Our wedding was back in September 2022 but I still have lots of great things to say about working with Irina! She did a phenomenal job in getting every memorable shot with our mini engagement and wedding photos! We are still in awe with the way everything turned out! At the end of the day, all your are going to have is your wedding pictures to look back on to re-live those moments and is worth every penny booking with her. We also got a lovely keepsake box with our 10 top favorites and thumb drive. Very impressive and beautifully packaged! We could not thank you enough Irina! Thank you again!!

We had such a great experience with Irina! She listened to us and made us feel very comfortable. She had great ideas for unique poses and captured all of the important moments. Photos ended up coming out better than we could have hoped for!

Irina is an awesome and experienced photographer which is helpful when you have no idea what to expect on your wedding day. She works with you and your coordinator to make sure you get the shots you want. She even recommended some based on previous weddings she did at our venue. The planning process was straightforward and her rates were reasonable. On the day of the wedding she helped us get ready and reassured us that everything would be okay. She never stopped taking pictures and captured some wonderful moments throughout the night. We anxiously awaited our photos and they turned out better than we expected. She did a wonderful job capturing all the important memories. All of the pictures were gorgeous and she really made you feel special. We definitely recommend her to anyone getting married in the Carlsbad area!

Irina with Carlsbad Photo was incredible on our big day! Not only that but the whole process of working with her was just easy, which is so appreciated with all the other stresses involved in wedding planning. She came early, she stayed late, she did gorgeous sunset photos, and then she even brought lights to do night time photos too! Irina’s work is worth way more than 5 stars!! Me and my husband hired her for our engagement shoot and we loved her work so much we hired her for our elopement! She made the day so special, is reasonably priced and worked well with our busy schedules. I will definitely be hiring her for our future events!!

This review has been long overdue. My wife and I got married last October. Originally we had discussed not having a photographer as it was a small elopement ceremony on the beach. However, as the weeks, then days drew nearer, I felt in my heart that I should try to capture the moment and get a photographer. So with less than a week to go before the big day, I reached out to several wedding photographers, each saying they were already booked. Then I came across Carlsbad Photo and dreading another person telling me they were booked. To my delightful surprise, Irina answered right away and was able to take on my event with such little lead time. I have to thank her so much for being there. Our small wedding (about 20 people) was captured beautifully and she provided us with so much advice for poses that we let her have full control of picture taking. Everytime I see our wedding album I am blown away by the quality of the pictures that captured every moment. I cannot thank Irina enough. Also, my apologies for the long over due review! We would strongly recommend Irina to everyone and anyone. She captured all our moments and honestly felt like someone in our friend group throughout the ceremony. We had a couple of uncooperative toddlers (our daughter included) but Irina took them in her stride. We can't say enough good things about her. We will be using her for all future photoshoots in the future. Thank you so much!

Irina did my engagement and wedding photos and from the very beginning, I warned her that I never know how to pose or what to do with my hands. When you look at my albums, you'd never know. I immediately felt comfortable with her and she was so amazing at coaching me through the poses. Our wedding went so amazingly fast and Irina stole us several times for sunset and night pictures. She even got us super fast sneak peeks the very next day so we could send thank you cards almost immediately on the following day. In every single way possible, Irina repeatedly went above and beyond the call of duty. I can't imagine having anyone else shoot my major life events.

We absolutely LOVED our photographer Irina! She was so efficient with photographing our wedding. All of our guests were complimenting her work and wanted to know where we found her. So many of my friends now want to hire Irina for their events. Our pictures came out amazing and we're still having a hard time narrowing down our favorites to print. I would absolutely recommend Irina! She did amazing work and helped make the wedding run so smoothly.

Irina was amazing and affordable! A lot of photographers had requirements that just didn't fit my needs and Irina was very flexible. She's good to communication, called to consult and get an idea of our vision and gave us tips on how to make our photos look amazing! She gave us a sneak peak of our photos a couple days after our wedding and had our whole album with TONS of photos weeks later and sent a USB for printable versions as well. I would book her for any event in the future.

All I can say is “WOW.” The final result were breathtaking, beautiful pictures. The process was flawless from beginning to end. Irina arrived at the venue prior to look at photo opportunities. She located the most perfect hidden areas that in turn produced stunning pictures. She was creative with her poses and very detailed. We had our dog and grandkids in the wedding and she was amazing working with with both. Everyone loved her!

I've never been so excited to review somebody in my entire life!!! We were so lucky to have Irina as our photographer. I cannot say enough how important it is that your photographer on your wedding day is just as wonderful as a person as she is a professional at what she does. A good photographer makes you feel comfortable and effortless behind the camera. Posing parents, siblings, wedding parties, flower girls, ring bearers, and the bride and groom coming together perfectly in a crazy short amount of time? You feel like it’s IMPOSSIBLE. It’s not! I’ve heard that weddings are always not on time. The truth is it’s more worth. The rings may be forgotten, the very important guest is being extremely late, and a lot of other reasons. Irina was super patient, she captured each and every photo I wanted without me even having to make sure that she did it. Her creativity, eye for perfection, and professionalism are unbelievable. The wedding day does by so fast, and it's important to have all the moments captured. My now husband and I could not have chosen a better photographer. Everyone at the wedding was talking about how great our photographer was. Irina introduced herself to every guest and family member at the wedding and made sure she got every guests’ picture which we are so grateful! We had so many out of state guests and wanted to remember every moment with them on our best day. If you are looking for pricing that makes sense, photographer who cares about the quality, your happiness on your wedding day, and feeling confident throughout that entire day and every time you look at pictures afterwards, then look no further!

I interviewed six photographers before selecting Carlsbad Photo. Irina was so easy to deal with from start to finish. We live out of state and I was nervous about selecting a photographer I had never met, but Irina put those nerves to rest. Our wedding photos turned out so beautiful and she captured our beach wedding perfectly! Carlsbad Photo and Irina were an excellent choice! We used Carlsbad Photo for our wedding and our photographer Irina was phenomenal. Neither my husband nor I were very comfortable with having our pictures taken and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed for both our engagement and wedding. She took so many beautiful candid photographs and gave direction to make our pictures look both beautiful and natural. When you meet people with a good heart who are loving life, everything around them is that much better. She will help you with questions beyond photos for your big day - she has a lot of experience and literally knows everything about weddings! She was pretty much our coordinator. She instructed us when to stop and kiss after we headed out of the isle, how to cut the cake, and even how to toss my bouquet to get the most beautiful pictures!!!And to me, the best part of booking Irina is that you will have someone on your special day who truly is the TEAM BRIDE!

Irina is amazing and professional photographer. She knows what exactly needs to be done while she’s taking pictures. She makes everyone feel so comfortable front of the camera. The most amazing that she gives you a sneak peek after the event on the next day! And so you don’t have to wait for at least one professional photo long time. Her photos are amazing! Irina was absolutely amazing!! our wedding photos turned out beautiful she was very responsive, easy to work with, and even captured all the special details I put into the decorations! We definitely recommend her!! Both her and her assistant were so professional and friendly to our guests :)

Irina was amazing!! She was a true gem to work with, listened to what we wanted for our wedding pictures and sent us sneak peeks that took our breath away! Irina did our wedding photos and they turned out wonderfully! She did an amazing job capturing all of the moments we wanted plus some more. Irina was incredibly keen on the shadows and the way my dress lay so each picture was just right. There was no time for our portraits of just the two of us between the ceremony and reception, so she even pulled us away for only 15 min and got some perfect shots during the reception. She was also incredibly flexible when my hair salon ran late and was so nice she added zero stress to any crazy situation that came up. Thank you Irina for adding to special day!

I cannot say enough great things about Irina. My now husband and I decided to elope to San Diego and I contacted her 5 days before the wedding and she was able to fit us into her schedule. She was incredibly helpful in helping us pick the perfect location and also being able to answer questions I had. On top of everything, her photos were absolutely stunning. WOW I have nothing but good things to say from Irina. She is so sweet and talented. Me and my fiance will be getting married on 8-5-17, we were so nervous about trying to find a photographer that would offer exactly what we were looking for. It was actually this website that led me to her page. We met with her and there was no doubt that we had found the one we were looking for. We had our engagement session this past April and the pictures and work Irina did is absolutely lovely and gorgeous. She really did capture those precious moments.
