Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile, I'm glad you're here. I'm Carin, a wedding and portrait photographer serving Missoula and surrounding areas of Western Montana. I’ve been shooting for a decade and have professional training from the Rocky Mountain School of Photography. Over the past several years I've been on the wild journey of running my own photography business and loving every minute of it.
Your wedding day will be one of the most memorable days of your life, and I know the planning process can be overwhelming. After all, most of us generally don’t have any prior experience planning an event of this size… let alone being the center of attention on such a momentous occasion. My goal is to ease the process for you~ from our initial phone conversation, through booking, then working with you to devise a wedding day timeline and shot list, guiding you and your family and friends into beautiful group portraits, and assisting with custom album designs... I will ensure the process is easy and straightforward for you.
On the day of your wedding, I will be as unobtrusive as possible, while still capturing all the details of your special day. I am always focused on making sure you, your partner, and your guests feel comfortable being in front of the camera and doing whatever I can to help ease any wedding day jitters you may have. If you have an idea for a shot you'd like to try, I'm all ears! Got a spot in mind for a few private portraits of just the two of you? Great!! I enjoy partnering with my clients to ensure all of their preferences and desires are heard and accommodated.
Lastly, you should know that I am committed to working with couples to accommodate their budgets. Wedding photography is expensive, but it is an investment in capturing and preserving this special day for years to come. She’s based in Missoula and came all the way to Big Sky for our wedding weekend. She brings amazing vibes and great professionalism when it comes to the product you’re receiving.
Excellent price, we were so beyond thrilled with our photos. She perfectly captured the energy of the day. We worked together on a shot list and what was most important in our photos pre wedding, so she was able to help with wrangling family and making sure every photo we wanted done was shot.
Any friends of ours in the future getting married we will be 1000% be recommending her.

Amazing to work with! There was several calls before the big day discussing my vision and what was expected. The pictures came out beautiful and bright! She was very fast and efficient. We did the book package and she compromised a beautiful photo album that we can pull off the shelf and look at to relive the memories

Carin was great to work with and worked with our budget. She asked for a shot list in the months leading up to the wedding which was detailed so we wouldn’t forget key moments. She is one of the best photographers I have seen at a wedding getting all the shots we asked for plus even more we are glad she did. She felt like a natural part of the wedding getting candid shots as well as any staged shots got beautiful pics of the venue and decorations she did a really good job of capturing the entirety of the event and atmosphere. Many of the pics she took would fit right into a bridal magazine. She was fantastic to work with and I can’t recommend her enough.

Carin is amazing to work with, she puts so much thought and effort into the photos she takes. Sharon was extremely professional throughout the shoot for my wedding and engagement session. Her attention to the small details is what really makes her stand out from the rest. She was always making sure that the light was just right, hairs weren’t out of place and smiles were present. Carin’s talent is evident in the proofs you’ll receive for ordering, every picture is so good you’ll want to order every one! Carin is a wonderful person and photographer. She photographed my daughter’s wedding and we have tons of excellent pictures. She was awesome to work with and has a photo sheet you can fill out before the big day so group and family shots don’t get missed. We absolutely loved Carin as our photographer! Before the shoot, she really helped with outfit and location choices and we felt really comfortable and confident choosing exactly what was right for us! At the shoot, she really made us feel at ease about being in front of the camera, it was all so easy and natural. We were so thankful to book Carin for our Montana wedding. She made the whole process very easy for us, and created a wonderful shot list for us to personalize the experience. I’m normally very camera-shy, but she made us and all our guests feel comfortable and seen. Carin was wonderful to work with for our daughter’s wedding. The photos are amazing and really help document this special day for our family.
She is very organized and helped us create a shot schedule to capture the photos we wanted. She also did a great job capturing sweet moments and interactions during the event that help convey the love from the day.
We also really appreciated getting a few photos right away as a "sneak peek" that we could share with family and friends, and the full album didn't take long either.

Carin did an impeccable job capturing my wedding photos. I would highly recommend her to anyone! I gave her lots of inspiration and she was able to make them all come to life and they turned out beautifully! Carin was very professional and did an amazing job creating photos and grabbing candid shots. Carin did a wonderful job capturing photos on our wedding day. She was punctual, upbeat and professional. She did a great job at staging photos and getting the best lighting. She was able to direct groups and crowds for great shots. The candid shots were phenomenal. She did such a great job of being present and capturing intimate moments.
