They were very professional- it's clear that they know what they're doing in the Hampton Roads area. I loved that they also allowed for customization of the look of the cake- I dropped off ribbon for them, and they wrapped the bottom of the tiers in it just like the pictures I provided. Overall, very easy experience with tons of options.

A lot of our guests told us they had several so they could try the different flavors, because they were all so good. I would 100% recommend them to anyone!

thing to show it was for a gender reveal!! We had to purchase decorations ourselves. We were told by the manager that people have complained about the decorations so they don't do anything! They also returned our envelope sloppy! the confetti that the doctors office put in it was retaped on the outside. It was taped well so there was NO WAY that it spilled our after being taped as the manager accused my husband of shaking it! So it was ruined for me when I saw this. When my husband went to bite into his he saw pink around the rim of the frosting. The excuse for this from the manager was that the frosting had expanded! I have never ever heard or witnessed this. I bake from scratch even my frostings and I have never seen this happen! Ridiculous! Everything my husband was telling her she had a come back! Not to mention the driest cupcake we have ever eaten and it just crumbled in your hands. So, needless to say there was no surprise on either my behalf or my husband's. So this is what our memory for this event ended up being. A HUGE disappointment and not even an appology! And when he called to let them know what had happened there was nothing but excuses with us to blame for the mistakes. Horrible customer service! Bad bad business and bad bad cupcakes! Surprised that they are still in business! I will never return nor recommend!

Then I turned to Carolina Cupcakery, and not only did we end up with a beautiful cake and cupcakes, but my husband had a delicious cake, completely allergen-free!! Oh, and we got married during Hurricane Matthew and Carolina Cupcakery didn't bat an eyelash about getting the cake to us. Wonderful business!

d not have to worry about missing work to get this wedding task done! I had their cupcakes before (ordered them for a bachelorette party-amazing!) so I knew that they had a good product. I was even more pleased when they told me that the order is baked same-day! We ended up with party cake (which we asked them to decorate to match our colors), red velvet, and chocolate cheesecake (our favorite and what we chose for the anniversary cake which we used for the cake cutting)! The whole process was extremely user friendly and customizable. After our tasting, everything else was done online with the exception of describing how we wanted the anniversary cake decorated (I wasn't sure when we went for the tasting). The cupcakes were delivered on time to the venue and everyone loved them!! Not a bad price and great customer service!

They did all the setup at the venue. They could be hard to get a hold of because they are so busy but they took good care of everything and were very accomodating.

ere able to purchase an anniversary cake for cutting at the reception, mini, and full size cupcakes. While we stuck with the business's frosting, colors, and decorations, they were more than willing to accommodate any colors, decorations, or themes we wanted. Our flavors were: Almond I Do, Chocolate Salted Caramel, French Toast, and Banana Pudding. Trust us! Amazing cupcakes. A great way to avoid any "cake cutting fees" and a great variety.

d a little bit higher than their regular cupcakes, but were well worth it when all of our guests were able to eat a cupcake. Overall they did a wonderful job matching our beach/starfish theme and everything was delicious.

e met with Haley and Jenny on two different occasions where they helped us design the most perfect 3 tiered cake! Each layer was a different flavor and frosted in a cream cheese buttercream...Yum. We had a lovely outside wedding and they made great suggestions about our cake being inside away from the summer heat. We cannot wait to celebrate our 11th year of marriage with another cake!

Jenni was there early to make sure the presentation was beautiful and it was one less stress I had to worry about. Overall my experience and wedding was amazing thanks to carolina cupcakery!

ere way overpriced for "event pricing". $2 each for a mini cupcake for 200 cupcakes was extremely expensive. I don't understand why we didn't get a discount for buying so many. Instead we had to pay more than the counter price for individual servings. Be careful and read the contract. Once you pay your deposit you can't get it back unless you can reach an agreement with them. The product was great, delivered on time, my main issue is the cost.

It was tough planning the wedding from afar, but my mom was able to contact an employee, and they brought the cupcakes onto OBX for us, and we were able to get a family member to pick them up before the wedding. They were so flexible in helping us plan the flavors and pick-up for the cupcakes. More importantly, the cupcakes were delicious and definitely a hit! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a wide variety of cupcakes and not wanting to break the bank doing it!

a week before my wedding to drop off my final payment instead of mailing it in and picked up a dozen cupcakes. Can't get enough of them! They were a big hit at the wedding! Can't wait until my anniversary next year so that i can eat my cake!! YUM!!

so were able to make it look a little more dressed up. With 3 different stores and several event people, some of the communication seemed a little disconnected. However, the cupcakes tasted great and were all gone at the end of the night!
