If you expect to receive good customer service from this place; please re-consider. After making a very significant purchase from a notably prominent and successful local jeweler, the OWNER referred me to Mark and/or John (owners) of Carolina ...Fine Jewelry to get a second appraisal that I desired. Mark is who answered the phone, and from the very beginning I was a bit weary from his tone. He asked a few questions, in a condescending manner might I add. I answered them. When I informed him that I was skeptical of leaving my purchase there, before I could explain, I was interrupted with the following comment: "Why? I have three million dollars worth of inventory; I don't want yours."
To say that I was appalled is indeed an understatement. Clearly, MARK is a pompous, egotistical, arrogant business owner who does not value customer service or the opinion of other OWNERS who refer to him. Mr. Mark the three million that you boast of in your store is NOT too impressive when considering it is jewelry that you specialize in.
I too am a business owner who's businesses are very lucrative. However, no amount of money or "inventory" will ever make me devalue what it is to make a customer feel appreciated and cared for. Impeccable customer service is INDEED a JEWEL that MARK at CAROLINA FINE JEWELRY does not carry in its "three million dollar inventory". Stay away from this place.
