I had the most AMAZING experience at Carbon Salon. I knew I would be staying at the Kimpton Nine Zero for the weekend of my wedding, and was looking for a salon nearby that would be able to do both hair and makeup. I didn't see a ton of reviews online, but decided to take a chance and book a trial at Carbon Salon. That is when I met with Xiomara and had the best experience! She is an incredibly talented makeup artist and hair stylist, and she patiently listened to all of my preferences throughout the entire process. The cost of everything was also incredibly reasonable, especially compared to other salons nearby! I was right to take the chance. Lastly, on the day of my wedding, I can't say enough about how wonderful everyone at Carbon was. It was supposed to me alone, but my mother and mother-in-law came with me last minute. Everyone at Carbon was so accommodating, they offered us tea and coffee, and even fit them in for haircuts and blowouts! We all left feeling like rockstars. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and you can bet I will be back for any hair or makeup services I might need in the future!

Lindsey Grenier is an extremely talented hair stylist and true pleasure to work with! I didn’t have a hair stylist I loved in the Boston area, and I was feeling frustrated after a disappointing hair trial with someone else. I found Lindsey via a personal recommendation, and as soon as I sat down with her I knew I was in good hands. Lindsey thoughtful listened to me during my trial, and helped me analyze a few different photos I showed her from Pinterest to help me figure out exactly what I was looking for in a wedding hair style. She spent over an hour with me trying out different options until we knew we had a look I loved. Lindsey was very organized and helped me work out all the logistics for the big deal. On my wedding day, she did hair for me, two mothers, my maid of honor, and three other friends. The results were stunning! Plus, she was super fun to spend 5 hours with and helped keep me relaxed. She was well ahead of schedule all morning. She even styled an additional friend’s hair as a courtesy while we were waiting for my last to show up! I will be going back to Lindsey for all my hair needs. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
