CaraMel's Bakery, based in Clearwater, FL, offers wedding cakes, custom cakes and more. Originally from Italy, owner Melian De Carolis is passionate about producing high-quality pastries. She enjoys working closely with you to design the wedding cake of your dreams. Melian’s passion for food started in Italy where she learned how to cook tasty meals from her grandmother. After moving to England, she began to work in a variety of restaurants learning how to cook foods from different cultures. With a desire for new opportunities, she then moved to America to become a Pastry Chef and a personal chef. Melian also worked at a nutritional company for several years where she gained more knowledge about various diets and health. Throughout her experience in producing pastries and personalized meal plans for clients, she developed a talent for accommodating a variety of dietary needs and preferences. Now, this dedicated chef is delighted to create both traditional and diet-friendly cakes for celebrations of love. Each wedding cake is made from scratch. CaraMel's Bakery offers free cake tastings consultations so that they can understand your vision for your dessert. Whether you desire a cake topped with fondant or classic buttercream frosting, these professionals are committed to leaving a lasting impression.

Melian made me a beautiful cake that tasted so good. I had a destination wedding and was unable to do a taste test. I took a chance and I am so glad that I did. That cake was delicious and my guests loved it.

The lemon wedding cake was incredible! It was rich and moist and super flavorful, not at all like so many bland wedding cakes. Colors of Food Used real lemon and lemon zest to make this cake and the result spoke for itself.

l wedding cake flavor. It was sweet but not too sweet. The cake was dense but light at the same time if that makes any sense. And the frosting was just so thick and creamy. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The cake itself before it was cut into was also beautiful.

Not only are the cakes gorgeous but they taste amazing! I highly recommend the lemon flavored cake! My experience with The Colors of Food was smooth and they are very easy to work with! Lots of options! I highly recommend them!

Hello, I go by Mel, I am Italian and ended up traveling a lot giving me the opportunity to learn many food cultures. I moved to America because I had heard of a cooking position available where they also offer training and certification. So, I headed to the US where I became a Pastry Chef.
