created by them, but when it came time to setup the place cards we were clueless. We didn't know if we should do them ourselves or have them do it. The week OF THE WEDDING we went back for a major favor and they were able to churn out over 200 place cards with table banners for us in a matter of days! They turned out amazing as my fiancée and I expected but the strings they pulled, extra hours worked and the quality craftsmanship that resulted were really appreciated! This review is the least we could do to recommend this great invitation place to everyone we know!

Cara is wonderful to work with -- she's attentive, responsive and has an amazing aesthetic style. She completed our wedding invites right on schedule and virtually held my hand through the whole experience (i.e. answering my questions on etiquette and providing examples to help me feel confident in my choices). She payed very close attention to the "look-and-feel" we were going for and delivered exactly what we wanted. She is definitely among the "top 5" best wedding vendors I've worked with so far :)

Sleepy Hedgehog Press is absolutely amazing! I truly enjoyed working with Cara when designing and making my wedding invitations. She was so fun, easy to work with, and very responsive and professional throughout the whole process and had so many good ideas too! She really does a great job working with the bride and grooms budget and timeline to make great work. What's even better is how much she cares about her client's happiness and satisfaction. As an example, she called me early one morning and said that she was up all night thinking about one of the color choices of the paper we had made the day before and that something just "wasn't right". I can not write enough about how wonderful Cara was to work with and how happy I was with our invitations and other items. I wanted daffodils on my wedding invitations. Not only did Cara design the most beautiful invitations I had my daffodils. Also, on a side note I came to her with a very short deadline and she was not only willing to do my invitation she did more. I saw Cara's portfolio and found the perfect save the date and wedding invitation to fit with my wedding theme. I live in Texas and Cara is in Califorinia, so I was a bit hesitant to use her. But, she has always been quick to respond to my emails and the distance has not at all been an issue. I recieved my save the dates and she did a great job. I can't wait to see the wedding invitations!

We were looking for well-designed, elegant, and well made invitations. I have a strong interest in print design and in typography and I was not willing to accept a boring design or sloppy work. We found Sleepy Hedgehog Press on The Knot and as soon as we looked through the photos, we knew right away that we had found what we were looking for. The custom designs are wonderful. We contacted Cara through her website on a Friday evening and she responded to us on Sunday. When we met, her samples were exactly as they appeared on the website. Cara listened to what we wanted and helped us to narrow some choices right away. Throughout that meeting and later in our communications, she presented thoughtful ideas and took our suggestions. She was a dream to work with. I could not be happier with the resulting invitations. She kept us informed about schedules and her cost estimates were correct. I would definitely use Sleepy Hedgehog Press in the future!

Cara at Sleepy Hedgehog Press has been so incredibly helpful in helping me understand all the different types of paper and sizes when it comes to wedding stationary. I came to her with a specific design I wanted for my Save the Dates, and she gave me the perfect font that I didn't have. She has gone the extra mile and picked up a preview for me to see before we made 200 copies to send out to my guests. Cara is quick to respond to emails and so knowledgeable about everything stationary related. The estimates she has given me are almost HALF of what other vendors quoted me. I believe I am getting a better deal with Cara as she is allowing me to design exactly what I want, with no limit to colors or fonts like most other stationary vendors that I've contacted. I definitely hit the jackpot with Sleepy Hedgehog Press and I am looking forward to seeing all my other wedding related stationary materials that Cara will create!

Working with Cara of Sleepy Hedgehog Press has been an absolute dream. I used her for the invitations, programs and all paper signs used at the wedding. My invitations were absolutely gorgeous! Everyone said they were the prettiest invitations that they have ever seen. Every meeting with Cara was fantastic, she knows how to take every idea you throw at her and make it a masterpiece. Her was great at communicating via e-mail is very prompt and she is great at responding to any feedback and implementing it. No matter how elaborate or simple the ideas you have she can make it fabulous and a dream come true. Everything she did for me was absolutely perfect, any big parties I throw in the future I will use her for any big event.

My (now) husband and I were shopping around for vendors to help us with our save-the-date and wedding invites. We found Cara on the knot and decided to give her a call. BEST decision we've made. Cara was super friendly and cordial. My husband and I don't necessarily see eye to eye on certain designs, but Cara was able to help us meet in the middle. We were able to pick out/create something simple/elegant yet playful. Our budget for this was fairly limited, but Cara gave us advice on where we can save but still have that creative touch--- making our vision come to life. Cara was very flexible in working with our hours of availability and making sure we had everything in a timely manner. She responded to emails quick and (it seemed like) she worked around the clock to make sure we were satisfied with the product. We had a bilingual wedding, so Cara sent us tons of proofs to make sure the verbiage was correct before it went to printing. If I had to plan another wedding or big event, I would not hesitate to go to Cara. She makes the whole planning process that much more fun and do-able!

Cara designed our wedding invitations for us. They turned out really beautiful and working with Cara was a pleasant experience. She is creative, responsive and a nice person too! Very easy to work with. Cara patiently listened to our long list of preferences and came up with several design options for us to choose from. Once we decided on the basics, we went through more than a dozen edits of color, motifs, fonts and layouts, all via email. Cara prepared each draft within minutes so that we could see what the changes looked like. This was amazing because I've worked with another designer for a different event and apart from the difficult process, I was charged for every edit I made! Cara worked on a tight schedule and delivered a day ahead of time. She was very accommodating and met with us after office hours and on weekends when it was most convenient for us. I highly recommend Cara for custom, beautiful, unique invitations.

Cara helped us create our dream invitations. They are the most amazing invites I've ever seen and I still can't believe they're ours! Overall i'd say working with Cara has been the easiest thing we've done in the wedding planning process. She's that good. Cara did an amazing job on ALL, and I mean ALL of our wedding paper things. Not only were the invitations fabulous and exactly what I wanted, but she did the bridal shower invitation, place cards, programs, specialty drink signage,etc. She is so artistic and talented and really listens to what you want. I found Cara at Sleepy Hedgehog Press on a Yelp search when we were looking for someone to custom design our save the dates, wedding invitations, escort cards, thank yous, programs, etc. I saw Cara had great reviews and was also located just down the street from me. I immediately called Cara and set up a time to meet. My mom was in town so we went to meet Cara and immediately fell in love with her! She is an amazing person and is an extremely talented designer. Upon our first meeting, we confirmed the colors we would use and also brainstormed some ideas for the save the dates and invitations. We had a fall wedding and our colors were burnt orange, bronze, champagne, and a touch of mossy green. Over the next few months I worked with Cara via email to keep moving along. I work best via email and we were both quick to respond so that mode of communication worked great for us. For our save the dates, we used one of our engagement pictures and also a print of an oil painting my family had commissioned for us for our wedding gift. Cara loved the idea and ran with it. Our save the dates were fabulous and the painting was also tied into our thank you cards. The save the date set the standard for our expectations and Car a keep exceeding them! For our invitations, Cara worked with me endlessly to find the right design, layout, font, etc. She put a lot o time and effort into making the invitations perfect! We had some unique and fun wording on our wedding invitations and Cara neatly tied that into our drink menu. It was so creative and everyone loved it. My husband and I received wonderful comments as to how lovely our invitations were and how all the wedding stationery items tied into our theme and colors. Cara was very mindful of our budget and worked with us to make the price right. The price quoted for each aspect of the wedding stationery was the price she charged….despite all the extra hours input into the project with research, emailing, draft designs, etc. Cara was always on-time or early with her delivery and highly reliable. The quality and love that Cara puts into her work is amazing! There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do! Through our time working together, we have even developed a friendship, which I can’t say happens too often with your vendors. I look forward to working with Cara more in the future as we start a family and need to get out those birth announcements!

I've had such an amazing and professional service from Cara. She made our wedding invitations, escort cards, and table numbers that both my husband and I absolutely love and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. She was absolutely patient and understanding with our nit-picky requests and she was extremely prompt with responses. Cara's work is great! She is professional, easygoing, and reliable in our interactions with her. All of our invitees loved our invitations, some of them even wanted to keep the reply postcards. Our theme was dark purple+burnt orange whimsical fall wedding, and Cara just executed our vision so nicely in the products. We are using SHP for our other stationery too, like programs, escort cards, and reception signs. I cannot wait to see all of it come together at our event.

I met with Cara about a year before the wedding and showed her my Save the Dates. I wanted to have the same compass look that I had created on my invites (which eventually became my wedding theme, compass: "Love lead me to you" - cheesy huh?!?!). She worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect for me. She even had an issue with the color but figured it out and everything turned out absolutely perfect!!! The price was a lot more than I originally anticipated, but so worth it! We got so many compliments on our invites and even Cara asked to use my invites as samples for future clients.
