Britney was fantastic at our rehearsal, even giving pointers to the groomsmen on how to place their hands. She made the rehearsal run smoothly, even when there were a few bumps along the way. Throughout the entire wedding process, Michael and later Britney (the new wedding coordinator) made sure to answer all our questions, ideas, and plans quickly. After some problems with our originally booked caterer, we switched to the Carmon’s catering team. The tasting was amazing, and as an out-of-state couple, Michael and Britney accommodated the times we were in town. On the wedding day, the food was even better than at the tasting. The day itself was absolutely perfect. Britney was there every step of the way and made sure to handle anything that came up. She was truly fantastic, and I don’t know what we would have done without her. Kyle and I both worked in the wedding industry, so we held Carmon’s to a very high standard when it came to our big day—and they exceeded every expectation. I will continue to rave about Carmon’s, and if anyone is looking for a venue that can truly do it all, I highly recommend them!

hour. The space is beautiful, has a great wide open industrial vibe, with beautiful lighting, exposed brick, and gorgeous tables/decor! The event coordinator Britney is extremely responsive, responsible, and easy to work with! She did an absolutely phenomenal job as a day of coordinator for our wedding, everything ran extremely smooth. The building is under new management from CRS Hospitality, and we had a wonderful experience with them for our wedding! We had booked under the previous management, and CRS has been so much better to work with! They've updated so many things, including a huge new bar, new catering, in-house coordination, and importantly a very responsive and reliable team running the show! HIGHLY recommend!!

ctly what you want it to be. From the initial meeting to the food tasting and all the planning sessions in between, everything was so helpful and well thought out. Michael and his team are extremely knowledgeable and made each step feel seamless. One of the best parts of going with Carmon's was being assigned a wedding coordinator. I didn’t even realize how much I needed one until I worked with Britney - she was fantastic. As someone who wasn't entirely sure how best to plan the flow of my wedding and reception, her guidance made decision-making incredibly easy and stress-free. Having a point of contact on the day-of for all my vendors also made the day much more relaxed for me. Carmon’s truly goes above and beyond and is exceptionally service-oriented. I’m so glad we chose this venue for our wedding and cannot recommend them enough!

Britney was absolutely fabulous to work with and collaborated with both us and our wedding planner on executing all of the details of our day. Every question we had she was able to answer or offer solutions. Her kind demeanor made us feel so calm on our wedding weekend. We knew we were well taken care of. The food and bar were also excellent! We were the first group to do a full service wedding with the new CRS crew, and they did a great job. Our guests really liked the food and enjoyed the bar which included specialty cocktails. They even worked with us to execute a special toast to honor a loved one. We are so thankful for the whole team who helped make our day so wonderful. These memories we made will last a lifetime.

We found so many venues that had a long list of all the things you couldn't do at their venue; while Carmon's does have rules, they were so accommodating and hospitable to say "yes" to most all the things we wanted to do. Carmon's isn't your average venue due to the fact that they are a hospitality company which owns and operates many of the local favorite bars and restaurants in downtown Champaign. So when I tell you we received so many compliments from our guests saying that the food was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, you can understand why. From the kitchen staff, to the bartenders, to the wait staff they all worked like a well oiled machine. They understood the flow of the wedding reception and worked with us to make the entire day run smoothly even down to the smallest details (e.g. the spacious bridal loft for the women to get ready was one-of-a-kind, having cocktail hour in their cocktail bar to allow for a grand reveal of the main reception area once a good amount of people arrived, little to no lines waiting for a drink, taking care to set out the dessert table after dinner and cake cutting, suggesting unique picture opportunities with our guests during special dances, etc.). I also appreciated the experience they had working with and suggesting vendors. As a first-time bride that's not from the area, I had sooo many questions, and they had well-informed answers for all of them. Michael's food and drink knowledge goes unmatched. A couple days after the wedding we realized we forgot a few items, and Britney answered us on her day off and made arrangements for us to be able to come pick them up. Even after our wedding weekend was over, they were still taking excellent care of us. A once-in-a-lifetime party needs an experienced team, and Carmon's is a one-stop-shop.
