We absolutely love working with these two! They have captured so many special moments for us, from our engagement pictures to our wedding photos and even our baby announcement pictures. Every experience has been amazing, and we couldn’t be happier with how our photos have turned out! They are both so nice, sweet, and easy to work with, which makes the whole process comfortable and fun. We also love how many candid pictures they capture because those are some of the most genuine and special moments to look back on! On top of that, they get your pictures back to you so fast, which is always a huge plus! We are so thankful to have them capture such important moments in our lives and couldn’t recommend them enough to anyone looking for a photographer!

At Cardenas Captures, we're Dakota and Jadrian, a husband-and-wife photography team based in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. We photograph weddings throughout Southern Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and beyond, capturing the moments that make each wedding unique.
Our approach is a mix of natural moments, genuine emotion, and the little details that make your day yours. We want you to enjoy your wedding day without feeling like you're constantly being posed or pulled away from your guests. From the excitement of getting ready to the moments you share with your favorite people on the dance floor, we're there to capture it all as it happens.
Our background in rodeo, equine, and event photography has taught us to think on our feet, anticipate moments, and capture things as they unfold. We bring that same approach to weddings, giving couples a collection of photos that tells the story of their day from beginning to end.

We’re a husband and wife photography team based in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, with a passion for capturing the stories, people, and moments that matter most.
From the arena to the aisle, our photography takes us everywhere. We photograph PRCA rodeos, western events, weddings, equine sessions, portraits, and commercial work for clients throughout Wisconsin, across the United States, and beyond.
Our journey started with a love for photography and the western lifestyle. Over the years, that passion has grown into a business built around capturing authentic moments, whether it’s the split-second action of a rodeo, the emotions of a wedding day, or the personality behind a brand.
When we’re not behind the camera, you’ll usually find us riding horses, traveling, or spending time with our dogs Harley, Aspen, and Cleo, along with our cats Melvin and Chai.
