Carmine's Washington DC

We booked Carmine’s for our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was the perfect choice! My mother-in-law worked with Ian to design the dinner. She was beyond thrilled with how wonderful he was to work with. He was responsive to her requests and e-mails, and he was present during the dinner, making sure everything ran smoothly. We went for two different tastings, so we could try a variety of dishes. We weren’t totally happy with one of the wines at the tasting, so Ian negotiated with us until we found something that we liked and would work for our group. All of the food and drinks ended up being fantastic, and of course there was plenty of food! We had a group of 30 people, with tons of leftovers that we were able to send home with local family/friends. Prior to the dinner, we were able to drop off a seating chart and place cards. Ian took care of everything. My mother-in-law printed one fancy menu to have near the drink station. Ian offered to create menus for each place setting. He did this the day of the dinner and they came out beautifully! They even matched our color scheme of blush. He hand tied the napkins with blush ribbons, and placed them on top of the menus at each place setting. They even put some flowers on each table. This was all done without us even requesting it. Ian and his attention to detail blew us away. My one and only complaint is that the servers weren’t as attentive as we would have liked. We were often left with empty water glasses, and at one point, one of our tables got an entrée much later than everyone else, only after we pointed it out to the head waiter. Overall, we were beyond thrilled with our experience at Carmine’s D.C. for our rehearsal dinner!
