Carolina Baking Company

Southern Sisters Brand and Carolina Baking Company have been located in Summerville for over 30 years. From 1987 to 1994 we were located at 170 Church Street in Charleston, which was known as the Gourtmesstiare. At that location, we were known as the Charleston Cookie Company. We sold our line of soft batch cookies. Our flavors were Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip with nuts and M&M, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chocolate chip, Coconut Pecan, and White Chocolate Chip. We were are so located in the Charleston Historical Market where we had the same spot for those years selling our Authentic Benne Wafers, as well as Charleston Pecan Cookies, Old Fashioned Ginger Snap, and Lemon Coolers. Our cookies are all hand-made, all-natural with no preservatives. We are also in the Charleston Farmers Market and the Summerville Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. After being in the same location for so long, we decided to take our Famous Benne Wafer all over. We started doing Christmas and Springs shows locally in Charleston and then we started going to other locations, like Virginia, Georgia, Washington, Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee. We also ship our products. We do over twenty-five shows a year.
