Cardiff Limousine & Transportation of Palm Springs

When you think of Palm Springs, what is the first thing that comes to mind? THE WARM WEATHER! We got married May 4, 2013 and we knew that we would need to have proper transportation to keep us and our bridal party cool going from our hotel to our wedding venue. Cardiff was on our wedding event coordinator's preferred vendor list and after our experience with the company, have been removed due to their unreliable limo bus. We were picked up from our hotel to take us to our wedding venue, all dressed and ready in a HOT limo bus. We were informed (after our complaint with the company) of Idling Law where a vehicle that large cannot sit with the a/c on. We now understand that it would taken some time to cool down the bus, however the air pumping through the vents was HOT the entire time of our ride, both with the ladies and the guys (we had 2 trips). Both parties mentioned this to the driver several times and he kept brushing it off. It felt like it was just a vent with outside air blowing in. There is no way the a/c was turned on, and if it was, it was obviously not working. If it was working, we would have felt cool air coming out of the vents. Both parties were putting their hands at the vents to check the air and their was no hint of coolness coming out. The bus did not have to shut off between dropping the girls and picking up the guys. We were outside waiting for him, so if the a/c had been turned on or was working, it should have been cool in there or at least blowing cold air, and it was not. There is no excuse for air pumping out too hot or for the rudeness of our driver. He didn't even offer to pull down the shades to help cool the bus. The ladies had to ask if it was ok. With the tip already included, my husband and I both felt that he could care less about the level of service he provided and if we were uncomfortable. All of the girls sweat through their dresses so that there were visible marks on their dresses and the make up that the paid to have done also was sweat off. We were offered a partial refund, which was much appreciated, but does not make up for the huge inconvenience wedding day and we felt that others need to know about the service we received through Cardiff. Consumer beware! The only reason we gave more than 1 star was because of the service we received with our standard limo that we had in the morning. Everything worked properly and our driver, Buddy, was GREAT! If we could do separate reviews he would get 5 stars. Jill the customer service rep there was also very nice and tried to help us out as much as she could. To sum it up: we would only recommend the standard limo and Buddy as a driver. **Do NOT use their limo bus!!**
