When my fiance (now husband) told me to start looking for engagement rings, I had no idea what I wanted. I browsed online to find the type I liked, and then realized that several were by the same designer. As it turned out, this vendor was the only place I could find this designer in the state. I took a little road trip and worked with a sweet man to look at rings. Chatted for a couple hours. I felt entirely comfortable, like he was another father or uncle. Way better than the vultures at Kay Jewelers, and better quality! The one my husband chose had a matching band.

If you expect to receive good customer service from this place; please re-consider. After making a very significant purchase from a notably prominent and successful local jeweler, the OWNER referred me to Mark and/or John (owners) of Carolina Fine Jewelry to get a second appraisal that I desired. Mark is who answered the phone, and from the very beginning I was a bit weary from his tone. He asked a few questions, in a condescending manner might I add. I answered them. When I informed him that I was skeptical of leaving my purchase there, before I could explain, I was interrupted with the following comment: "Why? I have three million dollars worth of inventory; I don't want yours." To say that I was appalled is indeed an understatement. Clearly, MARK is a pompous, egotistical, arrogant business owner who does not value customer service or the opinion of other OWNERS who refer to him. Mr. Mark the three million that you boast of in your store is NOT too impressive when considering it is jewelry that you specialize in. I too am a business owner who's businesses are very lucrative. However, no amount of money or "inventory" will ever make me devalue what it is to make a customer feel appreciated and cared for. Impeccable customer service is INDEED a JEWEL that MARK at CAROLINA FINE JEWELRY does not carry in its "three million dollar inventory". Stay away from this place.

We went to Carolina Fine Jewelry based on the suggestion of a friend. They were easy to work with and listened to what we liked. They made the process of buying and selecting the engagement ring easy for my husband!

The staff at Carolina Fine Jewelry are very helpful and so nice! They take care of their customers. We bought my ring there and when we went back for my hubby's ring they took off a good chunk of the price for being a returning customer. They also cleaned and soldered my ring for free and ordered a new band for free when mine was too big! I would definitely recommend!
