I'm a born and raised Floridian, mother of three and 20-year Army Veteran. During my time in the service, I specialized in event planning, photography and videography serivces and audio/visual productions. My goal when I founded Carmen's Wedding Consulting was to use these skills to bring a sense of calm and confidence to weddings and other special events. When I first meet with a bride or event host, I like to get a sense of their vision and help them see it to fruition. Every member of my amazing team brings their own creativity and personality to their role. I try to mach brides and event hosts with the best coorindator to make them feel comfortable and confident.

Originally born in Germany, my family is from Bosnia, but I spent most of my life growing up in sunny Jacksonville, Florida. My experience covers various types of customer service, with a lot of time spent working in the makeup industry. Helping brides out for their big day was always so special to me, whether it was helping them pick out their makeup looks at the store or physically going to their venue to do everyone's hair and makeup. It's a special time of life for you, and I'm here to help make your big day as stress-free and effortless as I can!

About Me! I am born and raised in Florida, and have called Tallahassee home since 2018! I graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in marketing in 2021 and have continued working in the state's capitol city ever since! I work full-time as a Marketing Coordinator for a non-profit, I play bass in a rock band, and I go to lots of concerts and events. I am so excited to use my skills in communication and organization to make a bride's day extra special.

arried on. Carmen was available, thankfully because I planned my wedding in 4 short months. Everything about my wedding was chaotic- sloppy planning, limited timing, past due deadlines, missing items and uncooperative wedding guests but she dealt with everything with such great professionalism and patience. We couldn’t find a florist so my husband ordered 800 roses from a local vendor in Miami and we drove them to our venue where Carmen and one of her assistants hand clipped each one and made 9 beautiful table arrangements, decorated a banquet hall (IN LIKE AN HOUR!), managed a group of bossy and drunk bridesmaids, and coordinated and successfully pulled off 3 bridal dress changes, all while professionally handling rude and air-headed venue staff. Carmen is strong, very professional and reliable which is huge, just don’t get her twisted, she’s assertive in all the right ways and that’s needed on a wedding day. My day would have been completely ruined without her. I highly recommend her services, she’s A1! Just don’t stress her out like we did or she may eventually quit this business because this shit is hard! Thanks again Carmen

You always hear of horror stories of brides being pulled in a 1000 directions on your wedding day, but Carmen made sure that I could focus on myself and be relaxed. d beyond to save my wedding cake topper for us. She went back to our venue the morning after the wedding and packed up all of our decor and delivered it to us. She was amazing during the planning process and had many helpful recommendations and potential vendor replacements if needed. She worked great on our contingency plans for weather related issues. Carmen made it so I didn’t have to stress or worry at all on our wedding day. We couldn’t have done any of this without her! She worked closely with my cousin/ wedding planner and took everything with great stride! Carmen is worth every penny and more!! My husband was absolutely wowed with how everything turned out! y, I felt she was involved in the entire planning process. She reached out to all vendors to coordinate leading up to the rehearsal. At the rehearsal she worked well with our officiant to run the show. The day of was complete chaos on the venues part, and without her there I would have been in tears. She busted her ass running everywhere to fix the venues mistakes and we couldn’t say enough great things about her. She was so kind, courteous and helpful. She ended up having to arrange all the florals, set up the cigars beautifully and all the decor. I’ll include some pictures.

offered help along the way. When it came to the wedding she had her timeline and rocked it! Kept the bridal party in line, kept the guest where they needed to be and made sure the wedding flowed nicely. She was available when I needed her and flexible with events of the day. Her professional demeanor was wonderful to have and to help for our big day!
