My daughter was married two months ago in July and Carly was our photographer. She came with an assistant which I thought was great. Carly's pictures came out amazing, so clear and sharp and she captured our true emotions in all parts of the wedding from the church to the cocktail hour and reception. She was so focused at catching the right candid moments such as my granddaughter staring blankly at the guests on the balcony or my husband and daughter having a special moment on the dance floor. She was in the right places at the right time. Carly was also friendly, thoughtful and was so focused on her job! We loved her! Do yourself a favor and book her for your wedding! You will not be disappointed!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!!! I've never written an online review in my life, but I've been so excited to write a raving review here of our experience with Carly. There are no amount of words that could even come close to adequately describe how amazing Carly is. Having Carly as our wedding photographer was hands down the best decision we made. She is super personable and was such a calming presence every single step of the way. She is so kind, experienced, highly organized, detailed, knowledgeable, and did I mention a calming presence? As two people who typically feel extremely uncomfortable in front of a camera, Carly totally put us as ease and every photo she took of us makes us look incredibly natural. Out of all our vendors, she was by far the most responsive- always responding to my emails and questions so quickly from day 1! And the quality of her pictures... yea, I'm speechless just thinking about them. Every single photo she takes is stunning and just on another level. Her talent and brilliance shines through in every single picture. We were in tears when we saw our wedding preview album and our jaws were on the floor with how beautiful and breathtaking each and every picture came out. No amount of words in the world could describe how incredible and talented of a photographer Carly is. Her ideas for different photo backgrounds, ability to capture the most perfect lighting, attention to detail with positioning for not only us but the entire wedding party, her patience in adjusting my dress for every picture, and the different angles of her photos are absolutely beyond amazing. She even sent us our preview album just 2 days after the wedding- INCREDIBLE!!!!! Carly is not only an amazing photographer, but also genuinely an amazing person. We felt like she was a trustworthy friend on our wedding day. We truly enjoyed our time working together, and we miss her now that the wedding is over! We could never thank you enough, Carly! We also want to send a giant thank you to Eva! She was so great to work with on our wedding day and was so easy to talk to. She did the most incredible job taking pictures of all the groomsmen. Her ideas for the group shots of the guys were so awesome and fun, and every picture she took is stunning. Also, thank you SO much for saving the day with your knowledge and help in placing the boutonnieres on all the groomsmen!! Who knows how that would've turned out without you!! We were sooo excited that Carly was available for our wedding day! My sister recommended her to me (she was her top choice but was unfortunately booked for her wedding). She made us feel so comfortable at our engagement shoot and she was amazing on our wedding day. She instantly makes you feel like a friend of hers. The quality and style of her photos are the best I’ve ever seen. We love all of our pictures so much and will cherish them forever! She got all of them back to us so quickly after our wedding as well. Would highly recommend her!!

From the second I saw Carly's photos on Instagram, I knew we had to work with her for our wedding. She was the very first vendor we reached out to! During our engagement photos, it couldn't be more clear that we picked the right photographer - the photos were so natural and beautiful, and she put us right at ease when she was shooting them. She is truly a pro and brought us to the most beautiful spots in Newport for the perfect photos. Our wedding was postponed at the very onset of COVID and out of all of our vendors, she was the very first to reach out and help us through it, and she was so organized and just incredibly kind to work with during over 2 years of delays. On our wedding day, she's such a nice, calming presence to have around and helped us with so much more than just photos - I was debating between two pairs of earrings to wear and looked right at Carly to figure out which one I should go with (and I have to say, the choice was the right one by far!). She captured the day just perfectly and blended in seamlessly, our family and friends all look amazing and natural (not posed) in the photos, which I love. And of course I have to mention, she did an AMAZING job photographing our wild and energetic dog during both formal portraits as well as when he made a crazy run down the aisle, I was so happy to see so many beautiful photos of him smiling, it warmed my heart! We got the most beautiful photo previews the night after our wedding and I really appreciate that I had her photos to share so soon :) She did a phenomenal job capturing detail photos of the florals and beyond and looking through the album it truly transported me back to the day. We are so lucky to have worked with you, Carly, you are so talented!

We found Carly on Instagram and could tell she was talented, but we continued to be blown away by her every step of the way! Carly was extremely easy to work with, caring, professional, and so calm even when the day is chaotic. A wedding day can feel busy and stressful, especially with changing weather conditions, and Carly is very zen and positive no matter what, so she was so wonderful to have with us throughout the weekend. We are fairly camera-shy people, and from the start when we took our engagement pictures with her, she made us feel so comfortable and natural and made us look better than we ever have before. Also, she is very communicative, and we were consistently incredibly impressed with the turn around time for the preview and album. Carly and her team really captured the beauty and joy of the whole weekend, and I am so grateful. I would HIGHLY recommend Carly to anyone because she’s not only a joy to work with, but she will make sure you get the most beautiful photos of your special day- you will not be disappointed!

WOW! Where do I even begin? From the day we had our first meeting with Carly we knew we needed her as our photographer. She is incredible in every possible way! She is so organized and so easy to communicate with in order to plan out our day perfectly. It ended up raining on our wedding day, but she convinced us to still go outside for pictures and risk it. It was COMPLETELY worth it! She brought umbrellas for everyone that were clear and perfect and the pictures are breathtaking. She captured every single moment of the night! She created a perfect timeline for the night that allowed us time to get all of the pictures we wanted and still enjoy our cocktail hour. She even went the extra mile and called me the week before my wedding to ease my mind about a plan B in case of rain. She made me feel comfortable and confident all day long! She is the best of the best!!!

I was completely confident in my choice with booking Carly to photograph our wedding. Besides the fact that her pictures are beyond beautiful, there are so many other reasons why Carly is amazing. She traveled for our wedding and it was so kind of her to go out of her way to a new venue in a different state to be be there for us. She took time to meet with us before the wedding to go over my timeline and make sure she knew what we wanted. Carly took extra time on the wedding day to make sure that she was able to capture everything that we wanted. On the wedding day she she truly made us feel confident while taking photographs. She was calm and made the day run smoothly. Carly is such a hard worker and dedicated to her work. I know she put so much heart into our wedding album and editing the pictures. I was so surprised to get the pictures back in a timely matter. Each one is better than the next and it is so hard to pick a favorite. These memories will last us a lifetime and are so special to relive the day through her work. Carly was absolutely phenomenal to work with from the point of booking to album delivery and hiring her to photograph our wedding is one of the best decisions I’ve made! One of the many things that impressed me the most about Carly was how efficient she was - we had plenty of time to relax and freshen up before our ceremony after having our first look and got to enjoy a lot of our cocktail hour because of how quickly she was able to get her shots without in any way sacrificing opportunities to get good photos. We have SO many stunning pictures to the point where I seriously struggle to narrow them down to favorites to use for photo albums/frames. On top of this, she was so personable and just a joy to be around that she felt more like a friend taking our pictures, which made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and have so much fun that we were able to truly enjoy the entire experience. I could go on and on about how great it was to work with Carly and how amazing her work is, but for the sake of the length of this review…we got everything we could have imagined and more working with Carly and I could not recommend her enough!!

Hiring Carly for our wedding day was without a doubt the best decision we made throughout our entire planning process. Carly is the absolute best of the best- she is kind, professional, responsive, and SO talented at what she does. After booking Carly for our wedding day we had our engagement photos and we immediately knew we made the right decision. She made my husband and I feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera and we were able to relax, have fun, and truly enjoy the experience. We then had to postpone our original wedding date because of COVID, and Carly made the process so easy- she was reassuring, extremely kind, and had wonderful communication with us. We finally had our wedding day last month, and Carly exceeded every single one of our expectations (which were already high from our engagement pictures!) by a mile. My husband and I are still speechless by the photos and amazed by how well she captured the emotions of the day. When I look at the photos I truly feel that I am back re-living every moment because of how well she captured both of our emotions. Carly was so easy to work with throughout every stage of the planning process because of how responsive she was to every single question we had, and the great direction she provided us with a detailed timeline. In addition, Carly sent us photos the day after our wedding, a full preview two days later, and our entire gallery a very short three weeks later! Carly was one of the best vendors we worked with, and I would 100% recommend that every couple hire her for their wedding! A friend recommended Carly to us and we fell in love with her work on her website. She set up some calls to get to know us and perfectly captured our personality in her photos. We started with an engagement shoot, which I was initially nervous about because my husband and I are not usually comfortable in front of a camera. But once we got started Carly made us feel totally at ease and gave us some poses and movements to get us laughing and comfortable. We had such a fun time during the engagement shoot, and the photos came out so natural and beautiful. Before the wedding, Carly was super organized and responsive to all my many questions. She helped us put together a wedding day timeline from scratch, and more importantly helped us stick to our schedule on our wedding day. Carly suggested the most picturesque spots in Boston for our wedding photos, including couple photos at the Old City Hall, which were some of our favorite shots. Carly was super professional, friendly, and attentive on our wedding day, and she made the photos run so smoothly even with a huge wedding party. She was a pleasure to work with before the wedding and on the wedding day, and she is unbelievably talented. The photos are absolutely stunning. Carly got our gallery to us so quickly, which is really impressive especially with all the other weddings and engagement shoots she has in the summertime. Looking at our gallery is like reliving our wedding day, and with each picture we feel we are back in that moment. The photos are natural and beautiful and dreamy, and the happiness and love we felt on our wedding day shines through in every photo. We have already looked at the gallery a thousand times, and we will continue to look back at it for the rest of our lives together to relive our special day. Hiring Carly was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we would recommend her to every other couple!

Where do I even start?! Carly is BEYOND talented. I booked Carly as soon as I booked my venue back in January 2019 without hesitation after seeing her work. Fast forward through the COVID-19 pandemic, Carly was with us at every step of the way, postponement after postponement. Carly was a phone call/text away, and I knew I couldn't lose her. Carly sent a detailed timeline weeks in advance of my wedding, provided advice for locations based on her knowledge and experience of the lighting. Carly exceeded ALL expectations on the day of our wedding. She showed up early, answered all my questions before I could even ask them, had a plan for our first look since our original location was a bit crowded. She was on the ball and ahead of everything. Carly does it all, from helping me with my veil, holding items from my fiancé's pocket, giving our trolley driver directions, knew the ins and outs of Boston, handled the chaos of extended family formals. Carly sent sneak peaks SO quickly. I couldn't recommend Carly enough. Thank you, thank you!

Carly is so AMAZING and TALENTED! Not only does Carly go above and beyond to capture timeless and classic photos, but is also so helpful! From carrying trains, help bustling dresses, keeping calm and making everyone feel so comfortable and beautiful during the photos! It was an honor to have Carly capture our wedding and engagement photos! So in love with her work!!

After seeing Carly’s work after getting engaged in 2018 I knew I had to have her. I reached out immediately and booked her before any other vendor. Then Covid hit, and to say that planning and rescheduling a wedding during a global pandemic was difficult and emotional would be an understatement. Carly was there every step of the way to provide guidance, listen to me complain and vent, follow up on our plans and when we decided to change our date there was no doubt that whatever date we chose had to work around Carly’s schedule. To this day that was the best decision my husband and I made. Throughout the course of planning Carly became a friend and someone that I knew I could trust to help make decisions that were best for my now husband and I. On the day of the wedding Carly was an absolute blessing and such a calming presence. She helped to keep everything on schedule and make adjustments on the fly when things got off track, she kept me calm, made me laugh, and it really felt like I had a friend by my side all day. When we got our sneak peeks back the next day I was absolutely speechless, the photos were absolutely stunning and I couldn’t wait to see more. Thankfully we didn’t have to! Carly got us back our final photos just TWO WEEKS later! I was in awe at the turnaround time and the quality of the images and my husband and I were in tears looking through them as they captured the day to an absolute tee. We are so obsessed with them all that we literally cannot decide on which ones to have printed. Carly is the best of the best. I feel so lucky to have had her as a part of our day and to have the most beautiful, raw, candid photos to look back on and cherish for the rest of our lives.

Ok, where do I start? Simply put, Carly is AMAZING. Not only is she exceptionally talented, but she has the BEST personality, makes you feel SO comfortable and is SUPER easy to talk to. We were lucky enough to have Carly shoot both our engagement and our micro wedding celebration and boy, did she deliver! She is open to any and all creativity. She takes your ideas and brings them to reality, tenfold. Navigating a wedding is challenging in itself, never mind during a global pandemic. Carly went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe on the day of our wedding (as both of our dads have compromised health). No question or favor was too big to ask of her. The best part? She was open to any type of conversation. In our opinion, Carly is the whole package and she is 10000% worth the investment. She has a magical way of capturing the most intimate moments in the most beautiful way. She made our engagement and our wedding so extremely special not just with her photographs but with her presence. We love her, and for the photographical moments to come, she’s stuck with us :)

I honestly never write reviews for anything but what we received in return for hiring Carly as our photographer truly warrants writing a stellar review. I would tell anyone who is planning a wedding that hiring Carly as their photographer will be THE BEST decision you make without hesitation. My husband and I are both people who are seemingly uncomfortable getting our picture taken and I really did not want the pictures to come out looking unnatural. Looking through some of Carly's Instagram, I was confident that wouldn't be an issue. On our wedding day, Carly immediately made us feel so comfortable and she was able to capture pictures of us so authentically ourselves. The pictures truly reflect our personalities and emotions on that day to a TEE. Having these pictures now allows us to relive these memories over and over the rest of our lives. When we first started planning our wedding 2.5 years ago we both knew we needed Carly as a photographer. We loved her Instagram photos & vibe so much & pictured our own wedding photos through hers. Carly was extremely accommodating through it all- we ended up having to postpone twice because of Covid & she was there for us through all the stress of re-scheduling & changing so many things around. We eventually settled on a micro wedding & with only 1 month notice Carly locked in our new date & we were ecstatic. We both were so beyond happy with every single photo she took. She got photos that I didn’t even know I would want & ones I didn’t even know she was taking. Her presence on your wedding day is calm, cool and collected... she is truly a professional and knows exactly what she needs in order to create all of the moments you want to document from your day. Like so many couples this year, my (now) husband and I had to postpone our wedding as planned in Tuscany, Italy, due to the virus. Instead, we rallied, and planned a micro-wedding here in Boston. And the silver lining of it all was getting to meet and work with Carly. She is a true talent, with such a warm and calming presence. We had a short two hour time frame at our venue, yet Carly managed to capture so many special moments with ease. She kept us on schedule, helped rally family members, and posed us perfectly. And Carly brightened an already perfect wedding evening by sending us two preview pictures that very night. And we received our full gallery just one week after the ceremony. We were blown away by Carly's images. She captured timeless and romantic photographs that we will cherish for a lifetime. Her work is beyond stunning, she is the nicest person ever, goes above and BEYOND for her clients and her turn around time for photos is CRAZY FAST! We recently got married and due to the pandemic, we had to scale down our wedding and had an intimate micro-wedding with just family. Being a bride in a pandemic is extremely stressful, and plans were constantly changing, but Carly was always as cool as a cucumber, and was beyond go with the flow. When the wedding day came, Carly and Eva (her amazing associate) arrived with smiles, and put me right at ease . When our timeline got pushed back, Carly again remained so calm. She also helped put my veil on, carry my dress, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. Carly makes taking pictures fun and SO easy, she gives the best directions so you don't look or feel awkward. Our timeline for our day got pushed back once again, and Carly stayed an extra hour for us after she was supposed to leave just to be able to capture the father daughter/mother son dances. She is beyond dedicated to her clients and job. Carly even sent us a few pictures from our wedding THE NEXT DAY. It was incredible to already be able to relive those amazing moments. I could go on and on about how amazing Carly is, because she is amazing!! Do yourself a favor and BOOK CARLY! She truly is the best around

We worked with Carly for our recent wedding in June, as well as our engagement pictures last year and had an incredible experience. Carly quickly felt like a friend, and I felt comfortable texting or e-mailing her whenever I had a question or needed advice. This especially came into play when the pandemic hit, and she was a huge help as I made the difficult decision to postpone our large wedding. We were thrilled to still get married on our original date in a small intimate ceremony, where Carly captured our photos. Leading up to the day she was very professional, sending through the timeline via e-mail before and following up with a call to confirm everything. After watching the weather the night before, we moved up there ceremony by 2 hours to try and miss the rain that day, again, with Carly's help and advice! I really appreciated her flexibility and support during this very difficult time to plan a wedding. She kept us on schedule on the date, and the photos we ended up with were GORGEOUS. My family and I can't stop looking at them still and it's been 2 weeks. Her editing is so natural, yet makes everyone look flawless. I was also very impressed how quickly we got our photos back. Overall, I could not be happier with my decision to work with Carly for my wedding and would highly, highly recommend her!

Carly is an amazing photographer! We had our engagement session with her this past fall and couldn’t have been happier. Carly made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera and had great prompts for posing that made us look natural in the photos. When we received the photos, we were blown away. We got so many compliments on them and it was hard to pick just one to use for our save the dates. On top of that, Carly’s turnaround times are incredible! She sent sneak peeks within hours of our shoot and we received the rest of the photos just three days later. She is also super quick to answer emails and is really helpful with answering any questions when it comes to wedding planning. I would highly recommend Carly to anyone!

I'm fairly confident this review will come off like I (we're) obsessed with Carly but that's OK with us. Let me start by saying that we already knew we loved Carly's work because she photographed my sister's wedding 3 years ago...BUT even with these high expectations going into it, we were still completely blown away. My husband basically put his request for Carly to be our photographer into his proposal. She was one of the first decisions we made and definitely one of the best. Going back to our "fall" engagement shoot.. a pretty awful 93 degree OCTOBER day in Boston, Carly made all these photos somehow have that cool fall weather feeling we wanted. In reality, all of our clothes were stuck to our bodies. She sent us teasers ON OUR DRIVE HOME that day! Having never really been in front of a camera together before, at first we felt awkward and uncomfortable. Carly was able to pick up on this and very quickly made us feel relaxed, giving us really easy to follow directions and making the whole experience so much fun (seriously we laughed throughout the entire shoot). Carly also came out to look at our venue with us a few months before our wedding. I had been driving myself crazy trying to find the best location for our first look (somewhere else in town), which would have added a bit of time and chaos to the wedding day. Carly took one look our venue, The Lace Factory, and assured me that this would be the best spot and to not create any unnecessary complications in the logistics for that day. I am so glad we listened to her because those pictures are not only some of our favorites, but as it was we already did not have enough time in the day. Carly is so much more than a photographer. Throughout the whole process I was able to go to her for guidance and trust her with things that weren't even her responsibility. For example, I was texting her while trying to decide on the dress colors and order of my bridesmaids for her opinion on what might look best in pictures. I was texting her a few days before the wedding asking what shade of blue jean jacket to buy. She was my go to for so many decisions. During photos at the wedding, she turned to me and said "we can do this picture here with this backdrop or we can do it angled this way." I literally responded, "You know my answer." which was that I trusted whatever she thought was best. Carly sent us wedding teasers the day after the wedding which was such a nice surprise. Just when that "the big day is all over" sadness started to creep in, she was texting me telling me how many beautiful pictures she had captured and how excited she was for me to see them. It made me excited all over again! The most insane part is that she delivered our entire gallery two weeks after the wedding!! So many people reached out to us when we first shared some pictures to say how beautiful they were and that they should be in a magazine. I don't think a day has gone by that I haven't gone back to look through the pictures. We tried our best to be present throughout the day but it is overwhelming and goes by so fast! Carly captured moments I don't even remember experiencing and I love that we can relive our wedding day through her pictures over and over again. I would recommend Carly to anyone. She is the absolute best!!!

I found Carly and was absolutely in love with her photographs. Unfortunately, Carly was unavailable for our wedding day BUT she had the option of using her associate team. I was hesitant at first but Carly reassured me that she trusted her team to do an amazing job on my wedding day. I loved her work so much that I went ahead and booked her. Carly was with us every step of the way and was always timely in her emails and making sure we had a realistic timeline of our wedding day. I worked with Jeremy and Eva and they were amazing! I highly recommend Carly as a photographer and using her associate team if she is already booked. The photographs were beautiful and candid which I loved. Carly edited all of the photographs and made sure to give us a preview and get our full gallery back incredibly quickly. I have nothing but good things to say about Carly and her associate team!

I am so grateful to Carly for our AMAZING wedding photographs! My husband and I do not consider ourselves photogenic, in addition we ended up getting a nor’easter on our wedding day – so Carly had her work cut out for her but she captured the day perfectly and made it seem easy the entire time! She is a true professional with incredible talent. Our experience with Carly started with engagement photos and I was truly blown away when she sent us a sneak peak literally that night and the full album just days later! My husband and I could not believe how incredible the pictures were (again we are not the most photogenic!) I thought taking the pictures would be awkward but Carly put us totally at ease, we had a lot of fun and the silly poses she suggested (like a piggy back ride which we would never do in real life lol) ended up being my FAVORITE pictures! My advice is to just go with whatever she suggests, she truly knows what she is doing! For the wedding day Carly suggested a second shooter, it was a bit more expensive but in the end totally worth it. I cannot say enough about how equally amazing Carly’s associate was, our groomsmen even came up to me and said how great she was and how much fun they were having taking the pics with her – when have groomsmen actually enjoyed taking wedding pictures?! I am in the wedding industry so I have been familiar with Carly’s work for many years and I am so happy that I was able to work with her for own my own wedding. Capturing all the little details (ceremony programs, place cards, centerpieces, etc.) was really important to me which I let Carly know and she got so many incredible shots for me. In the end my husband and I ended up with the perfect collection of photographs – amazing room and detail shots, great formals and group shots that show how much fun our friends and family had that day and of course so many beautiful portraits of the two of us. What can we say about Carly! Carly surpassed every expectation we had for our wedding photographer. From the second we contacted her she was professional, kind and genuine. We decided to do engagement photos to get used to being in front of the camera. We had no idea what to expect, and she blew us away with her talent. Pre-planning for our wedding Carly was amazing. She planned out every detail according to our timeline. Carly had already organized a list of every picture she could foresee that we wanted and then allowed us to do more options, not having to worry about all of our family, bridal party photos etc. was such a relief, with all of the other planning and such a large wedding party/families. We were set on our first look being at our ceremony, which did not give us a lot of time for pictures before the sunset. Carly and her second photographer did an amazing job in such a short time, we have so many options to choose from and they allowed us to do plan our wedding the way we had wanted it to be. We had a sneak peak within days and all of our pictures by the time we got home from our honeymoon. To sum up Carly's work, my father in law put it best when he looked at the photos, "she captured every emotion of the day".

We had a wonderful time working with Carly for our wedding in Hingham, MA this past October. Carly was very available and kept in touch with us leading up to the wedding. On the day of, Carly was professional and organized, and she made us feel so relaxed while taking pictures. Before flying out the next morning for our honeymoon, she already had sent a handful of beautiful photos and the rest of the gallery was sent within ~3 weeks (so quick!). We were thrilled with how the pictures came out!!! We feel that she perfectly captured every moment of our day and we loved literally all of the pictures. This will by far be the best decision you make, and we cannot be more thankful for Carly and her incredible talent! To start, she is a breath of fresh air and her energy makes your feel completely comfortable. We first met Carly for our engagement photos we were so nervous to take. My fear was we would feel “posed” or stiff... this was the complete opposite of what our session was. We laughed, we jumped around and danced, we had so much FUN and the pictures blew us away! Carly Michelle is an incredible photographer! I knew before I got engaged that I wanted to hire Carly for my wedding, she was the first vendor that I booked. Carly is a pro and knows exactly how to navigate throughout the day and work with your other vendors. On my wedding day I was very nervous, cold, and it was VERY windy out. From the looks of my photos you would never know. Carly is able to capture you in a way that is extremely authentic, you can really feel the joy in her photos. My photos are so incredible I can't decide which ones to print! I highly recommend Carly.

The one thing I knew I wanted for my wedding was an amazing photographer because pictures mean so much to me and Carly did not disappoint! I knew when we did the engagement shoot in 98 degree weather on one of the most humid days last summer that I made the right choice. She made us feel so comfortable and not awkward at all. My husband who strongly dislikes taking pictures even said he actually enjoyed it! I was really stressed and overwhelmed the day of the wedding and Carly's personality made me feel at ease (she even put my veil in for me and took it out after ceremony!) We got our wedding gallery super quick (2 weeks after wedding- 1,600 photos!) which is a mega plus for me because many people I've known that got married have waited at least 5 weeks. We fell in love with every single one of our photos, they are incredible and she really captured everything perfectly! She even whisked us away at sunset to ensure we had time together a couple. For brides planning their wedding I have two pieces of unsolicited advice - one, the day goes by fast, so enjoy the little moments, and two - HIRE CARLY!!!! We do a lot of things for wedding that don’t matter in the long run, but the pictures really do. And with Carly you know your photos are going to come out amazing. She was an absolutely joy to work with. From the moment we first talked I could tell she was professional but relatable and she really got my vision. The day of she gave clear direction, especially to my now husband who wasn’t as comfortable in front of a camera, and you could tell she’s done this many times before. The pictures in our professional gallery showed she was engaged and getting fantastic shots all night. Honestly I’m a huge fan of her work, we were thrilled with everything, and will happily recommend her to anyone.

Carly was such a joy to work with for my wedding! She is extremely personable and professional, and made me feel at ease even during the most chaotic moments of the day. Hands down THE BEST wedding photographer. My husband and I planned for a long engagement so that we could get the vendors we really wanted. Carly was recommended to us not just once, but twice! After seeing her work, we knew she was the right photographer for us. We researched so many Boston area photographers and in my opinion, there is no one that has Carly's talent. She captures the natural moments - laughing, loving, embracing... these are the moments you want to remember. None of the photos look or felt too posed or unnatural. She is so talented in capturing REAL emotions. She goes above and beyond to get the perfect photos for you and your spouse. During our engagement shoot, Carly trudged through wet, tall grass and didn't think twice about it! Leading up to the wedding, she made sure the day of schedule was timed out perfectly and was in open communication with us. She really became more than "a wedding vendor" - she became a friend. During our wedding day, she made sure we stayed on schedule - which can be really hard with so much going on. She also helped me with my veil, my shoes, my dress... she was basically the "silent" bridesmaid of the day. She also makes sure she gets tons of shots of the details of your wedding. This is amazing to see since the day goes by so fast - its wonderful to relive all of the planning coming together! She sent our pictures the day we got back from our honeymoon. AMAZING. Some photographers take up to 2 months to get your photos back to you but Carly makes sure she is timely. When our guests and friends saw our pictures, the reaction was appropriate - many "OMG" "WOW" and "SO BEAUTIFUL" comments were made! If you are looking for someone who is just as invested as you are in your wedding day, look no further. I wish she did more than just weddings because I would hire her again in a heartbeat for any occasion.

Carly was super easy to work with and very responsive and accommodating. My husband and I planned a small 30 guest count wedding. We originally booked 2 of Carly’s associates to photograph our day but once she realized how small the event really was she offered us an extra hour of coverage for only one photographer. She assured us we wouldn’t miss any shots and she was absolutely right! We got all of our edited photos less than 2 weeks after our wedding and they were all beautiful! Her associate Jeremy was very professional, kind, and fun to work with. My husband and I both agreed he was one of our favorite vendors from the entire day- and we had great vendors all around! I highly recommend booking Carly or one of her associates for your wedding day. You will not be disappointed!

Carly is incredible. We have been friends for years and having her photograph my most special day was amazing. She was so professional while making me feel as comfortable as possible!! My gallery is everything I hoped it would be and I am so myself in every picture I can’t stop looking at them. Her second photographer, Jeremy, was also a dream! He put up with my wild husband and his band of hooligans so well and as I said - we CANNOT stop looking at the photos!! I would recommend Carly ten times out of ten! My husband and I never thought we would find a photographer that we would love and trust for our wedding. We both work with images and can be very critical and quick to find imperfections with photos. Just when I thought I would never find the right wedding photographer I luckily found the portfolio of Carly Michelle. Immediately I was impressed and contacted her. Since the beginning Carly was always extremely prompt in returning phone calls and emails. Before the wedding Carly was very organized in setting up an appropriate time line and arrived on time on the wedding day. Carly has an eye for detail such as making sure the bridesmaids had taken off their apple watches and taking off shawls for the pictures. I love how Carly gave us a couple of wedding photos the next day and our portfolio was completed after two weeks of the wedding! The portraits are beautiful of encompassing landscape while maintaining the focus of individuals in the photos. My only regret is we did not find Carly sooner to do our engagement session. Wow- where to even begin? How about the moment Carly sent me a few pictures from my wedding the next day while I was with my family, reminiscing about the night. My mouth literally dropped when I saw the photos. I was so proud to show everyone these pictures that looked straight out of a magazine! I have never felt more happy on my wedding day and she captured this in the photos like I couldn’t believe. During a phone consult before the wedding, Carly calmly and confidently reassured me that it would be done without a hitch and that I had nothing at all to worry about. From there, she made a schedule for the day and said not to worry about groups- she would figure it all out. A True Professional. The day of, she organized group photos and kept a chaotic cheery wedding party together for gorgeous shots. Carly, to my surprise as I didn’t think of it at the time or think time would allow, took pictures of me and each bridesmaid individually along with my husband and each groomsman- this is something we are so grateful for and will treasure forever.
