My husband and I had a wedding of our dreams! Many of our guests talked about what an incredible reception we had over a month after the wedding! The food catered by Cobalt was 5-star quality. Everybody ate their fill! We love that the restaurant is walking distance to the resort; many of our guests met with us the next morning for an incredible brunch there! Ally went above and beyond to make this day as easy and perfect as possible. She was with us every step of the planning process and helped us in more ways than I can count. She even made us a plate and made sure we had a drink throughout the party! At the honeymoon suite, she surprised us with a gift basket with champagne, snacks, and even breakfast options . This was a destination wedding for us, but we were accommodated in every way possible; they let us set up the reception hall the day before and take down the decorations the day after! We were given a hospitality suite that included a refrigerator to store the cake. And the rooms are absolutely stunning!! It was hard for us to leave. The amenities were great too! I enjoyed the layered pool and lazy river outside as well as the hot tubs, heated indoor pools, and saunas in each building , and the water slide! The kids had a blast too and it was fun for all ages. Caribe Resort was the only resort we looked at before making our decision because it was everything we could have hoped for. I would do it all exactly the same if given the chance!
We had a fabulous wedding weekend at the Caribe for our wedding October 21, 2017. All of the condos we rented were beautiful.
The events & planning department is terrific! We were married on the breezeway. Our reception was to be held on the Lazy River deck but the 45 MPH winds caused a change in plans. The reception was moved into an event room with no problem and most guests never realized it wasn't the original plan, it was handled so well.
Cobalt's catered and the food was divine! I still have people commenting on how delicious it was.

Located on over 30 pristine acres, Caribe Resort features the most amenities of any lodging on the island, making it a superb wedding venue. With a stunning beach and bay location, you can have a beautiful sunset ceremony and reception overlooking the beach on the Lazy River Deck, or dockside by Perdido Bay. This property can host weddings for up to 150 and can hold your event indoors and out, with catering, photography and luxury accommodations for your guests. The Breezeway, Lazy River Deck, C-D Breezeway Deck and Bravo Pool all offer different ambiences and scenic views for your proceedings, and the indoor space in D-100 makes an excellent weather backup option. Additionally, this property has wheelchair access and wireless internet, providing additional convenience for all attendees.
Each wedding booking at Caribe Resort includes 11 hours of rental time and the use of the indoor backup space. The staff will provide setup and breakdown for the on-site tables, chairs, and linens as well as reception trash service. The resort amenities include pools, hot tubs, saunas, a fitness room, mini golf, water slides, a tennis court, a pickle ball court, bocce ball, corn hole, ping pong, an on-site restaurant, a marina, and more.

Hi! My name is Maudie Mae and I am the Events and Group Sales Coordinator here at Caribe Resort! My face may look a little familiar, as I am the bride in some of our listing photos! I love our venue so much that my husband and I got married here at Caribe Resort! I could not recommend our property enough! It was the best day ever and my friends and family are still talking about how fun and beautiful our wedding was! I graduated from Troy University with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management. I moved to Orange Beach, AL in the summer of 2022 to work at Caribe Resort and have loved every minute of it! What I love most about my job is seeing two people come together as one and celebrate their love for each other on their wedding day!
