She and her assistant for the day of our wedding did such a stellar job of capturing the moment just right during the various phases of our wedding. In seeing all of the photos, I was a bit surprised by how extensive her coverage of the event was as she and her assistant were so stealth in their photo-taking abilities. They were obviously present but very inconspicuous, which was great. And Carmen really did her research on our wedding venue and surrounding area. By our wedding day, she had some truly ingenious spots picked out in and around our wedding locale that afforded us some strikingly terrific portraits. And her calm and gentle nature put us at ease in order to get some adorably candid shots. Overall, we were very pleased to work with Carmen, we relish our wedding photos, and as you can see from the photos on her website her amazing work product speaks for itself.

On the day Carmen and her second shooter were lovely: very helpful (even helping put on boutonnieres) and also got through all our formal shots nice and quickly so we had time to chat to our guests. en other photographers would do. She was a bit shy at first, but we could tell that she was very passionate about photography and she was open to our suggestions and feedback. We felt like Carmen was at the beginning of a very successful career and we wanted to go with someone who was enthusiastic and had a lot of potential, rather than someone well known with a big ego. Carmen was a great fit! We even did an engagement photo shoot to make sure we were comfortable working with her and she did not disappoint. She took us to a spot near Half Moon Bay that we had never been and scouted out the area before hand. It was stunning! The pictures were beautiful and it was easy to be ourselves around her. My husband even made a few requests on specific poses and she was happy to oblige. She captured the exact feel that we were going for classy and romantic in natural surroundings. The day of the wedding Carmen was great. Her assistant took photos of the groom and groomsmen and one location and Carmen came over to the house we were getting ready at. Once we got to the wedding venue she already had scoped out where she wanted to photograph us and helped to keep me on schedule. At one point I was hungry and feeling a bit ill and her assistant got me some snacks- which was really sweet and way beyond her scope of work. The whole bridal party enjoyed working with her. She let us be a bit wild, but still kept us on track time wise. Carmen was calm and friendly and worked seamlessly with the other vendors and our large wedding party. When we got the photos back we were in awe how she managed to capture so many special and fun moments of the evening. She not only took photos of us, but took so many great photos of our guests. It was like we could experience the event from their point of view. Our friends and family love the photos. Carmen was able to capture the beautiful lighting and surroundings. One of my friends even said the lighting looked so perfect it was like we were in the movies. Thank you so much Carmen for capturing this most special day and all of our crazy friends and family. I've never really cared about pictures but I can't stop looking at them! The only thing I would change if I could would be to also have video of the ceremony, toasts and first dances. Carmen was a steel! She provided better customer service then those who charge twice the amount and her pictures are of equal quality. We will be recommending Carmen to all of our friends and will use her in the future for other special occasions.

Her manner is very relaxed and easygoing, which makes it a lot easier to relax around her to get as many natural shots as possible. On our wedding day, she and her second shooter were discreet and yet still managed to capture some wonderful moments. We are very happy that Carmen was the photographer for our wedding; we will treasure these photos for a long time.

Carmen was relaxed and she did a great job of putting me at ease and asking me the key questions about my day. She really took the time to get to know my husband and me ahead of our wedding through calls, emails and over coffee. When it came to the day I felt totally relaxed and many of my wedding party commented on what a good job Carmen and her photography assistant did of making sure they were there for every key moment yet didn't feel intrusive. She is very professional yet relaxed which to me is a great combo. Most of all, I am very very happy with my wedding photos (which I guess is the most important thing!). Carmen was able to really capture the relationship I have with my husband and we both have with our families though her photos and reviewing the photos was like re-living the wedding again but with time to notice all the little details I missed along the way!
