Booking with Carolina Country was absolutely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Not only is the venue stunning but the staff is amazing! Carolina Country was able to capture our vision so well, it was the perfect day! We worked with Melanie Barker throughout the design and execution, she was incredible. Even saved the day from a veil mishap! We have received so many compliments on the venue and even have friends looking to book because of how beautiful it was. You can't go wrong with Carolina Country!

CCW was absolutely amazing. We had our wedding in their "Wedding in the woods" ceremony location and it was magical. Although it's on the pricier side, it's well worth the cost. Melanie (our day of coordinator that was with the venue) was an absolute life saver. Plus the ability to use so many of their decorations, chairs, etc. was amazing and helped cut costs down. Highly recommend for a beautiful wedding/reception area outside.

Our experience with Carolina Country Weddings was literally a fairytale. Our wedding was exactly what I dreamed of, and all the staff helped make everything flow smoothly. I felt at ease the day of, because I knew everything was taken care of! I cannot rate this venue high enough; all my guests came up to me multiple times and said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to.

Carolina Country Weddings has a beautiful venue and the staff there did an excellent job decorating. However, I was not completely satisfied with my experience. For context, I had a micro wedding with a guest count of less than 40 people. I chose to do the diamond package since I wanted to save on hiring an outside planner. This particular wedding package included two planning sessions, decor/setup, and a Day of Event Coordinator/ Ceremony Director (Holly B). The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception turned out great. When it came time to leave, my husband and I did a sparkler exit and left in a getaway car. We were told that our leftover food, personal items, and decor would be packed for us and placed in our relatives cars. Holly also told my mother if anything was left behind the venue would call us (which they didn’t, hence we didn’t know that we didn’t have everything). After returning from our two week honeymoon, we realized we were missing items. I reached out to the venue owner, Melanie N, about this and instead received an email response from one of her staff members (I had never met before) telling me that my personal items would be left outside on Melanie’s house porch for seven days (exposed to the elements). I immediately called Melanie and was met with a rude, dismissive attitude disguised by a mellifluous voice. In that moment, I knew there was no reasoning with her and rushed to pick up my things. My items were indeed left outside unattended. No one greeted me at the door and no one checked to make sure I retrieved everything okay. In the end, I still didn’t get all of my items back. Also, there was a bunch of leftover appetizers unaccounted for that were supposed to be placed in our car. Overall, I was left with a sour taste in my mouth because of poor customer service and my feelings were hurt. I guess all politeness went out the window the moment the wedding day was over.

We are so grateful to all the staff at Carolina Country Weddings that helped make our wedding everything we dreamed of! From the venue tour, to the planning stages, to the day of the wedding, we felt very taken care of and truly invested in. All of the reminder emails and tips were extremely helpful, and Melanie was flawless as a rehearsal director and day-of coordinator. Without her, none of us would have known where to stand, where to go, or what to do with our hands! And she kept us on schedule! The natural beauty of the venue as well as the professionalism of the staff set the tone for a really fun wedding! Our photographers had never been to this venue and they were gushing about the views and said this venue jumped to the top of their list of favorites! CCC did an amazing job with the layout and decor, and our guests were very excited about all the photo opportunities they had around the property. We got the diamond package, which included a day-of coordinator, rehearsal director, and the ability to use the venue’s decor, which was so helpful in cutting decor costs for us! The venue staff were also so helpful in installing the decor pieces that we provided and the venue looked absolutely incredible. The coordination with our other vendors, email reminders and tips for wedding planning, and quick answers to our endless questions were invaluable. RUN, don’t walk, to book your wedding here!!! Thank you so much to CCC for helping make our autumnal wedding special!

Gorgeous views, great staff! Amazing venue to work with. So organized and worth it to have a venue that truly listens to your wants (and even helps you plan, what more can you ask for?!) also has a plethora of rentals available if you upgrade your package and worth every penny. We used many of their recommended vendors and everything was seamless. We had the perfect day even despite a surprise shower. It all turned out exactly as we hoped for and more!

WOW! CCW was the perfect choice for the enchanted wedding my husband and I hoped for. We went ahead with the Diamond package and the experience was phenomenal. They have such an amazing inventory and any encounter with their staff (Rachel, Melanie, Holly, Sarah) was delightful. They provide you with amazing resources throughout the planning process and are so quick to respond. My day-of coordinators, Holly & Sarah, were so amazing and made me feel so at ease. I brought a bunch of misc. decor myself just to fill the space and just handed it to them and wow, they made my vision such a reality and THEN some. Most people throughout the planning were very discouraging, saying I would regret having a big wedding, but this team did not allow me stress one bit. Absolutely perfect! The venue is gorgeous and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They provide all the decor (for an added cost, but SO worth it). Throughout the planning process they host events at the venue so you can see exactly what your table settings will look like. Melanie and her staff have wedding planning down to a science. We were incredibly pleased with the whole process and our big day flowed together flawlessly. They provide a day of coordinator that helps things run smoothly.

As a 2023 bride, I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at Carolina Country Weddings. If you are a bride looking to get married in North Carolina, you would be remiss to pass on touring/considering this venue for your special day. First, the property is breathtaking and SO versatile, which we found saves money on decor in the long run. Every wedding is different, even down to offering several ceremony sites all of which are stunning. CCW offers a convenient mountain feel in the Charlotte area, close to the international airport for our loved ones. Second, their packages are incredibly generous, offering so many "add-ins" that would probably have cost us thousands more dollars (wedding industry prices are outrageous, but CCW is fair). Lastly, Melanie and her team truly CARE about you – never once in this process have our interactions felt transactional. Instead, Melanie stepped beside us and provided help and guidance where we needed it most. So many venues are wedding mills and could care less if your wedding day turns out the way you dreamed, but that is simply not the case at CCW. We are so glad we chose to book our wedding here, and I promise you will be, too!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I don't think our wedding day could have been more perfect. Carolina Country Weddings is everything I could have imagined for our venue. We actually almost didn't get a venue at all because of how difficult so many of our options were to work with and all of their rules! CCW gave us so much flexibility and creative freedom and the Diamond Package was worth the extra money! Melanie and Rachel helped us design our centerpieces, kept us organized and on track, and executed everything almost perfectly day of! Being out of state was challenging but the CCW team worked with us and helped us create the most beautiful and intentional day. While the whole day was beautiful I am particularly grateful for our ceremony in the woods. It was everything I dreamed of and a cherished memory I will never forget. Thanks for the great experience and the most memorable day!

This venue offers many options, you are getting the bang for your buck if you are getting married here. I would HIGHLY suggest doing the diamond package. The best part of this venue is they helped coordinate all of the rehearsal and day of the wedding action items. My friends & family did not have to do anything other than load our personal items into the car. You can choose from multiple ceremony sites (we chose Wedding in the Woods), multiple photography locations, and the best part I liked how the food for the reception was in the cabin beside the reception hall. This way, the caterers had an easier set up and the evening was more organized due to this. With the diamond package you even can use their wide selection of decor they have. We used the welcome sign, white linen table covers, gift signs, etc. They also have a golf cart to transport your elder or disable guests as well which is really nice. One downside to this venue is how remote this location is. Be prepared for your guests to stay in Concord, Kannapolis, or Charlotte. If you have alcohol I would highly suggest hiring a bus service as we did. The roads are curvy leading up to the venue.

Melanie and our day of coordinator, Rachel were absolutely amazing throughout this experience. When my husband and I toured the venue we were absolutely taken away by the layout and spectacular views it offered. However, this was our first tour so we were not sure if that's how they all were. We toured a few other places and each venue we went back to Carolina Country Weddings and compared it. We knew that this beautiful venue would be where we got married. Melanie is so responsive and has hired such great staff around her to ensure that your day runs as smoothly and painless as possible. My wedding day exceeded every expectation that I had and this venue played a major role in that. I would choose this place over and over again!!

Melanie and her team are so incredible. The venue is STUNNING. She has thought about so many tiny details that from where parking is, the different wedding locations, etc. She truly puts her heart into it. She is also very easy to communicate with and has such timely responses. She also truly cares about her couples. She treated my husband and I like we were family. With Covid we had to push our wedding, but we were still able to have an ""elopement" with just our family at the venue. She was very understanding of having to move our wedding and was so gracious with the change and the circumstances. I am so thankful for all that she and her team have done. It has been such a wonderful experience. I never felt like I had to worry or stress about the venue, because she was so on top of it. Can't recommend this venue enough!

BEST. VENUE. EVER. I wish I had the words to describe just how incredible CCW and their staff are. Melanie has grown to become someone that my husband and I hold very dear to our hearts. We are from PA and came across CCW on Google after searching for a forest/wood ceremony theme in NC or SC...and boy are we SO happy that we did. Our wedding on 10/23/2020 was truly magical and a dream come true and we can't thank Melanie and her amazing team enough for their kindness, warmth, expertise, support, and hospitality. Our wedding day was a day that we will never forget and we owe that to all of our wonderful vendors but especially CCW <3 the venue, the surrounding scenery, the people...everything was more than we could have ever imagined. If you are looking for a STUNNING ceremony spot in the woods and a rustic/romantic venue in general - you will not be disappointed. I cried 2 times touring the venue for a reason!!! XO

My wife and I had a magical wedding at Carolina Country Weddings. We got married in May during COVID and opted for a micro wedding. Even though it was different than what we originally planned, it turned out even better than we could have hoped. The wide open country fields and rolling hills create a beautiful, serene backdrop. My wife and I had a beautiful elopement at this venue! The grounds are gorgeous and the staff is fantastic. While Covid-19 caused us to forgo a large celebration, the CCW staff made sure that we had a meaningful and exquisite day. Carolina Country Weddings was the second venue we toured and we were so blown away with its beauty that we booked it on the spot & canceled all of our other tours. This venue is absolutely stunning and was the perfect setting for our special day. Melanie had tons of ideas and was very helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. However, as the wedding approached we dealt with some invoicing and administrative problems that, while easily resolved, foreshadowed the further forgetfulness & lack of attention to detail we would experience with her on our big day. Carolina Country Weddings holds a very special place in our hearts and I would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone, but I would also encourage anyone getting married there to look else-where for coordination.

We knew right away that the beautiful outdoor feel of the venue was exactly what we were looking for, but also that working with Melanie seemed like it would make it an easy experience. Carolina Country Weddings was a beautiful venue to get married at! My husband and I wanted a venue outside surrounded by nature and Carolina Country Weddings did not disappoint! Melanie, the owner was great during the planning process to help the event run smoothly by emailing and skyping us. Melanie also took time out of her day twice to give tours to family members who unexpectedly visited the venue site. Melanie was a pleasure to work with and if we did it all again we would pick Carolina Country Weddings as our wedding venue!

The venue is absolute gorgeous especially in the fall months. We got married at the “Meadowview 2” Which was our favorite. The barn and patio are also so beautiful with all the string lights lit up so it was perfect for the reception. We had about 115 guests and there was more than enough room for everyone. We’re very happy with our choice to go with Carolina country weddings. We also had Melanie do our coordination and she was great. We met in person and over the phone a couple of times to go over the details of the day and make sure that we were on the same page, and also gave me a lot of good ideas about the flow of things so I would be prepared. This also included the decorating and set up, all of which was perfect. Everything went off without a hitch, and the whole day/night was perfect.

We truly loved our experience here at Carolina Country Weddings with Melanie and her team. The space is breathtaking if you desire for your wedding to be in a charming and beautiful outdoor space. We had our ceremony at the wedding in the woods spot and couldn't have been more pleased. Trees surround you so we really did not need much decorations to fill an already beautiful space. Melanie and her team are extremely detail oriented and do the best job at keeping the space looking carefully groomed yet still capturing the raw and wild elements of nature. They helped guide us along the wedding preparations with regular emails that included questions and ideas to think through before the big day. Melanie even gave out her personal phone number closer to the big day and was so quick to respond. On the big day, Melanie went above and beyond to help in any way possible from the first moment we stepped onto the venue to closing the door of our getaway car as we drove off. We truly felt valued and special thanks to Melanie and the entire team.

What a venue! Before we were married, my wife always dreamt of a wedding in the woods and boy oh boy did we get one! This venue offers multiple locations to get married at and of course we chose the woods. Words can almost not even describe how beautiful everything turned out. Melanie and her team at Carolina Country Weddings are so knowledgeable on everything wedding and are so easy to work with! You also have the chance to hire Melanie and her team for the day of the wedding so that you wont have to worry about a thing. HIGHLY recommend doing this because neither myself or my wife had a single worry that day. Everything was perfect! Yesterday, I was lucky enough to marry my very best friend in this world. Typically, I am a very anxious person, and my anxiety gets the best of me during stressful situations. For most brides, their wedding day tends to be one of the most stressful day of their lives. That was not the case at all for me. From the moment that I arrived at my venue, all the way through the end of the night, I truly did not have a worry in the world. And I owe that all of peace of mind to Melanie, the owner of Carolina Country Weddings. Melanie is an absolute gem, and I could not have possibly expected the amount of generosity and compassion that she showered us with not only during the day of our wedding, but throughout the ENTIRE planning process. From the very beginning, she made it incredibly clear that she was willing to help us with anything that we needed at all, and she went above and beyond all expectations. It is truly impossible for me to fully express my gratitude and gratefulness to Melanie and her entire team at Carolina Country Weddings. Each and every one of them worked so incredibly hard to ensure that everything was exactly how I wanted. Melanie contacted all of my vendors to ensure delivery times and scheduling, she created the most BEAUTIFUL centerpieces for each of my tables, and also set all of those tables up for me with her lovely team! Their assistance did not stop there, her team continued to help my husband and I with whatever we needed throughout cocktail hour and the reception as well. They contributed more than we would have ever imagined possible. The kindness offered by everyone at Carolina Country Weddings is beyond humbling. The generosity that was shown to us truthfully brought me to tears. We also had Melanie coordinate and direct our wedding ceremony and that was by far one of the BEST choices we could have made. She made the process very easy, and very relaxed, which is exactly what we wanted. Melanie without a doubt knows all things wedding like the back of her hand, making it so incredibly simple to trust her with all of the details. If you are a bride looking for a PHENOMENAL venue that will 100% take care of you and your needs, then Carolina Country Weddings is the venue to choose. My Fiancé and I first visited Carolina Country Weddings last October after we had first gotten engaged. As soon as we drove down to the property and saw what all the venue had to offer, there was no doubt in our minds that we had found the perfect location for our wedding. Apart from several different ceremony location options, Carolina Country Weddings also offers a magnificent barn to host the reception, along with a gorgeous patio strung with beautiful lights to dance the night away! There is also a BRILLIANT bridal suite to get ready in, and a rustic and manly groomsman lodge to host the groom and his party! Every single aspect is nothing short of amazing. The property is absolutely stunning, and its natural beauty is enough to draw anyone in. We have chosen Wedding in the Woods as our ceremony site, and we are BEYOND thrilled for our special day at this venue. When we first met Melanie, her immediate sincerity and welcoming personality was nothing short of genuine. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all things wedding, and it was very clear from the start that she wants nothing less than to create the most spectacular wedding day for any couple that chooses her property. Melanie has been very quick and very responsive to any and all questions, no matter how silly they may seem. She has made us feel incredibly secure and kept us at ease throughout this entire process. Carolina was so good at making sure that we were happy and had everything we needed. It wasn't enough that the venue was gorgeous, our every need was taken care of and as a type A bride, the attention to detail they gave every aspect was great and super helpful. They were amazing and I loved having our wedding there.

This was the second wedding venue we toured. We immediately cancelled all tours at other venues because we fell in love with the beauty of the property right away. Melanie was incredibly helpful since day one, and she and the venue staff have outstanding attention to detail. I mean, they thought of everything. Nothing slipped though the cracks. That professionalism put my fiancé and I at ease while we planned the wedding, not to mention on the big day. We highly recommend this venue for a gorgeous wedding. Thank you!!

As a photographer and fellow wedding industry vendor, I have truly enjoyed working with Melanie. She is sweet and more than accommodating when it comes to collaborating. It goes without being said that Carolina Country Weddings is a stunning site, full of variety as you're planning your wedding. Rolling hills, lovely countryside views, quaint, polished indoor accommodations for covered ceremonies and receptions -- she's got it. I've enjoyed photographing this venue in every season!!

October 20, 2018, the most stressful day a Mother of the Bride can have. But This venue and staff were simply amazing, taking all the stress away from the Host, every detail was perfect. The Carolina Country Wedding is the most beautiful place to have a perfect wedding, the scenery, the different area's, were just outstanding. The Owner Melanie was amazing to work with, she graced us with her years of experience and Knowledge to pull off a perfect wedding with no mishaps. Her staff were friendly and accomodating. This is a highly recommended place if you want to have a perfect day. The meadows, the woods, the Lodge the Patio's made for the most amazing one of a kind place to take amazing photos. Carolina Country Weddings is the place dreams are made of. Thank you for making this day seamless and a memory we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

The ultimate wedding venue! On 10/27/18 our daughter was married here! The location is beautiful, peaceful and is breathtaking. Melanie was over the top with her guidance, service and professionalism - a top notch wedding coordinator and host. There is nothing like the Carolina Country Wedding and Events venue. My husband and I had our wedding here and I can not express how amazing this venue is! It was the first and only place we looked at for our big day. Melanie and her crew are so helpful through the entire process. Wedding planning is stressful enough as it is and having the extra help on your wedding day is a breath of fresh air! Carolina Country Weddings was the second venue my now husband and I ever looked at, and we immediately booked it after our initial meeting with Melanie. The space is immaculate. You can truly tell how much love they have poured into it. Not a derail is spared. Melanie is awesome amazing to work with. She is calming, kind, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. I could not speak highly enough of her and the venue space. Throughout the entire planning process, she was so helpful, and accommodating. The venue’s power was impacted by Hurricane Michael, but that didn’t stop Melanie from ensuring we would have a great day. Even with the weather causing issues, she had a plan to make sure everything ran smoothly, and was extremely quick to keep us informed and up to date. Then once the day came, she ensured the day ran absolutely perfectly, and it DID. Absolutely nothing went wrong, and I definitely attribute it to Melanie and her team. They worked so incredibly hard especially with our giant wedding party (26 attendants total). It all went so smoothly. Along with Melanie, the rest of her staff is just as helpful, attentive, and accommodating. You can definitely tell they all truly care about your day. The grounds of the venue are absolutely gorgeous and the views make for an amazing backdrop. Everything is so well maintained and the staff truly works to ensure all your details for your vision are worked out. I could not even begin to express the happiness my husband and I have toward our wedding day, and the entire planning process working with Melanie, and Carolina Country Weddings. They truly make you feel part of the family. We are so grateful we chose this venue, the day just wouldn’t have been the same without it. You cannot go wrong with picking this venue. Not only is this venue beautiful, Melanie is a wonderful coordinator! She thought of everything and is very particular, her attention to detail made every thing run so smoothly and my wedding day just perfect. There are things that Melanie did that I didn't even know that she had done until I saw the wedding photos. I can't recommend this venue highly enough!

She and her staff were at the venue the day of the wedding to help with anything we needed. This venue is amazing! My husband and I went for a tour prior to booking and felt in love with the location immediately. The venue is naturally beautiful and it provides a couple of options for ceremony location (outdoors and indoors) and a beautiful barn to host the reception. Melanie, the owner, was very helpful, she has great attention to detail and is shown through the venue. We booked an all-inclusive wedding two months prior to the wedding. Melanie planned our whole wedding in this short period of time and was very flexible with times and dates. She made our planning very smooth and easy. I can honestly say it was a stress-free wedding and truly a lovely event, thanks to Melanie and her staff!

From the moment we first visited Carolina Country Weddings, we knew it was going to be the perfect venue for us! Melanie is so kind, attentive to every detail, and truly interested in making sure you have the day you've been dreaming of. She was quick to answer any questions we had throughout the process and offered helpful suggestions as we made the final decisions about our day. She has done a wonderful job of creating a truly naturally beautiful and comfortable space for an amazing wedding day. We loved the unique wedding in the woods ceremony site, romantic string lights in the barn, spacious patio for dancing, and straight out of Pinterest bridal suite. Unlike many other venues, we felt like there was plenty of space for our guests to enjoy the evening how they wanted. People could join us on the patio for dancing, socialize in the barn at their tables or watch the sun set from the porch of the lodge. Melanie was on site with her team the whole day of our wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. Thank you Carolina Country Weddings for helping us create a perfect wedding day!

We were very pleased with this venue & enjoyed working with Melanie. It is absolutely gorgeous! Melanie always responded to me in a timely manner and was very accommodating. My only complaint is that there was a miscommunication that resulted in some of my guests being told they couldn't enter the ceremony because they were late. Although I understand they didn't want my wedding to be disrupted, I wish they would have asked me my preferences. Other than that I have no complaints and would recommend this venue to anyone!

Wow is all I can say. What an amazing venue this is. Melanie and her team went out of their way to make my daughters wedding so memorable. The venue is absolutely beautiful set in a wonderful country setting. From visiting for the first time to the day of the wedding Melanie was so accommodating to all of our needs and was so knowledgable during the entire process. Very enjoyable and memorable experience. Wonderful location and scenery. The staff and owners are fantastic. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful with planning, decorations, layout, timing and scheduling, etc. The day of the wedding was a breeze. Everything was in order and the on site coordinator was helpful in every way possible. I have nothing but good things to say about Carolina Country Weddings.

As the MOB my biggest goal was to ensure my daughter and her fiancee had the best day of their lives on their wedding day. After researching many wedding venues, we (the happy couple and parents) chose to visit the Carolina Country Weddings site. After that first visit we were convinced it was the perfect place for the big day. The breathtaking setting and well laid out beautiful facilities made for a lovely and memorable rehearsal and wedding day! Melanie's great organizational skills and advice were invaluable, as she worked "behind the scenes" to ensure everything went smoothly! Highly recommend CCW!!!

The venue was a fairy tale come true! Picture perfect scenery. No words could describe how memorable our wedding was. Melanie was excellent helping me with ideas and planning for the big day. From the minute we saw the venue and met Melanie, she was so excited to help us. We could tell she really enjoys and loves what she does. Throughout the event, when we needed Melanie she was there and I know she went well above and beyond helping even when I didn’t know she was there. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.
