Absolutely amazing venue!! I do no have a single bad thing to say at all. Cathy was absolutely wonderful through the entire process and the day of. The staff was amazing and the entire venue was beautiful. The rain had us change ceremony sites but they still made sure everything was perfect! I 100% recommend this venue! Food was great, drinks were great and the reception was beautiful.

Amazing is not even the word that we can describe our experience for our special day. Cathy and staff were absolutely wonderful. They listened to our wants and needs and accommodated our family, friends and especially us. Cathy guided us through the entire process and our day went flawlessly. The food was outstanding and even gave us leftovers to make sure we ate. The inside was magical and was more than we could have ever expected. The inside is homey and romantic and the lighting and ambiance makes it so special. My husband and I were so overjoyed by the entire experience. We highly recommend this venue.

I couldn’t be happier with our venue selection! Not only was this venue on budget, and handled almost everything (we hired photographers and a DJ), but it was so beautiful. Cathy was so pleasant to work with and really seemed to care about our big day. All the staff were friendly and helpful as well. We received so many compliments from our guests about both the beauty and overall event. Would highly recommend.

Carmen's Country Inn is such a picturesque venue. The landscaping is so well done you could have your wedding in multiple different spots! There's a beautiful waterfall, a breathtaking pagoda with greenery covering, an open pavilion where we got married and more options. Scenery for an outdoor wedding was an important decision when choosing a venue, and Carmen's was the best decision. Our wedding host Cathy and her staff did a wonderful job setting up our wedding decor. All of the servers were kindly accommodating and professional. The whole day went smoothly. Cathy was a delight to work with and did a great job organizing and making sure our wedding guests and party had a wonderful day!

This venue was a dream. We couldnt have been happier with the atmosphere, staff, and food. It was all absolutely perfect and we couldn't recommend them enough.

I just had my wedding at Carmen’s Country Inn and Gardens, I love their venue, it’s so green and flowery and beautiful. They’ve done a lot of work on the hall and it blew my guests away. I wanted a place that was comfortable and had all the amenities to throw a big party but also rustic, and woodsy similar to where I grew up in Poconos and where my husband and I met in Penn State and Carmen’s was the perfect spot to fill all of that criteria. We were married under the gazebo with their waterfall in the back of us and it was perfect. We were able to have bar tenders at the bar to the side to serve guests as they arrived, so really the party began even before the ceremony started, this was a unique benefit of the venue and several people complimented on how much fun they had from start to finish. Every area of the place got full use from our guests, including the cigar deck, the two dance floors and the indoor and outdoor bar. I also really liked that we had the whole venue to ourselves and there is ample parking and it’s conveniently located close to hotels in the area. Our photos came out amazing with all of the greenery there and we were able to get some shots of golden hour amongst the trees on the property. Several people complimented us on the food, we had some dietary restrictions from allergies, religious reasons, etc.. and we ended up having five entrée choices. All of the food was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also opted to have the chocolate fountain and Venetian table of pastries in addition to the cake and everyone loved the assortment especially the little ones. It was so sweet, my little cousin Teddy exclaimed “that cake is so beautiful!” when it came time for us to cut the cake so hopefully that gives some perspective on the decorating skill there. Aside from the great food, the beauty and all of the amenities of the location, the main reason I went with Carmen’s was the coordinator there, Cathy. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything on our special day. Her quick responses and attention to detail were such a big help in what is already a stressful process that is planning a wedding, especially considering the challenges that COVID presented which forced us to re-schedule our date so ultimately I was in contact with Cathy over 2 years to make the wedding I wanted a reality. Cathy really worked with us and I’ll always be grateful for that. That level of service stood out the most in our wedding venue search and I’m so happy we make the choice we did. I also appreciated that several things came standard at Carmen’s (chivari chairs, linens / tablecloths, catering) where other venues you had to coordinate all of that separately. One last point I’d like to highlight to close is an experience my stepmom made me aware of where she had requested Barefoot wine for the wine at the cocktail hour and reception and it wasn’t at the bar initially. The bartender actually went out to a liquor store close by to ensure we had what was requested. So I hope that gives helpful context on the experience you’ll have if you choose Carmen’s. It’s a local family run business and venue and we really appreciated the experience of working with them which I don’t think would have been possible if we had gone with a hotel venue or big hall where multiple events are going on at the same time.

The venue itself is stunning. It sits back off main roads surrounded by the outdoors. At Carmen's, the gardens outside were full of flowers and fountains. There was plenty of space and a multitude of benches for seating throughout the gardens. A large deck off of the main entrance overlooks the outside area from above. Inside the venue was up to date and monderized with decor and up-lighting. The main dining area was spacious. There is a small dance floor in front of the sweetheart table for the Mr and Mrs to share their first dance on in front of loved ones. This made that moment intimate and extra special. Carmen's provides a large dance floor along with a full service bar! It is also handicap accessible, including a bathroom, as this was extremely important for a few family members of mine. The food was excellent! Carmen's offered a wide selection of home made appetizers and entrees to choose from. Also, the portions were very filling! Carmen's provided our cake included in our wedding package and let's just say I had seconds, it was that good! Carmen's staff and services provided during the entire wedding were nothing short of amazing! Kindness and professionalism describe the staff at Carmen's. Everything was scheduled down to the minute and Carmen's did a fabulous job at keeping the guests happy! Carmen's stood out compared to other venues because of their secluded location, very reasonable pricing, and personable wedding coordinator, Cathy. As you know, not everything goes as planned on your wedding day. While placing the mothers corsages, both broke off the wrist bands. I panicked. Cathy remained calm, called the florist we used down the road, and a worker came and fixed both corsages in under 15 minutes! Also, my handicap grandfather's transportation was running late. Once again, I was panicking. Cathy once again remained calm, adjusted the entire wedding schedule, and we were able to wait those few extra minutes for my grandfather without any issues! I will be forever grateful for that. Carmen's country inn and gardens is THE venue to have your wedding at! I highly recommend as you will not be disappointed

If the beauty of the venue doesn’t knock your socks off, the service will! The waitstaff & bartenders the night of the event were spectacular. Cathy was extremely helpful start to finish. She answered every question I had & really went above & beyond to make our vision come to life. I was so worried about pulling everything together, but Cathy made sure we checked all the boxes from décor to meals to the rehearsal. You can tell she is very experienced & knows just what to do. Back to the beauty of this venue. We got married in October, & the surroundings are just beautiful. There are so many areas to get gorgeous shots of your special day! There are fountains & waterfalls & an open field with a beautiful backdrop of the trees. Inside is just as beautiful. The ceiling in the entryway is just beautiful. There is plenty of space to spread out your tables, 2 dance floors & a beautiful stone bar. The venue includes uplighting (can change to match your color scheme), & meals & cake are included in the price! This really stood out to us in our searches, as we didn’t have to hire a caterer &/or bakery. We also took part in a WeddingWire promo. with this venue, & got a free dessert table full of cookies, brownies & pastries! Everyone was pleased with the food & desserts all around! I really could go on & on. We were so thrilled with how our wedding turned out, & a lot of it had to do with the ease of working with Cathy & her wonderful team. We were very nervous, like I'm sure everyone is, about choosing a venue for our wedding. From the very start we felt like we were being treated as though it was the venue's own family having their wedding day. Kathy was amazing always answering our questions in a timely manner. I would expect days for answers but they came in hours if not minutes. The food was amazing not what you would expect for a wedding venue. The staff the day of the wedding was also amazing and very attentive. Kathy made us feel like it was her own daughter or son that was getting married. Everybody that came commented on how good the food and service was and how beautiful the venue was. There were some guests planning weddings and are going to look into Carmen's as well they liked it that much. I would highly recommend anyone to use Carmen's for any event you may have.

My husband and I had our wedding at Carmen's Country Inn and Gardens. It was absolutely beautiful, Cathy was absolutely amazing, so easy to communicate with. We could not ask for a better place to have our wedding. Strongly recommend.

This is a fantastic venue and so beautiful when there are leaves on the trees that it hardly needs any decorations! I had to book this venue sight-unseen since I was planning this wedding from out of state, but was so happy I did. This venue provides almost everything you need for a wedding (tables, chairs, linens, food, etc.) at a very good price. The only thing I needed to worry about was an officiant, DJ, flowers, photographer, and some other decorations/signs for tables, etc. The coordinator Cathy is very sweet, and made sure everything went well during the wedding. I was also impressed that this bakery knew how to make gluten-free food, and their gluten free carrot cake was amazing! My only difficulty was that the contract we signed wasn't super clear on some things, and sometimes we had confirmed details, and then had to reconfirm them because notes that were taken were lost, or a payment receipt was overlooked, etc. These things raised my stress levels, but turned out okay in the end. Basically, organization could have been a little better, but everyone has room to improve. I would have liked to give this place 4.5 stars, but unfortunately this platform won't let me do that :-(

First off, Cathy is AMAZING! This year has been so crazy with rescheduling weddings and I chose to reschedule my September wedding due to COVID. Cathy emailed me back every time the same day answering all of my million questions and kept me in the loop about everything. She truly wants your wedding to be perfect and does everything she can to help your vision come to life. Cathy helps set up, take down, and acts as a wedding coordinator making everything run smoothly! This venue is a hidden gem that is nothing like any other venue around. It is quietly tucked away on 14 acres of BEAUTIFUL gardens and waterfalls. My guests seriously were swept away and it felt like we were in a magical fairy forrest! I can't rave enough about how perfect my wedding was. We got married in front of an amazing waterfall while our band played above the waterfall under a covered walkway. Our band also played on the outside deck for the cocktail hour, which everyone loved while the hors d'oeuvres were served in the garden area. Our band then played inside for the reception, they had plenty of room to set up and get the party started! The food was also amazing. Cathy owns a bakery and made us the best cake ever! The chicken cordon bleu bites and bacon wrapped scallops were BOMB for appetizers and we had Chicken Francese and Steak Tips and Mushrooms in a burgundy wine sauce as our choices for plated dinner. My guests couldn't say enough good things about the food! Everything was perfect and I cannot wait for our pictures and video! I didn't even need a "photo booth" or back drop for guests to take pictures because there are SO MANY cool places to take pictures that are already there. Even the trees and waterfalls light up at night! I loved my wedding so much!

We just had our wedding at Carmen’s Country Inn & Gardens 3 weekends ago and could not have had a better experience. Owner Cathy was kind and courteous from the start and helped with so much, especially with all the crazy COVID things going on. She answered every single question we had with assurance and in a timely manner. She met with us on multiple occasions & called on the phone to go over any concerns we had in a timely manner. It was very generous of them to allow us to have our small wedding ceremony in the gardens a year prior during the middle of the COVID pandemic. Following COVID protocols of course. The reception one year later was absolutely fantastic. The staff members were super friendly and worked well together, as well as with our DJ and photographer. All of the food, from appetizers to our entree was excellent and our guests loved it. So many of our guests have told us that our wedding was one of the best weddings they have ever been to and we couldn't have pulled it all off without the help of Carmen's staff and Cathy. I could never thank you enough for making our day awesome! I definitely recommend Carmen’s Country Inn & Gardens to any and all future couples looking for the perfect venue for their big day.

Beautiful venue, but over all upset with everything The garden area is absolutely beautiful. My family and few friends came in the night before to setup the rest of the venue and ceremony site but only because I’m very ocd and I just wanted to make sure it was all perfect. I wasn’t given enough time to decorate everything and a few things I had brought including a backdrop that I paid hundreds for stayed packed away with a whole box of cylinders and candles hidden under a table. Another reason I have a lower score review was honestly because of the food quality, the small amount of time given to empty the venue after the wedding and the amount per plate that was charged for the quality of food that was received. We had ordered the prime rib and it came out flavorless, unappealing and cut so thin it looked like roast beef. We asked for an au jus sauce and it came out with a Arby’s style horseradish sauce. The mash potatoes were the most bland I’ve ever tasted and the vegetables looked like they came in a bulk bag, steamed and not an single flavor. The guests did say the chicken Marsala was good though. The appetizers were supposed to be bruschetta and chicken tenders and the tenders looked like chicken nuggets cut into pieces and drizzled bbq sauce and the bruschetta was not what was received. It was a very soggy overly loaded with oil piece of bread with marinara sauce, cheese and a black olive. Neither were good. Sandwiches that they provided due to covid restrictions with drinking were never given out and instead showed up at a table at the end of the night but I will say they were the best food the venue offered that night. At 80-100 a head for the food, we were surprised at the quality of the food. Cake was ok, but we didn’t ask for anything special. Last thing honestly is just that the wedding ended at 9 and we were given until 9:45 the same night to get out stuff out so there I was Wedding dress and all packing everything up and I’m very thankful for my family and friends for stepping in and getting it all done in that time frame because I had a lot of decor. Would also recommend WiFi, (the venue had no signal and we couldn’t even make any calls out) I know it’s an added cost but with everything being internet these days and many guests not able to come due to covid, it definitely would be a bonus to be able to live stream weddings for the family members that couldn’t make it. And helpful for the DJ and the music selection. Oh and one thing that didn’t occur to me until I was walking outside for my ceremony..they had setup tables outside for the cocktail hour and after dinner portion but the tables where close to the walkway so some guests sat there and not in the seats for the ceremony and that lead to ppl stepping in my way and in front of the photographer to take pictures 🤦🏻‍♀️ I wish the staff had put them further way.. No one from the venue announced or did anything with the guests to advise of cake cutting, intro..that was all my husband and I having to run to the dj to queue since he was told to setup outside so he didn’t have much direction or see what was happening. Update: after speaking to a few guests it’s a shock to know Cathy walked outside and waived at her clock right at 9 pm for everyone to leave and the DJ to cut the music. It’s sad to think my wedding day will be remembered like this. Cathy I’m sorry bc you have a beautiful venue but so much went wrong including guests not getting food. We are so disappointed

We had such a beautiful wedding ceremony at Carmen’s Country Inn & Gardens! Cathy is a lovely person & was great to work with. She has such a nice vibe. I wanted everything to be taken care of so we could just show up & enjoy the special occasion. Cathy anticipated our needs & took care of everything. The venue is so elegant, nicely furnished & beautifully decorated inside. As far as the outdoor space ... it is breathtaking. Our ceremony was held outdoors & we chose to have it under the trellis. The gardens were in full bloom. Waterfalls add to the charm. The 1st time we went to meet Cathy & tour the venue we passed a grassy meadow & a pond before we arrived at the front gate... I instantly fell in love with the country landscape. The grounds & outdoor deck are beautiful & spacious. We made adjustments to our wedding due to the current pandemic & Cathy has been flexible & understanding. We will wait to hold our reception until next June, when it may be safer for our family to gather. Cathy gave us a gift of a wedding cake & it was DELICIOUS. We found the prices very reasonable. We loved that no other events would he held there on our day & we’d have the whole place to ourselves. Thankful we found this gem!

Not only are there and less options for a great photo locations here, but the food was so good. Every single person at our wedding Couldn’t stop raving about the food. Cathy and her staff were so accommodating and warm and welcoming to us. They really made our fairytale dream come true and I can’t say enough good things about this venue.

Carmen’s Country Inn was the best choice that I made for my wedding. From the beginning, the communication with Cathy was seamless. As a bride and groom, we were planning our wedding on our own from across the country; and Cathy was an angel throughout the entire process. Every portion of food from appetizers, entres, sides, to deserts was spectacular. Guests were talking about the food for days (my friends are still drooling over the marshmallow icing marble wedding cake). The venue is breathtaking. I love being able to walk the beautiful gardens; and they were the perfect setting for photos. The indoor area is already so elegant that the decorations really only add to the beauty that already exists. The indoor venue also had the advantage of two dance floors (one in the dining area and one in its own separate area), a bar, and a cigar deck connected to the dance floor that allowed the guests easy access to leisurely relax outside. The most refreshing detail was the service. All of the waitstaff, bartenders, and Cathy made the experience wonderful from start to finish. The food was served promptly, we were never rushed or made to feel stressed, and the waiters even came outside with the appetizers to ensure that the bridal party received their hors d'oeuvres while taking photos. Last but certainly not least, out of all the venues that we researched Carmen’s had the entire package and was the most affordable. Especially planning my wedding from out of state, I really appreciated having the catering, the decorating, the linens, the cake all handled in one location. Carmen’s Country Inn and Gardens made my wedding a true dream come true.

Carmen's Inn was the perfect place for our wedding. Cathy (the go to person) was amazing. She corresponded via phone and email and always responded the same day. She was super accommodating with everything we needed. 100% satisfied!

The venue is absolutely pretty! The gardens and waterfalls are breathtaking, and the inside of the building is pretty as well. Works great regardless if you have an outdoor wedding or an indoor wedding. Food is absolutely delicious! Price is very reasonable considering they do so much (ceremony and reception, food, cake, tables and chairs, etc). Probably the best thing about the whole thing was Cathy. She was very organized, very helpful, and very nice. Promptly responded to all my questions I emailed her. She worked with me and my other vendors (pastor, photographers, DJ) to make my wedding day go as seamless as possible. She was even there on the day of the wedding to make sure everything went well. Excellent person to work with. I highly recommend her and her venue.

Cathy was very kind and attentive to our needs. She even rolled with adjustments day of and helped with a personal situation. Everything came together beautifully and we had a wonderful ceremony/reception. The venue is gorgeous and we got amazing photos. They also provide all the catering, which included delicious food options and an amazing cake.

Cathy, the coordinator, made everything for our wedding a walk in the park. This was the first and only venue that we visited and were sold immediately on the affordability of the venue as well as how beautiful the venue was inside and out. All of our guests raved about the food and the large portions they were given (the homemade manicotti was definitely a crowd favorite). Cathy was also very strong and assertive when directing all of the guests and bridal party during the rehearsal which I felt was very important as it is hard to get everyone to focus while still having a great time. To go further into all that Cathy did for us, when our ceremony ended 15 minutes earlier than was expected, she opened the bar for the cocktail hour earlier without any extra costs. Also, due to my poor math skills, I had planned to have all of my guests at the venue until 10pm when we only had the venue reserved until 9:30 pm. After all was explained to me I was, to be honest, a little bummed that the party would need to end early. Cathy was so empathetic and accommodating that she then gave us a fully open bar without further charges when we had originally ordered unlimited beer and wine and a signature drink. It was completely unexpected and unnecessary but truly was appreciated by every single guest in attendance. At the end of the day, my Husband and I would recommend this venue and Cathy's services to anyone and everyone who is looking for a magical and beautiful wedding. I got married on August 4, 2018. From the start Cathy was a wonderful help. She worked around my budget. I was able to get surf and turf and open bar that everyone loved. She helped me come up with a signature cocktail that matched my colors. We had fresh strawberry mojiots as our “signature drink”. My colors were pink and green. The steak was so delicious you could cut it with a butter knife. The cake was also included. I requested something special, a funfetti cake! It was gorgeous and delicious. Cathy and her staff were nothing short of amazing! They made me feel like a princess. The hall and the grounds were amazing! The dance floor was remodeled and there was new carpeting. I couldn’t have asked for a better day! I highly recommend Carmen’s and Cathy. You won’t be disappointed. Just disappointed about how fast your wedding day will go.

So I got married September 1 of this year at Carmen's at first when I met Cathy she was great and then we put the down payment for our wedding we did the food testing and right after that we started having problems she will always have some excuse about meeting us one time she met with us and rushed us out so the day of our wedding was crazy and the Rehearsal dinner don't even get me started she made me cry that's how bad it was. The day of the wedding I felt like she didn't want us there they were rude and Snobby if it wasn't for my family and friends I wouldn't have a good time and i would of walked out. I over heard them talking about how she doesn't rent to people like us that hurts. So everyone that text me or asked how it was and wanted more info about this place I said my Honest opinion don't go there and I told them why. If I could do my wedding again I would all over but some where else not there the Ceremony was beautiful but she also forgot to put our unity candles and a Candles for relatives who have passed away. I felt like she didn't care about anything but thanks to the people who love us we had a great time. One more thing that drove me crazy and my family found it so weird she sat there during throughout the whole thing like a security guard just Staring people down and looking down people she was really rude it was no need for that at all we where nice people we didn't leave a mess or went crazy.

My husband & I got to share the most perfect day with our guests thanks to Carmen's! As far as weather goes, there was a very good chance of it raining during the ceremony. Carmen's set up chairs inside & outside so that we could make the decision as to where we would be saving our vows when my bridal party & I arrived. Luckily, it turned out to be beautiful weather, but I thought it was so awesome that they went above & beyond for us! The food was absolutely delicious, we had so many compliments from guests on it. They allowed us to bring everything we wanted for the big day up before our rehearsal dinner, & just asked for instructions & they took care of setting up for us! Everything looked so beautiful in the gardens, & inside for the reception! Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere reasonably priced, green, beautiful, & just fantastic all together.

I had an amazing experience working with Cathy and her staff at my recent wedding. Primarily, as a bride, you want people to get back to you promptly with clear answers in regard to planning questions. Cathy did an amazing job at this; she was quick to get back to me with anything I make my vision a reality. As for the day of, Cathy made sure that me and my guests were well taken care of. I kept getting compliments on the beautiful venue as well as the food. The bar and waitstaff were also great. Finally, I have to make a point of how much great, quality service you get for an affordable price. I did extensive research on venues from New Jersey to all parts of Pennsylvania, and no one was able to beat Carmen’s pricing. Truly a great place to have a Country wedding!

Review of Carmen’s Country Inn and Gardens Our daughter’s recent wedding at Carmen’s Country Inn and Gardens in Drums, PA was SPECTACULAR due to the amazing personal service of Cathy, venue manager and wedding planner! From the first time we met to see the venue, through meal and cake testing, and finally the wedding rehearsal and the wedding day, Cathy helped in every way. She quickly responded to all of our emails throughout the process and assisted us in planning a beautiful fall outdoor wedding under a rustic natural canopy for over 80 guests. On the wedding rehearsal day we just dropped off all of our table centerpieces, our decorations, and our seating place cards. When we walked into the reception venue on the day of wedding, it had been magically transformed into a festive autumn atmosphere. Cathy had overseen everything down to the smallest detail, including a signature fall Caramel Apple Martini drink. The bartender and the serving staff were superb and the food -- cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres, the wonderful dinner entrees, and the wedding cake/cupcakes -- were all delicious! As our daughter’s nuptials was a bit of a destination wedding for us, it was so convenient to have a variety of wedding ceremony sites available on the same grounds as the reception (and great for the wedding pictures!), as well as being able to contract for the reception meal, the bar services and wedding cake all together in a single, affordable package. As a military family, we greatly appreciated Cathy’s efficiency and passion for setting up the dream wedding that my daughter and her husband had envisioned. She did such a great job of coordinating the DJ, the photographer and the wedding party; I was able to relax and enjoy the wedding! My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding experience. We fell in love with the grounds the moment we set foot on the property. That first impression was nothing compared to the actual beauty of our wedding day. The grounds were perfectly taken care of. The reception hall was beautiful with the rustic fireplace and bar, the fantastic mood lighting that fit our color scheme, and the great TWO dance floors. Every guest we have spoken to has told us how the venue perfectly captured the rustic beauty of the Poconos. The staff was also fantastic from start to finish. Throughout the entire planning process Cathy was friendly, accommodating and easy to work with. She quickly responded to any emails or questions we may have had. She made the tasting fun and enjoyable. And in the days leading up to the wedding she was extremely flexible and helpful. On the day of the wedding she made sure everything went smoothly. She helped coordinate with the photographers, djs, and officiant. The staff was also phenomenal. They set up the venue so that it was everything I had seen in my head and more. The guest tables, cake tables, and every other decoration was exactly how I envisioned it, as though they read my mind. The staff was quick, efficient and friendly. The food was amazing and the wedding cake provided by Carmen’s was absolutely beautiful and tasty. Overall our wedding was absolutely perfect and so much of that is because of Cathy and her team at Carmen’s Country Inn and Gardens.

We had an outdoor ceremony that I was honestly worried about having (first in the family to have a ceremony outside) When I got there on our special day, the place was perfect. Ms Cathy had returned everyone of my calls, was flexible as I had changed the colours for the wedding last minute. She exuded professionalism even I was being a bit of a groomzilla. Honestly, she should be considered for sainthood. Ok, maybe I'm still suffering from the high of having the best day of my life. My wife and I are vegans and Ms. Cathy was able to surprise us with amazing vegan food that we were both excited to share with our guests. This is the best place to have your wedding. Wow. Words cannot describe how wonderful our wedding was on Saturday. Ms. Cathy and the entire staff at Carmen's Country Inn were so attentive and helpful during the wedding and the entire time leading up to it. Ms. Cathy is so passionate about what she does and will ensure everything goes smoothly and perfectly. My husband and I would get married there again in a heart beat but since we can't we will have to settle for an anniversary. Such a Beautiful place. The waterfalls are breathtaking along with the grounds. Cathy was so wonderful in making our day special there. All of our guests were amazed this beautiful place is hidden in the mountains of Luzeren county.

Venue is beautiful... other than that look out. Extremely rude to my wife and I as well as our guests. After we posted a bad review before the wedding she threatened us that if we didn't take the review down we can't have our wedding here. The food was all messed up and didn't taste anything like the taste testing. She turned the lights off before we were done to rush us out. She yelled at my wife's mom... VERY DISSAPOINTED. Please do your research before choosing this venue.

Recently held our wedding reception at Carmen's Country Inn and Gardens, and I must say, we could not have gone with a better venue! The food was delicious, the set up was perfect, and we were treated with such magnificent service! A big Thank You to the Cathy and the people of Carmen's Country Inn and Gardens for taking such wonderful care of us!

We recently had our wedding at Carmens country inn and I honestly coulsnt say enough about the site, food, organization or professionalism! Cathy, our wedding planner, helped organize the entire night and made it completely stress free! As a bride, I did not have to worry about one thing that night! One of our entrees that night was a steak and guests repeatedly told us how amazing it was! Guests never had to wait for drinks. Anything we wanted, we got. I would highly recommend Carmens country inn to any couples loving the rustic/country style. It was the best night of our lives and like a dream come true!

I was a guest at a wedding and would decline attending any event there because of the way I saw her interact with the other vendors the bride hired. She yelled at the dj in front of guests and was all smiles to the bride and groom denying it when many witnesses were present. She should not be in this type of position she is rude and unprofessional and a liability to the facility

Cathy, the coordinator, is nothing short of amazing. Despite having so many events to look after, when you're talking to her about your event, she is yours. I never once felt like we were "just another wedding." The venue itself is positively beautiful - set in among the trees with two several fountains, a gazebo, a trellis - you can take countless of GORGEOUS pictures here and never have to move more than 20 feet from where you're standing to take the next shot. The food at Carmen's is so delicious and the variety is unparalleled. You don't have to pick and choose certain appetizers or a set number of pieces of each appetizer - you get them all! And dinner portions were huge - we talked to every guest (we went around table to table) and they all said the same thing - they barely had room for cake! (Which, by the way, was also wonderful!) We had such a blast at Carmen's - no request was too big or too small, the wait staff was helpful and friendly, the food and drinks were delicious from start to finish, and the venue (inside and out!) is just beautiful. Not to mention the cost was VERY reasonable for the kind of service you get - it was definitely one of the less expensive venues we looked at, but we got so much more than any other place we went to. If you're wedding isn't at Carmen's, you're paying too and not getting nearly enough for your money.

Pros: Food was great. Wedding was beautiful. Ceremony was outside in front of the fountain at no additional cost. Open bar. Deck to hang out on. Plenty of outside room for guests to mingle. Cake was delicious. The wedding was great overall. Cons: Spent 6 hours on my seating chart and when I got there realized the seating wasn't set up the same as the chart she drew out for me. We had family on complete opposite sides of the room that we wanted together. The top layer of my cake was wrapped in foil, this caused a lot of the icing to stick to it.

My husband and I decided to get married but was concerned with spending loads of money on a 2nd marriage. We already had 2 children each and established ourselves. After a long discussion we wanted to share our day with family and friends knowing how we felt about eachother. I started hunting down a venue in our area. It was important to us, since my husband's family has a food vending business, to have all homemade foods. We've been to affairs where we felt things were brought into the venues frozen and reheated. Next, the venue itself needed to have a welcoming romantic feeling about it. If we couldn't have these things, we planned to take an intimate family trip to exchange our vows. When I approached Carmen's, I never expected the warm and inviting feeling Cathy Kutchi gave Mike and I. She was very understanding of our situation and accomidated our needs. The venue is beautiful both inside and out. I knew I could work with this. Cathy invited us to her family's bakery not far from the venue to taste test some of their homeade food. We were very impressed! Immediately put the deposit down. That was last January, we married Nov 26th, 2011. Cathy sent emails just checking in with me to say hello and see if there was anything I needed. She was sweet and accomidating throught the process. Then the crisis, we decided not to go through with the church wedding and I contacted her immediately!, She was amazing. Quickly shuffled the day around for us and even helped find a minister to perform the wedding who actually was an old family friend I completely forgot about! Our guests couldn't say enough about how beautiful, tasteful, intimate and personal our ceremony and reception was. They were amazed of all the appetizers passed and how tastey and hot the food was as well. Thanks Cathy for all your love and hard work!
