Carley grew up in a family that celebrated every event and was the host of every party in the neighborhood. The atmosphere of warmth and openness that surrounded her as she grew up inspired her to study Hospitality Management at James Madison University. After her studies, Carley entered into the magical world of weddings and all things romance. She gained experience in many prestigious places including Hotel Roanoke and the Taubman Museum of Art. Carley soon branched out on her own and she now gets to celebrate with couples on the happiest day of their lives.
Carley Elizabeth Weddings is on hand to guarantee that your party runs as smoothly as possible. From managing vendors and venue details to preparing guest lists and timelines, she will ensure that your event is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. Carley is a true gem!! Working with Carley was such a delight and made the wedding planning process so seamless. She and I worked together for 16 months and from the very beginning...
to the very end she was extremely organized, efficient, and positive.
Every time I met with her, I always had several questions/concerns for her and she took time to walk me through each question/concern and made sure my nerves were put to rest before moving on. She really focused on what was important to me, my visions and dreams and did everything she could to make them become a reality, and in the end my wedding weekend was even more than my husband and I could have ever dreamed of!
On our wedding day, Carley and her husband Chris were the most amazing duo. They were extremely organized and calm. They were extremely intentional in their words of encouragement and helped in more ways than I can explain. I met Chris the night of the rehearsal and by the end of my wedding it felt like he had been a part of the planning since the very beginning.
I cannot speak more highly of Carley and recommend her to any Bride/Groom that wants their dreams and visions to become a reality!

Lastly, our transportation for all of our guests to the reception fell through 2 1/2 weeks prior to the ceremony. Most vendors were already booked and Carley found the perfect replacements at a fraction of the cost that either my daughter could find!!

Carley went above and beyond for us and helped us out of several wedding "surprises", including finding us an incredible wedding photographer weeks before the wedding when ours had to cancel for medical reasons, avoiding a sudden and significant up-charge from our caterer, and helped us navigate vendors that were difficult for us to get in contact with. She is so well connected within the wedding community and is able to approach each unique situation with ideas that complement her clients' wishes. Having a planner that truly cares for and advocates for their clients makes the wedding planning process as stress-free as possible. We got her day-of coordinator package but she was helpful many months before the wedding day with suggestions and just checking it to see how everything was coming along. She took all of our wants and needs into account and was so sweet and encouraging when we had hiccups along the way. We had multiple meetings with her throughout the planning process to make sure we were all on the same page design and schedule wise, she wanted to make sure nothing was falling through the cracks. The day of our wedding she got straight to work at our venue and made sure everything was how we envisioned. We even had an issue with another vendor on the day and she handled it completely, wouldn't even let us near it. We were so lucky to have her and her assistant with us on our wedding day and we highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in the area!

She was also always readily available and a quick responder whenever I had a question pop up. Her very calm, sweet demeanor definitely helped me to stay reserved :)
To sum it all up, I could not have imagined my wedding day going any more smoothly. At the end of the day, I can honestly say it could not have been possible without Carley.

absolutely amazing and truly went above and beyond in every way. Due to Covid we rescheduled this day multiple times. Carley was always so organized and completely on top of things. She never hesitated to help in any way needed and that meant so much to us. As the Mother of the Bride, she not only was there for Chelsea and Sam, but 100 % always there for me as well. We will be forever grateful for all her love, encouragement and support during the past year and a half ( due to Covid that’s how long it took) the day was beautiful and seamless because of Carley. Her husband Chris helps the day of. He literally drove an hour, both ways, there and back to pick up all of the flowers so we wouldn’t have to worry about it. He also personally checked on my husband the entire evening because he wasn’t feeling his best. They’re an amazing team. Carley, her husband and their team kept us organized and on schedule, did a lot of the heavy lifting of setting up and tearing down and most importantly allowed us to just relax and enjoy the day. She was very responsive during the planning process and made excellent recommendations along the way. Before she left, she made certain all of our details were finalized and our new events coordinator was fully up to speed. Our wedding and reception went perfectly and Carley deserves a lot of credit for helping make that happen. We certainly missed her being there and can’t recommend her enough.

n imagine what the weekend would have been like if we hadn’t hired Carley. There were so many details that I hadn’t thought of that she completely took care of. She coordinated our rehearsal and the entirety of our wedding day (she handed out paper timelines to the wedding party so everyone knew what was going on and when).
The ceremony and reception were at different locations, and she made sure all guests made it from place to place (including myself). When it was time to move on to the next big thing (bouquet toss, etc) she would always ask me if we were ready before moving on.
It was so nice to have someone there to remind us of the schedule but not push us. It was also so peaceful and reliving to know that she was there keeping track of time and details so that we could enjoy ourselves and not worry about anything else at all.
If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, I highly recommend that you do. It was such a great decision, and we absolutely recommend Carley. She made sure that we were happy and comfortable the entire weekend. Thank you, Carley!
