Hi There, I'm Cara, a wedding and elopement photographer based in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I specialize in intimate wedding celebrations with an emphasis on deep human connection, real moments, and creating stunning photos that you can feel. My style is a perfect blend of documentary and editorial photography, with a relaxed approach. Your wedding day is so much more than a pretty photo, it's a momentous day that celebrates your unique relationship that you've built over the years. I'll capture your day just as it unfolds and promise to deliver gorgeous portraits as well as photos of all the moments in between. I'll pose you just enough to make you feel super comfortable and confident, while still leaving space for you to create real moments together on your day, because that's where the magic happens! At the end of the day your wedding is just the beginning of the rest of your lives together, so I hope that after our time spent together you are left feeling even more in love with each other, with photos that inspire the deepening of your relationship over the many years of marriage together. I'm honored to photograph wedding / elopement days and I also offer engagement sessions, anniversary sessions, and portrait sessions as you continue to grow your lives together. I'm honored to get to know all my clients and create images they'll love for a lifetime, while also creating a personalized experience from beginning to end to help make the process easy, fun, and personalized to you! Wedding collections include 8-10 hours of day of coverage, a complimentary engagement session, in-depth planning assistance, a second photographer to capture even more memories, a custom timeline, an online gallery and a USB of your images. Leading up to the wedding, Cara provided her expertise to ensure our timeline would accommodate all of the photos we wanted. We were never comfortable in front of the camera but by the end of the process it felt natural and we knew Cara would capture the moments we would look back on for the rest of our lives. Something we really took note is how much attention to detail Cara had, she made the effort to steal us away at certain times of our wedding to take advantage of the time of day/lighting that would give us beautiful moments. we had our engagement photo shoot. My husband and I were both a little nervous because taking intimate pictures together is not something we are used to doing- but Cara made us feel SO comfortable and we ended up having so much fun. We couldn't stop talking about how much fun we had and little did we know we would get the BEST pictures out of it! Fast forward to our wedding and we had no doubt in our minds that Cara would absolutely nail the job and she did. Cara got along incredibly well with our families, wedding party and other vendors. She is calm, smart, takes charge when she needs to, and so much more. We ended up being way behind on time due to our wedding ceremony going way overtime and Cara handled it so well. I was nervous because of the little amount of time we had to take pictures before cocktail hour started, but the pictures ended up amazing. Cara is super organized and created a timeline for us to make sure we had every photo we wanted. During the reception, Cara was quietly on the sidelines capturing the best pictures and even stayed late to capture our sparkler send off. Fast forward to getting our sneak peeks (which we received SO quickly)- we were absolutely blown away with the results. We received our entire wedding pictures less than two months after our wedding- all edited to perfection. We were just blown away by how amazing our pictures turned out. The pictures brought my husband, myself and both of our families to tears. We had so much fun working with Cara and would highly recommend her to any bride/groom getting married. With both the engagement session and wedding, she delivered sneak peaks (and a lot of them) very quickly. The full photo galleries were also very timely, and her gallery is so easy to use and share. She captured so many photos- not one shot was missed.
Finallyā¦ Caraās photos are incredible! I canāt gush enough about them. Her composition and editing style are consistent and cohesive, and the colors are simply stunning. ted. I had no idea what I was doing when planning my wedding and she became my little wedding planner. You can tell how happy she is to help and very knowledgeable about weddings which is another benefit.
When you hire Cara, plan on becoming her friend. She will meet with you at any local coffee shop to chat about your wedding day. She collects all the details, even all the names of the family and friends who are closest to you, so that she is prepared for a smooth and seamless day. The bride doesn't have to worry about a thing. My husband and I had a small, nontraditional wedding in February and she was very accommodating to our weird plans. Cara also stays in contact with the venue and is prepared for any weather.
Aside from weddings, she is amazing at any other session that you hire her for- newborn, couples, engagement. Cara makes the sessions fun and comfortable. No need to worry about positioning or how to smile the right way. She directs you the whole time and it's so easy to follow. However, she is totally open to you enjoying your time in front of the camera and flowing through the moves yourselves because those photos come out beautiful. Cara is perfect at capturing the right lighting from the sun, too. Her editing style is stunning and bright.
Cara's professionalism really shows. She's very quick to answering your emails, Instagram messages, and texts. She will send you your photos on an online gallery format where you can download and order prints. Looking at my gallery was like reliving my wedding day.
Hire Cara. You will not regret it. She is well worth the money. And if you are planning to elope or travel, she would love to join!
