She sent us a little welcome package and did other thoughtful little things along the way. And, above all else, y’all, our photos are just so unbelievably, incredibly, stunningly gorgeous - I don’t even have the words to describe how much we love them. I have major body image issues, and I can’t tell you how scared I was that I would look back on my wedding photos and feel blah about myself….couldn’t be farther from the truth. I think anyone would LOVE working with her, but especially if you’re a plus-size bride like me or aren’t feeling confident about yourself/nervous in front of cameras, you should definitely book with her. If any part of your day includes natural light, you also absolutely need to book with Carmen. We had an outdoor reception…she is just an absolutely magician with light - she even managed to make our pics in the dressing rooms at the Little Chapel in the Woods look amazing (if you’ve been back there, you know how awful those fluorescent lights are). Carmen had a generous set of preview pics returned to us so soon after our big day that our families were still in town to look through them together, and the rest of the album was finished well within the time she quoted us. 10000/10 would recommend!

both felt at home and were able to convey what our vision was with ease. Her quirky but down to earth personality helped us be ourselves at all times when we were in front of the camera. Her organizational skills also were creative but easy to follow and understand. Whether it was a certain pose in front of the camera lens, planning out a timeline, or just a little idea we had the very day of the wedding, she was able to put them all into motion. Overall, both myself and my husband Mark strongly encourage anyone to use Carmen for any kind of outstanding life event. Back when I was going through and trying to decide who to use as our photographer, deep down I was drawn to Carmen. Seeing her outstanding work, I could see that she has a genuine heart and wants to capture the best moments in a person's life. Thank you so much Carmen!
