Carmen, owner & lead photographer of Carmen Ash Photography, has been a professional wedding and portrait photographer since 2002. In 2006, Carmen met her husband at a wedding, she was the photographer and him the videographer. It was love at first site (literally and it's an awesome story) and in 2008 they were married! It wasn't too long afterward that Carmen pulled Caleb away from video and into stills. They are now an energetic, talented and fun photography husband and wife team. Their mission is to provide timeless, sentimental, and high quality images that will last a lifetime! To offer excellent customer service and quality albums, prints, and framing. Most importantly, to connect with their clients and develop long friendships.

Carmen and Caleb were so great, and we love our wedding pictures! We did an engagement shoot with Carmen first to get to know her, and then had them both at the wedding. They were on time, easy to work with, very quick with a large group and made the day so fun. The pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!

How do you even begin summing up Carmen and Caleb? They're quite simply, the BEST. Their photography is stunning, but beyond that, they're two of the most genuine, joyful people you'll ever meet. My husband and I are both writers who love collaborating, and we love seeing another creative couple who absolutely loves working together. From the very first meeting to our current process of designing an album, we can't speak highly enough of these two. They captured our event from start to finish, and were chock full of ideas about different venue spots and poses to try. As someone who doesn't always love formal shots, I have to say they are now some of my all-time favorite photos. All in all, from the posed to the candids, my husband and I are genuinely thrilled at the prospect of looking back on these moments for the rest of our lives.

Carmen and Caleb were incredible to work with! They made both my husband and I feel extremely comfortable. They understood the importance of making our wedding day fun and enjoyable. We were relaxed and laughing the whole time. They were well prepared and the entire day ran smoothly. There were thoughtful and professional in every interaction they had with both us and the wedding party! I would recommend them to anyone! They made our special day one we will never forget tanks to the memories captured!

Carmen and her husband are amazing! Mother nature was not nice to use on our day but it didn't matter as Carmen made everything work and got some amazing shots! She is very easy to get a hold of. She helped us with our timeline in order to get all the pictures we wanted. Her turnaround time is extremely fast! All of the pictures came out amazing!

Carmen is amazing. She is so personable and efficient with her time. Our engagement session lasted about 2 hours and we went to different locations in Mt. Pleasant, and Sullivan's Island. Carmen is extremely easy to get in touch with and explains everything very clearly. I loved our engagement photographs and am anxiously awaiting our wedding proofs. I would highly recommend working with Carmen. She is worth the price!

Carmen Ash Photography went above and beyond my expectations in all areas. The staff are courteous, accommodating, punctual, and eager to have fun throughout the whole process. The pictures are unique yet elegant and the greatest moments were captured. I would recommend this company a million times over!

Not only is Carmen amazingly talented as a photographer, she's also great to work with. She brought my SHY husband out of his shell & was great with all of the attendants, including my 2-year-old nephew. She was very committed to getting great photos not only on the wedding day but earlier in the year when we came for engagement photos. I couldn't believe my eyes when our engagement photos came. I'd never seen my husband and I look so in love. I usually don't like pictures of myself, but I look beautiful in Carmen's pictures. She's great!! Extremely professional, reliable, etc.

I starting looking at photographers right after I got engaged because pictures were one of the most important things to me about our wedding. I love looking at pictures over & over again and I knew my wedding pictures needed to be fabulous. From the second I met Carmen I absolutely loved her. She's young, full of energy, and loves to try new things. I wanted someone who wouldn't take me to all the same "Charleston" locations but look for new places - and she did just that. I don't have enough words to express how wonderful Carmen was to work with. I would strongly recommend her to any bride who's looking for a very talented photographer, who makes you feel comfortable, and who makes you feel as beautiful as you should on your wedding day!
