vested in understanding our vision and making us feel comfortable. One of the things that stood out most was the amount of planning and preparation that happened long before either our engagement session or wedding day. Cara’s team took the time to ask incredibly thoughtful questions about our relationship, our personalities, what mattered most to us, and how we wanted our photos to feel. It never felt like they were simply checking boxes, they were intentionally getting to know us so they could tell our story authentically. That level of care and preparation gave us a tremendous amount of confidence and made us feel truly seen throughout the process. My husband and I are both naturally introverted and have never been people who feel particularly comfortable in front of a camera. Going into our engagement session, we were honestly a little nervous about being photographed and worried that we might come across as awkward or stiff. Our photographer immediately put us at ease. She had an incredible ability to guide us naturally without making anything feel forced, and somehow transformed us from two people who were self-conscious in front of a lens into the main characters we needed to be for some of the most important moments of our lives. What we loved most was how effortless the experience felt. We never felt overly posed or pressured, and yet the results were beyond anything we could have imagined. The aesthetic of our engagement photos perfectly captured the mood, style, and emotion we were hoping for. When we received the gallery, we were genuinely blown away. Not only were the images beautiful, but they felt like us, which is ultimately the greatest compliment we could give. On the wedding day, that same sense of trust carried through. Because of all the preparation that happened beforehand, everything felt seamless. We never worried about the photography because we knew the team had a plan and understood exactly what was important to us. That allowed us to stay present and fully enjoy the day while trusting that every meaningful moment was being documented. If there was a problem that Cara’s team solved for us, it was helping us overcome our discomfort in front of the camera. That may sound small, but for two introverts, it was huge. Instead of feeling like we had to perform, we felt like ourselves, and that confidence came through because of the environment the team created. The photos will be something we treasure for the rest of our lives.

s enough how grateful my husband and I were with the whole planning process that Cara helped put together for us. From introduction and planning chats, the questionnaires, the wedding guidebook, and overall kind and sweet nature she shares, I felt confident putting our day in her (and Katherine's) hands. Cara, you have truly been the best photographer and person! We are so grateful and thankful that there was availability because we feel blessed and cannot wait to see our photographs!

cared for. They truly became such a calming, supportive presence throughout the entire experience. One thing I appreciated most was how intentional and detail-oriented they were. They cared deeply about the meaningful pieces of our day and made sure those intimate details were documented beautifully — the heirloom jewelry, handwritten notes, sentimental keepsakes, family touches, and all the little things that mattered so much to us. It never felt rushed or transactional; it felt like they genuinely cared about telling our story authentically. They also helped tremendously with keeping the day flowing smoothly and reducing stress. There are so many moving pieces on a wedding day, and the team had such a calming confidence that made everything feel manageable. They guided us naturally, kept us present in the moment, and knew when to step in and when to let moments unfold organically. What I loved most was the team's ability to make us feel comfortable while still capturing the elegance and emotion of the day. They created an environment where we could truly be ourselves, and that made such a difference in how natural and meaningful the experience felt. The attention to detail, communication, organization, warmth, and genuine passion for their couples truly sets them apart. We felt so cared for every step of the way. - Jordyn and Matthew

every step of the way. She came with so much helpful information, from how to feel comfortable in front of the camera to focusing on the meaningful moments of the day, along with vendor recommendations and so much more. She supported us in so many areas that were not even technically her responsibility. It meant a lot to meet her early on and do an engagement shoot, which helped us get comfortable with each other and build that trust ahead of the wedding day. She also played a huge role in helping us shape our timeline and understand how to plan the day in a way that felt organized and intentional. We really appreciated sitting down together to go over details and expectations so we knew we would get the photos that mattered most to us. One of the things we loved most was her approach to photography. She emphasized being present and not forcing moments, which made everything feel natural and authentic. She has such a calming presence, and that made a huge difference, especially on a day with so many emotions. Even when it rained on our wedding day, she was incredibly prepared. She had already suggested we get clear umbrellas earlier in the week, was flexible with locations at the venue, and even stayed out in the rain with us to capture those special moments. It meant so much to us. We truly cannot recommend her enough. She also sent us teaser photos so quickly, which was amazing because we were so excited to relive the day.
