I’ve been apart of the hospitality industry since age 14 in my families Mississippi Cafè. To friends and family who know me, it’s no suprise I’ve developed a career in this field. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to Carmen and her team for their incredible service during our wedding! We hired Carmen and her team for catering and bar services.
From the moment we reached out, Carmen was not only responsive but also incredibly accommodating, especially considering our tight timeline (for the wedding day and for days leading up to wedding). Carmen’s commitment to working with our budget while still delivering an outstanding experience exceeded all our expectations.
From our very first meeting, it was clear that Carmen genuinely cared about making our day special. She took the time to understand our vision and preferences, and helped us craft a menu that not only fit our budget but also left our guests raving about the food!!! Also, everyone couldn’t stop commenting about how the bars (we had 2 set up) NEVER had a line! With an attendance of 180 guests I think that’s sayin something! Everything was really just such a hit.
On the day of the wedding, the team arrived early and set everything up seamlessly. They even offered to move our chairs from the ceremony location to the reception location (ceremony was outside and reception was inside). Like what!? This saved us so much money in rentals and we were so grateful. I remembered reading other people’s reviews about how she and her team go above and beyond & I can say that is every bit of true!!
If you’re looking for a caterer who is not only talented but also genuinely invested in your event, I wholeheartedly recommend her!!! Can’t thank them enough! <3

Although we were unable to use Ms Carmen for our wedding we really enjoyed meeting with her. Carmen was willing to work with our schedule and accommodate meeting in person. She went through every detail with us explaining and showing us exactly how the pricing with guest count worked.
When we informed Ms Carmen we were thinking of cooking ourselves she was more than happy to give us advice on planning and budget friendly ideas. I felt so much better after meeting with her. Carmen offers many services and works around all your accommodation needs. I would recommend her to any bride looking for catering.

Carmen and her team did an amazing job on bar service and catering for my wedding! The food was delicious and her team even helped with setup and decorating as well. Carmen was also super helpful at establishing a budget and working with me on that as well and was very easy to get in touch with to answer questions. Definitely would recommend her team for any event!

We did not opt to use this caterer, only because we found a different caterer who was more in our price point; however, i feel like to communication, professionalism, and menu offerings provided by Carmen’s Cafe were phenomenal! Carmen was extremely personable, very thorough, and worked with us extensively to try to tailor the menu to our dietary and financial needs. I was extremely impressed with her! I will definitely keep her in mind for future catering needs!

I planned my wedding in Mississippi while living in Boston, and working with a caterer based in Louisiana could have been a challenge—but thanks to Carmen's Cafe it was one of the easiest parts of the whole process.
From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive and helpful. No matter the time or question, she got back to me right away, which made a huge difference when coordinating from out of state. Her menu offered such a great variety of delicious options, and she worked with us to create something that fit our vision and our guests perfectly.
When the big day finally came, her team was phenomenal—professional, organized, and so warm to everyone. The food was a huge hit, and everything ran so smoothly. I’m really grateful to have worked with someone so reliable and talented, especially from a distance. I can’t recommend her enough!

I chose Carmen’s Cafe to cater my daughter’s Sweet 17 party after reading their excellent reviews and they did not disappoint! Carmen is exceptional-professional, easy to communicate with, accommodating and very detail oriented.
The food was just delicious and the presentation was beautiful. She even helped me with having all white serve ware for the food to match the color scheme.
Also-I was a little concerned that they wouldn’t be so receptive to catering a party for only 20 girls, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well I was received. Carmen and her assistant could not have been better and I highly recommend them! Everyone loved the food and they made a beautiful event so easy on me!!

Carmen and her team were AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend. They provided all alcohol, mixers, flutes, napkins/linens and all glassware for the wedding.
We ran out of vodka and Carmen ran to get more and was back in 5 minutes to save the day! They made sure there was always my favorite drink in my hand and we did not have to worry about a thing. I cannot say enough great things about them!!!! Thank you <3

Carmen’s crew was amazing! Very professional, extremely helpful, and had everything taken care of. Coordinating with Carmen was a breeze & she took so much stress away from what can sometimes be a stressful situation. We even threw out some new ideas with less than a week out from the wedding and they were able to accommodate everything just fine. I’d recommend Carmen’s to anyone looking for a wedding bartending service or just any event in general.

Carmen is nothing but sweet, kind, and understanding. She is super budget friendly and will definitely work with you if you need to stay within range. That being said, her food is also just incredible and overall just an amazing vendor. She definitely made my wedding day all the more amazing with her food and service.

I would definitely recommend for any event! Carmen was very accommodating for my wedding in a very remote location with no phone reception. The bartender was outstanding and even took the time to show me how to make my wife’s favorite drink.

We booked Carmen’s Cafe for my daughter's bridal shower. They were very professional and great communicators. Carmen was really helpful with her suggestions for the food menu and it was absolutely priceless to me that she knew the venue well, as she had worked with them many times. I live out of state and had booked Carmen’s Cafe through a suggestion from the venue. She had two ladies on the day of the event to help set up, clean up and serve.
Both ladies ShaDonna and Lexy were excellent, I would highly recommend Carmen’s Cafe for your event. The food was delicious and professionally displayed. I can’t thank them enough.

Even though we didn't end up needing their services, Carmen was SUPER attentive and responsive. She talked me through everything I need before sending over the quote. Once we received the quote, she was extremely reasonable with pricing. Sad we didn't end up need them, but would 100% recommend!

I hired Carmen for my company’s Spanish Town Parade event (kind of last minute). She was quick to provide ideas and solutions that I hadn’t thought of in the past and worked closely with the other vendors I had hired. When her and her crew showed up they worked hard and looked happy doing it. I’m looking forward to what she comes up with for next year’s event because I’m definitely calling on her again. On February 10, 2024 she had approximately 500 very happy customers.

Carmen’s Cafe Catering was a 5 star plus!!! Carmen was wonderful! So responsive and stayed in touch after we confirmed the menu which she was a big help in coordinating. The best part was the food that everyone commented on. It was a big hit at the bridal shower with 50 guests. Thank you Carmen!!!

Carmen was absolutely amazing for my last minute wedding. We desired an intimate and private wedding and with Carmen’s experience and knowledge just that was acheived. With close communication Carmen made sure not a detail was missed so that the day of could run as smoothly as possible. Her crew handled everything from rental delivery, setup, bartending, waitstaff, cake cutting, breakdown, clean up, trash haul off, and much more. You name it Carmen can do it! And all for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much Carmen my day would not have been complete without you and your team.

I would recommend Carmen’s Cafe to anyone that needs any event organizing materials like supplies or bartending staff. The prices are on the more expensive side but compared to their competitors (especially with their level of detail, professionalism, and organization) it is well worth the price. I wasn’t able to book them for their bartending services due to my issue resolving itself, but from the time I spent having conversations with the owner about my event and the estimate for their services I can tell that they love what they do and are willing to go the extra mile for any customer.

Carmen was an amazing part of our day. She was responsive, attentive, and supportive as we planned our big day. I wanted a coffee and tea station since we had a brunch wedding theme (started at 11 am) and thought it would be way too difficult to accomplish but she assured me it was doable and not to worry and she did! (I've been trying to upload pictures but it won't let me for some reason but TRUST ME everything was beautiful)
I cannot thank her enough for making sure everything we needed from napkins, coffee cups, to the alcohol itself was taken care of. It was a pleasure working with her and thank you again for going above and BEYOND (you all have no idea haha) for our wedding.

We couldn’t recommend Carmen though!! Her bar service was the best and so stress free. She is the sweetest and works well with you to make sure your wedding day is the best! We had Tyler & ShaDonna for our bar service and they sure knew how to make everyone have a great time!!! 10/10 recommend using them!!! Such a easy process and they showed up early got everything organized and was ready to go!
