Cariad Photography did such an amazing job with our wedding. My husband and I met Steffi Smith at Chota Falls when we were planning our wedding. She instantly asked us if we would be willing to look through her portfolio and use her for our wedding. All of the photos were amazing and unique. Steffi photographs many weddings at the wedding venue we chose and knew all the special places to go take pictures. We first did an engagement session with her at a beautiful lake. She made us feel so comfortable and I almost forgot she was even taking pictures of us. She and her husband Steve love to make it fun for their clients. They climbed through the river with us to take awesome photos for our engagement session. Our family friends bought some of our engagement photos from Cariad photography on canvases and they turned out awesome. Our wedding photos turned out beautiful. Steffi makes sure to get a good mix of candid pictures of the event and plenty of posed family pictures for albums. She and her husband Steve, truly make the entire day about the bride and groom and capture every moment of that. They even stayed later for my wedding just to get amazing pictures of our sparkler exit and fire pit. They stayed and hung out with our families after the wedding and it was so great to get to know them. They even gave us an amazing gift that my husband and I will cherish forever. I can't say enough good things about Cariad Photography and I am so lucky to have had them photograph my wedding!

Our wedding was on May 21, 2016, and it was everything my husband and I could have dreamed. It was perfect, a true fairytale. We had every intention of writing a rave review for Cariad Photography until recently. Our pictures were beautiful and amazing; we truly felt it was worth every penny. But a day that was perfect is now tainted by a horribly rude and unprofessional comment that was made by Steffi Smith, the owner and photographer of Cariad Photography. A picture of me, along with a comment about being “heavy set,” was posted in a group of more than 27,000 people to see and review. This was a picture that I thought was beautiful but now all I can see is how I was thought of as “heavy set.” The post was revealed to us by a group member who asked to remain anonymous. This individual was appalled at the lack of professionalism by our photographer and felt that it needed to be brought to our attention. This review is meant for other soon to be brides to be made aware that while you may pay for great pictures, it comes at a price; the possibility that your picture, too, could end up on social media along with humiliating comments to ruin a day that was supposed to make you feel like a princess.

We had our wedding photographed by Steffi and Steve from Cariad Photography, and we couldn't be happier with that decision. From the moment we met Steffi and saw her work, we knew we wanted her to be our photographer! She did such an amazing job. She captured all my favorite moments and memories from the wedding, and was able to get moments that I didn't even know I wanted! Her pictures are amazing and we can't wait to see them printed off and hanging on the walls of our home!

Steffi and Steve at Cariad Photography were absolutely a dream team. They were so much fun to work with and really allowed us to just be ourselves and relax. I am still in disbelief at how gorgeous their photos were. They perfectly captured the excitement, laughter, joy, and beauty of our day in a way I never imagined possible. I cannot say enough great things about Cariad!! From the moment my mom & I met Steffi, I knew I had found our photographer. She is so sweet & genuine. Laura was the one who shot our engagement session and wedding. Laura is incredible & to say that I have camera tension is an understatement! Cariad Photography did an amazing job on our daughter's engagement and wedding pictures. Within hours of the engagement session and the wedding, there were photos being posted for us to see. The photographers came before scheduled and stayed throughout the entire evening. Two photographers shot pictures the entire night. We have hundreds and hundreds of pictures. All of them are great-both posed and candid. We could not be more pleased with our choice of photographer. The best money that we spent besides the venue. Very professional and they did everything just as promised. We would use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

We got married in April 2014 at Chota Falls in Clayton, GA. With our wedding package there, we were lucky enough to have Cariad Photography as our photography vendor. Steffi and Steve are absolutely amazing! They are so professional and on time with everything. They would always get back to us immediately about any questions we had and kept us in the loop through the entire process. They kept our entire wedding day on schedule and gave us the most beautiful wedding pictures I could have dreamed of. They were such a pleasure to work with and were so friendly. I just received my photo album from them as well and it is absolutely gorgeous. I would definitely suggest Cariad Photography and will definitely be using them in the future for other photography needs.

I am so grateful that Carriad Photography photographed my wedding. From the moment I met Steffi, I knew that I didn’t have to worry about a thing with my wedding pictures—her portfolios are full of gorgeous photographs that highlight the beauty of her clients’ special days. She gave precise directions while photographing my wedding, which made posing easy and natural. The placement of people in the surrounding environment in my photos is spectacular. Not only did Steffi and Steve take the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen, but they even stayed at my wedding well after I had expected them to leave in order to capture my wedding’s bon fire, an event that followed my reception. As a "semi-involved" groom I quickly learned the importance of engagement and wedding photos... to be cherished for a lifetime. My VERY involved wife searched, browsed and reviewed possibly every wedding photography site for the Atlanta area. A vendor wish list was created and Cariad was near the top. I will save you the agony of a continued search and HIGHLY recommend working with the ladies of Cariad. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Laura as our photographer and we could not be more pleased. Her patience, personality and vision resulted in some amazing photographs. Through open communication, all expectations were established from the beginning and exceeded in the end. We found this team to be very responsive, flexible and absolutely true professionals. I can't thank Steffi and Laura enough for the amazing photos of my beautiful bride on our very special day.

Steffi and Steve were great to work with. They were on top of getting all the pictures we wanted and made sure they came out great. They kept everyone in line, were very professional and fun to work with.

Steffi and her husband Steve shot our wedding at Chota Falls in October 2013. We decided to stray from the normal waterfall wedding and got married in a field in front of the chapel. This was the first time that Chota had held a wedding in that location and Steffi was very flexible about the new location. Steffi and Steve are very friendly and fun to shoot with. It was like having someone we knew shooting our wedding. I did get the sense that they have set places on the property that they always shoot because they work with Chota so often (and live right next door), but this didn't take away any of the beauty of the photos. If anything, it probably made them better because they know the sites so well. They also gave the grooms party great restaurant recommendations, which kept them busy and satisfied while the bridal party got ready. Overall, we were very pleased with Cariad and have recommended them for our sister's upcoming wedding.

Steffi and her husband were absolutely wonderful. They treated us like family and gave us gorgeous pictures of our big day! We had every confidence that they would do a good job for us and we were not disappointed. They are gracious and loving as well as being extremely talented photographers.

As the mother of the bride,to me, photos were one of the most important parts of the wedding. I got everything I dreamed of. Their attention to detail and the way they captured the true personalty of the entire wedding party was incredible. I can look at the photos now and remember each step of the way. I honestly can't say enough great things about Steffi. To begin, the service was exceptional. We hired her because our venue recommended her, so she and her husband (Steve) shot our engagement and wedding pictures. I never had an issue contacting her and she always responds in a very timely manner. She began uploading engagement and wedding pictures on Facebook within days of our sessions, which truly showed how much she cares about her clients. She came to my wedding planning session to discuss the photography for the wedding day, which we did not expect. Now for the quality. Our pictures are breathtaking. Definitely buy the package with the book she makes...leather cover, comes in an embroidered box, hard pages. Looking through this book at out wedding pictures honestly looks like I am flipping through a fairy tale. She has a way of photographing that creates romance. I feel like I'm living my wedding day all over again when I look at the pictures.. she captured every feeling I had that day. I could go on all day... We were married August 24, 2013 and Steffi with Cariad Photography exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding. We were extremely pleased with our engagement photos also, which made the decision for Cariad even easier. When searching for a photographer for our wedding we wanted the best, and after viewing Cariad Photography's work, and meeting with them we knew we had made the right decision and found the best in the business. Cariad Photography was the smartest decision we made for the entire wedding. My husband and I live in the Cayman Island's and decided that we wanted to get married near one of our favorite places in the Georgia Mountains close to our family and friends in Atlanta. Having to decide on a wedding photographer was a bit overwhelming for me. However, my fiance made the statement that the pictures would be the one thing that we would always have to cherish our day. So, if we wanted something memorable, we needed to choose our photographer wisely. After seeing the products that Cariad Photography had to offer, our choice was easy! Steffi Smith and her husband, Steve, treated us like family and truly blessed us with her awesome talent in taking photos! She and her husband worked as a team to capture our day. She showed up totally prepared with multiple cameras and back up equipment, which impressed me. At her suggestion, we had an intimate moment prior to the actual ceremony where my fiance was able to walk down the aisle of a small church at our venue. As she came walking down the aisle, Steffi was able to capture the look on my face, seeing my bride for the first time. We came back to the cold waters of North Georgia to play in the waterfalls and have it all captured forever in film! After all the wonderful time together and the amazing work that Cariad Photography did, we count ourselves truly blessed that we not only received some awesome photos but we now have some amazing friends. Most people that are hired for a job, do just that, their jobs. Steffi and her husband, Steve, go well beyond just doing a job. They have a true passion for their work and they want their clients, both bride and groom, to love what they do.They are more than just vendors to us... we count Steffi and Steve as dear friends now.

The photos are BEAUTIFUL! We are so excited to have such fine pictures of us, our families, and friends at our wedding celebration. Our photographer, Laura, was a pleasure and knew just how to capture the perfect moments. We are so pleased to finally have such lovely photographs of the two of us. The extensive list of "must have photos" was conscientiously checked off and then we were gifted to have some we didn't even think of ourselves! We were amazed at how quickly our photos were ready and were thrilled at the additional prints that were included. Cariad means "Beloved." These professionals truly captured on film a day we shall never forget, one for which we are incredibly grateful, and a time we felt most beloved. This company really knows what a bride is looking for in pictures that will last a lifetime! The photographer, Laura, is so helpful and knows her stuff! If you let her have control to choose photos, lighting and backgrounds she can work magic! Steffi, the graphic artist that creates your photo album, is very very talented and her and Laura work so well together!!!!! Pictures were one of the most important parts of the wedding and they last forever so I wouldn't have chosen any differently!

10 STARS!! My friend used Steffi and Steve at her wedding, I remembered her pictures right away and how much I loved them. So I called Steffi up and already knew in the 1st 5 minutes of talking with her that she was booked! She was genuinely excited for us and interested in who we were as a couple. We first had our engagement session with her and Steve.I don't like being photographed & hate my smile. She made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun on our session. And the results? BLEW US AWAY! She spoiled us with little surprises here and there, prints of our pics, videos and take home cards with our engagement pic for our wedding guests! We had one framed for our "guest book frame" and she made sure to make the one we wanted perfect in size and all so it would work with the frame we ordered, and did it while we were on the phone. I could always reach her for any question request we had and she was more than helpful and happy to do it. As our wedding day approached she sent us messages of how excited she was. Our wedding was at a venue she had not shot at before so she made it a point to come to our rehersal to get a feel for the place and pick out the best picture spots. On our wedding day she blew us away again! Her a Steve were there with us every step of the way shooting away and the shots they got!!! WOW WOW WOW!! She even was getting I shot I wanted and took a stumble for me:) The pictures already started coming in the very next day!! She works so hard on each photo. I could not believe how beautiful they all were, how she really captured our LOVE, my love for my dad in our father daughter dance and how much fun everyone had. She captured every memory I could have ever asked her to and then some and definitely some classic face expressions, dance moves and KISSES between me and my hubby :) She absolutely SPOILED me from the second I hired her. And it did not stop after the wedding, she sent us more prints of our wedding day as a gift and made a video using the pictures for us. She guided us through picking pictures for our album , because it is not easy to eliminate ANY of her pictures. Then the album came in. The design, the quality, the presentation..everything about it was beyond my expectations! And... she had yet another surprise that our wedding that she captured beautifully is going to be featured in a wedding blog this November. So for CARIAD Photography : LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I absolutely cannot sing their praises enough. They deserve 6 stars if I was allowed to create one extra. My experience with them was more than perfect from beginning to end. Because photos and/or video is the greatest avenue to our wedding memories, we were more picky about our photographer than anything else. Cariad blew me away. We did our engagement photos with them as well as our wedding day and I have never had so much fun and more importantly had the most amazing photo books and prints of my entire life!! Steffi and Steve will keep you on task the entire time before the event and especially the day of. Their attention to detail is so appreciated. Steffi was soooooooo easy to reach (which is so important in planning because it can be hard to juggle all the contacts)-she answered the phone EVERY single time I called her. She would call me about alerts on what to bring, what to remember, etc. It's so stress free working with them and your photos are going to be even more wonderful than you can ever imagine. My best friend is a professional photographer and she was so amazed with their work that she couldn't even believe what she saw. They have so many choices, and they bring actual books for you to see. I would have never changed my photographers/videographers for anything in this whole world!! I highly recommend Cariad! Steffi and her team are wonderful, my husband and I think it was the best decision we make concerning our entire wedding. Last week we recieved our beautiful wedding album, so much thought was put in to each photograph and the pages were aranged very artistically. When we booked our wedding at Chota Falls, a list of vendors was given to us. We chose Cariad Photography because they were the preferred photographers and they knew the "lay of the land". From the beginning, Steffi and Steve were professional. Our entire package was a customized package which included engagement photos, wedding day photos, video of the ceremony, our customized wedding album, as well as all the photos burned to discs. When meeting with Steffi, she took her time with us, gave professional and positive suggestions, and made us feel extremely comfortable. We had our engagement pictures back within three weeks and they were fantastic! Their work is flawless, creative, and absolutely amazing! To be honest, I don't feel like I photograph well at all. However, Steffi made me believe and feel like I was the most beautiful bride ever! I felt so comfortable with her and her team. The morning after our wedding, Steffi hand delivered an absolutely gorgeous picture of Jason and I in a field surrounded by the vibrant fall leaves. Not only did Jason and I get one, but both our moms got a copy too! She was extremely thoughtful. We so enjoyed working with her and she made our dream wedding that much more wonderful! We just got our customized wedding album this week and it is even better than we could have imagined. What started out as our photographers for our wedding, turned in to a friendship. We have been recommending Cariad to anyone who inquires about needing a photographer. My husband and I got married on April 9th of 2011 in Highlands, NC at my family's property. I had to replan our wedding 5 times over a 2 year period because my husband is an active-duty Marine, and Steffi Smith was always easily accessable and super agreeable to all the changes from day 1. She connected me to our top-notch caterer and to our wonderful reasonably priced hair/nail/make up artists. Our wedding was perfect because of Steffi! She and her husband were absolutely wonderful to work with, and did an OUTSTANDING job with our photos the day of, professionally dealing with rain, bright sun, an insane amount of knats, and seperated family issues. What I really enjoyed was how fast our photos were available online, within the month, and ordering prints was super easy with low rates. She also did an excellent job assembling our beautiful wedding album, sending it only 4 months post the wedding. Most photographers take ages to get wedding photos to the couple, and especially the album. Steffi worked with me every step of the way in planning, the day of our wedding, and after to ensure all of our needs were met. Best of all, her photos are amazing! She captured many important moments of our wedding perfectly. Steffi truely knows how to perfectly manage her business and care for the needs of her clients, going above and beyond. I personally feel that for how amazing of a job she does, she could charge so much more. Her rates remain reasonable because she loves her job and her love is easily exhibited in her work. You would be blessed to have her as your photographer!!

It doesn't get better than Cariad Photography. Steffi and Steve photographed my wedding in Seaside, Florida in October 2009. I met Steffi at my friend Kim's wedding and had seen her amazing photos and albums. Once I became engaged I was hopeful Steffi would photograph my destination wedding. Lucky for me she did! She is a true artist, loves her work, and it shows. Steve and Steffi are exactly what you want from wedding photographers. You can not go wrong with Cariad. Trust me!

Let me first start by saying that photography is very important to me. I really wanted great wedding pictures because lets face it ladies after all is said and done all you will have left is a husband and photos and...some toasting glasses and cake servers anyway so I had it in my mind that I wanted great wedding pics. I met with Steffi where she showed me these great albums that she had done that just blew me away. I knew she was the right one for me, I loved her style, her dedication and most of all the way she cared about making our wedding perfect. She specially designes her wedding albums so that each one is different and I LOVE mine. I am so happy that I chose Cariad for our photography. I had the pleasure of getting to know Steffi and Laura for my August 2008 wedding. My husband and I bonded with Steffi from the very beginning, and could not have booked a better photography team for our wedding day. We began with a wonderful engagement session at Chota Falls a few months prior to the wedding. It was so romantic and fun for my husband and I. Steffi then proposed the idea of taking our wedding pictures BEFORE the wedding. At first I did not think this was a good idea because it went against the tradition of "not seeing the bride before the wedding". I was hesitant at first, but this turned out to be the best way for us to get amazing pictures of the two of us. It cut out all of the chaos and let us just take our time! I highly recommend this because Steffi still gives you that special moment when your husband sees you for the first time (and of course she gets that moment on camera too!). Steffi and Laura caught some of the most precious moments from our wedding day and I know if you booked them for your Georgia wedding, you will NOT be disappointed!

We used Cariad Photography for our October 2008 wedding and that was the best wedding decision we made! Both Steffi (owner) and Laura (business partner) came out to photograph our wedding. In the months leading up to the wedding, we had very personal and attentive service (questions about our personalities, interests, etc.). Our engagement shoot was so fun and carefree (we thought it might be stressful!). On our wedding day, Steffi, Laura and an assistant were there to capture every memorable moment without being too-in-your-face. More than anything, they just want their couples to be happy with their photography. These ladies have such great hearts - in an industry that is often cut-throat and scamming. These two really went ABOVE AND BEYOND in terms of being personal, thoughtful and customer service oriented, and we love our photos. Cariad photography did an awesome job at our June 2010 wedding. Steffi and her husband were very professional. In fact, many guests commented on their professionalism. The album she created for us is truly a beautiful piece of art that we will enjoy forever. We also really enjoyed the slideshow she made for us, which was a surprise. Besides choosing my husband, choosing Cariad photography was the best decision I made for our wedding. The service was absolutely phenomenal. My pictures were fantastic. She was great. Very professional and wonderful. She has proofs ready for us within 2 days. She also came back to visit us during the bonfire to deliver one picture that she already printed out for us to take with us.
