ur experience with Matt and Penny. From the very beginning they were so kind, professional, and easy to work with and on our wedding day they made us feel completely comfortable and we laughed all day!
We only received a sneak peek so far but it is absolutely beautiful, it already has us so excited for the full wedding film! We are beyond grateful we booked them to capture such an important day of our lives. We cannot wait to relive all of the memories through their work. Definitely recommend you book with them asap!! 😍
Almost a year after our wedding day, choosing Carnation Films to capture our forever moments was one of the best decisions we made. Every step of the way, Matt and Penny kept the ...
meaning of our day at the forefront, valuing our love and loved ones just as much as we did. From our breathtaking teaser-trailer, to a true wedding day FILM, and a reception video that felt like it was captured by a family member - they documented our wedding day in a way brings back every moment that we are sure to watch back and share for years to come & "all of our days" :)
Thank you Matt and Penny!!!!
Matt and Penny are an absolute joy and the best of the best! We knew immediately after watching a few of their videos that we had to have them capture our wedding day. Matt and Pen...
ny create their films very intentionally and each one is unique to the couple. We loved every moment of the process from meeting them to spending our wedding day together to the communication afterwards. We felt so comfortable with them on our wedding day and it honestly felt like we were spending time with friends. They captured so many meaningful moments and created a video which authentically reflected us as a couple and the emotion of our wedding day. We absolutely love our wedding video and are so thankful we found them. We have received so many compliments from family, friends, and other vendors on our video. Matt and Penny are so down-to-earth, thoughtful, and genuinely care about the work they do. If you are considering hiring them to capture your wedding day, do yourself a favor and just book them! We are so glad that we did. ❤️
Matt and Penny were recommended to us by our photographer and we couldn't be happier after working with them. Prior to the wedding we had a video call with them so we could meet e...
ach other and so Matt and Penny could understand my wife and I's relationship. This helped immensely on the day of the wedding because i felt like i was seeing an old friend. After being in a few weddings in the past few years, some videographers feel like an afterthought, and you end up with awkward poses or shots, you get none of that with Carnation Films. Half of the time it's just you and your spouse being yourselves and they're there to capture a real moment, not fake staged ones. Their chemistry with our friends was unmatched, they showed up and captured our day without feeling weird or out of place. Like an old friend that you haven't seen in awhile that you can just click with. Our preview of our wedding video was incredible and i can't wait to see the fully finished product. Matt and Penny are genuine people who excel at their craft, I can't recommend them enough if you're looking for a videographer.
I worked with Matt and Penny in January. From our first exchage of words, I felt their authenticity and positive interest in working in a team. It's not often that you meet people ...
who genuinly listen when they ask a question about others! It was refreshing to meet such kind individuals who see beyond the scope of typical wedding vendor interaction. It was so refreshing to meet another wedding pro and connect soeffortlessly! Shifting this experience to their clients is easy- their work is pure talent and meaningful- which are rare. You can't go wrong with hiring Matt and Penny-they tap into your soul and create magic.
We LOVED Carnation Films (Matt and Penny). As a lot of couples do, we unfortunately cut videography out of our budget early on; but luckily, it was gifted to us by my mother-in-law...
. Had I known how much I'd value my wedding videography, I'd have NEVER cut it out of the budget in the first place (I'd much rather skimp out on some other aspect of the wedding). Carnation Films did such a beautiful job individualizing our video, while making it universally beautiful. They took the time to get to know us as a couple, and you can tell in their incredible work. They are so pleasant to work with, and seem genuinely passionate about their work & customer satisfaction. I'd 100% recommend them to anyone!
I mean just look at our teaser!! You'll see what I mean. <3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nHPM4WkQng
I cannot say enough good things about Carnation Films and the pros behind the business Matt and Penny. They were incredibly easy to work with, they were always upfront and honest, ...
flexible with our ideas and preferences, and so fun to be around! They are kind and down to earth and they made it so easy to be comfortable in front of the camera, which my husband and I certainly were not used to! They took all the steps needed to prepare us for the wedding, like having an initial brainstorm/get to know us Zoom meeting and an engagement video session which gave us a taste of the experience in front of the camera. They also went ABOVE and BEYOND by surprising us with social media teaser videos they created as it led up to the big day and after and what we got out of our package. We cherish the footage and BEAUTIFUL crafted videos they made for us and watch them over and over again. It's like re-living the best day of our lives again and again. Not only are they professionals, they really care about the people they are filming. We didn't feel like just a client, we felt like a friend, and they listened to what was important to us in telling our story. They blended their creativity with our style to make our videos truly one of a kind. I look forward to seeing them continue to grow their amazing business!
If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would! Matt and Penny were incredible!
100% book Carnation Films! My husband and I have known Matt and Penny for years and were not surprised with the incredible footage we received from them! They not only captured the...
big moments with acute detail, but also the intimate ones. The amount of attention they gave to our big day ensured us that the final product would be beautiful—and it was! I would recommend Carnation Films to anyone getting married. Everything was put together in a timely and professional manner, and my husband and I could not have asked for a better videographer!

e thrown at them and receptive of all of our requests. They were a pleasure to have along side for the day and provided a preview trailer of their footage within such short time. The preview alone well reflects the couple and atmosphere of the day and we cannot wait to see the final video. I am excited to recommend Carnation Films to friends and family and look forward to watching their company grow. Great work!

Absolutely book Matt! I wasn’t sure we “needed” a videographer for our wedding. I thought the photographer would be enough, but I am SO glad we ended up asking Matt to capture our ...
beautiful day. Photographs are wonderful, but there’s no comparison to having a video capturing those moments so we can watch it in years to come. I was completely blown away with our final product. The reason I would book Matt over other companies comes down to how unique his style & work is. He not only captures the big moments, but he will also get the sweet little ones others wouldn’t think about that make your video stand out from every other one you see online! I truly believe he caters to each client. On top of his passion, his professionalism is a great quality. He was early, dressed accordingly to our event, Friendly, Etc. I would highly recommend hiring Matt for all of your events!
