Carina was fantastic! My fiancé and I had never done a professional photoshoot before, so we were not super experienced in having our photos taken. Also, we had an original location that fell through to unforeseeable circumstances. Nonetheless, Carina had contingency plans and ideas that came to fruition! We had so much fun shooting with her and considering the circumstances, it went way better than expected :) She made us feel incredibly comfortable from the get go and the pictures she took truly captured us as a couple with so much love. I highly recommend Carina if you want high quality and expressive pictures with an easy going photographer!

Carina and Johnny were such a fun and easy couple to work with. They made the process easy. They have excellent communication and so that was one less thing I had to stress about during the already stressful time of planning a wedding. Our pictures came out beautiful and we absolutely love them! After the wedding we ordered pictures and we had not received them after a few weeks. I text Carina and she was so great at resolving the issue quickly! We received our pics a couple days later and they're beautiful!

We gave them five stars because they were very professional and just made us feel very comfortable with them that made our best side come out. They had excellent communication with us throughout the whole process.

When I started planning our wedding, I knew one of the most important elements would be to tell the story of our special day through photos. Carylux Photography did not disappoint!!! Carina and Johnny did a phenomenal job capturing the memories of our Wedding and Reception in October! From beginning to end, we have had a wonderful experience! They made the time to have several phone meetings with me and even met us at our Wedding/Reception Venue to plan the perfect photos. This was integral, since we live in Houston and were getting married in Austin. They went above and beyond to ensure that the vision that we had for our Wedding Day came to life. From our Pre-wedding photos through our Sparkler Send Off, they were Amazing! Even after the wedding we have met to review photos and albums. Now that I have seen all the images I can say they are absolutely spectacular!!! I can't wait to get our framed prints and albums! We are so grateful to Carina and Johnny for all of their guidance, professionalism, and efforts in making this such a beautiful day for us!

The BEST ever! My fiancé and I looked for about a month for the right photographer and it never seemed to workout, either we didn’t like their attitude or WAY too pricey. UNTIL! We came across Carylux! They were very well priced and the sweetest couple! They have us laughing through out the shoot (it makes great photos) not only that but they made us so comfortable. We love them so much that we will use them for every occasion!! 10/10 recommend this cute couple to take your pictures!!

We absolutely loved working with Carina and John. I have known Carina for many years now so it was a beautiful experience to have her photograph me and my husband on our wedding day! They were super easy and comfortable to work with. They’re super sweet and caring as well. I remember for our engagement photo session, it was extremely humid and hot out. During every little break, John would fan me so that I wouldn’t get all sweaty! I was super content with our engagement photos and cannot wait to see our wedding ones. They do a fantastic job!! Carina walker was the best photographer! She was so easy to work with on specific photos I wanted. Also she had plenty of creative photo ideas herself. Her husband is also a great photographer. We really loved that they worked together. He took before pictures of the groom and his guys while she took photos of me and my girls. At first I was very skeptical about picking a photographer online. I’ve had really bad experiences in the past; however, Carina and Johnny were amazing. I absolutely love their work and their professionalism. They took their time with detailing every single picture. They work so well as a team. You get two photographers for the price of one. They are super fun to work with and make you feel special while taking your pictures. I booked them for my engagement pictures and I was very satisfied with the quality of their work. Because they did so well, I have also booked them for my upcoming wedding. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

Vendor was responsive and seemed willing to work with us. However the business side was a disaster. Promises made in phone calls or emails was never embellished into the contract. Their standard contract is offered which omitted many deliverables they said would be included leading up to contract signing. Definitely a deal breaker. Read carefully whatever is submitted as the contract as it may exclude details worked out over the phone or text/email. Just a heads up. I can not attest to the quality or performance of this vendor as we never got to that point.

When we first met with Carina and Johnny, my fiancé and I felt so at ease with them. It was clear that they make a great photography duo and they compliment each other so well. Carina is very responsive and followed up very quickly. We had our engagement photos taken at the Houston Arboretum. They made us feel comfortable as well as have fun during the photo shoot. The photos came out so beautiful and they really captured our spark and love for each other. They took so much time with us and clearly have an eye to get that perfect shot with the beautiful landscape behind us. I can’t wait for them to take our wedding photos next month! I highly recommend them for your photographers!

Carina and Johnnie make an amazing team. They provide high quality work at a great price point. Having two photographers makes all the difference. I told Carina that while I was in the bridal suite I heard people arriving, talking and laughing and I was curious as to what was going on. Once I saw the pre ceremony pics it's as if through those pics she and Johnnie had taken me and shown me what I missed during the time I was getting ready.

Carina and Johnny are two of the sweetest, personable people I've ever met...AND they photograph weddings! Double bonus! I felt like I've known them for years from the day we first met. They were both so much fun to work with and produced FABULOUS photos. The day of our engagement photos the typical Houston weather (the HUMIDITY) reared its ugly head. My hair was a tropical nightmare (my opinion) and we were both sweaty messes. I just knew there was NO way these pics would be any good...HA! WRONG! Gorgeous, gorgeous pictures...unless you were there, you'd have no idea how miserable the weather was that day. Kudos to these two!!! The wedding day was a repeat of the fabulousness we experienced at the first shoot...only BETTER! Cool part about the couple edge...Carina was there to photo me and the maids getting ready and Johnny did the same with the guys. I don't know how, but they captured EVERY moment! I can't say enough about their work. P.S. the turn around time is phenomenal! Had engagement pics TWO DAYS later and wedding photos will be here in 4. Magnifique!!!

Carina and John are AWESOME!! We had a very small wedding with no bridesmaids or groomsmen. They split our session in two so that we could get some engagement pictures made and get the most for our money. They made us feel comfortable right away with their wit and humor.
