Carly is Inspired

to discuss hiring her as a month-of coordinator for my wedding. At the time, I wasn't sure I wanted to pay for a coordinator-sure, the only things I definitely had for the wedding were a dress, a venue, and a photographer, but I was positive that I would overcome my lack of planning ambition and get it all done. Carly was a lifesaver. She helped me find my makeup artist, put me on track with a list of things I still had to do, and reassured me that the 3 hour gap between my ceremony and reception was a blessing. My husband was deployed/stationed 6,000 miles away throughout the entire planning process, so Carly was my sounding board and even made the trip out for my last planning meeting at my venue. When he finally flew in 3 days before the wedding, she took care of all the last-minute details and questions from my vendors so we could spend some time together (and plan our cross-country move that we made two days after the wedding). She ran our rehearsal, made and sent out a day-of schedule to all the vendors, and made sure we had hoagies for the trolley ride after the ceremony. A week before the wedding, we found out that the best man couldn't make it to the wedding, and she rolled with it until we secured a replacement 24 hours before the wedding. At the reception, she made sure everything ran the way we discussed, and seriously was a mind reader, asking me if I wanted the volume of the music turned down the second after I thought it was a little noisy. I am sure that there were issues that came up (I think the florist got lost and was late), but she handled them so well I had no clue and could just enjoy the day. To sum it all up, I would highly recommend Carly. She is so detailed and observant, and has no problem answering the same question repeatedly because you can't remember if you asked it or not. She is also a super-cool girl that I would love to grab a drink with. There is a serious chance I would have had an emotional breakdown from all the stress if it wasn't for her. Basically, she's amazing, and worth absolutely every penny and more.
