Carolina Love Events

h booking the "big" vendors, then a lull, then back to frenzy of details about 6 months out. Asheville was a destination wedding for us & Nikki went truly above & beyond!! She coorindated with all vendors, making sure we had everything we wanted. She answered our 500 question emails with patience, helped us find the right vendors for us, and even helped with a last minute vendor addition only 4 weeks out. She helped with budget questions, style questions, sent photos of linens & tableware, had facetime calls with me, my mom, and our big vendors to make sure we were all on the same page. The real stand out was having her on the day of. She made sure I wasn't stressed and when I started getting that way, she would pull me aside for a breather. I could not have made it through this day without her! Nikki & her team ensured our weekend and our day went smoothly and it was incredibly perfect.

the planning process but once we had a plan in place, I need someone to take it and execute it flawlessly. I am so lucky that Nikki with Carolina Love Events was that person. She gave me clear timelines and instructions, set realistic expectations when it came to the day-of timeline (wedding time is so very real) and took the lead when the time came with all my vendors to make sure everything was in place on time and flowed nicely the day of. She also was incredibly helpful in giving some great suggestions for vendors like our get-away car which is something we didn't initially plan for but are so glad that we did. In the photos below (she is in the gold), fearlessly leading our rehearsal and giving our bouquet honorees the bouquet which I honestly don't even remember giving to someone or putting down. Also, leading up to our wedding day, I was increasingly nervous about the rain forecast. When the day came and we made our way up to Castle Ladyhawke, it had actually already been raining and it was going to again right at our ceremony time. Nikki came right up to the bridal suite while I was watching the set-up getting rained on, asked what I wanted to do and I decided it would be best to relocate to being inside. Now from that point, I am not sure what went into taking apart and resetting everything for the Great Hall of Castle Ladyhawke but it was done by the time we came down for bridal party portraits. I am so so so so grateful and thankful that I had Nikki on my wedding dream team. She was a huge part of what made our day so magical and I would book with her again in a heartbeat!

They went above and beyond from the rehearsal to helping set up our after party! They were so flexible with any changes we needed and helped make sure everything ran smoothly so that we didn’t know what was happening behind the scenes. The team was so professional and our family was so impressed! I can’t say enough great things about Debbie and this amazing team!

ur first interactions were with Nikki, the owner, who has a level of wedding-related expertise that is truly unmatched, and somehow she is equally amazing as a person. You can call literally any wedding vendor in the Asheville area and mention Nikki’s name, and they will swoon then tell you how smart you are just for hiring her. …Because she’s THAT good. Nikki knows the industry deeply, can answer any question (no matter how obscure), and is always happy to help. We used the month-of coordination services but had early access to materials that supported and guided us through our planning. We even got discounts from other vendors because we were working with Carolina Love. As we got closer to the date, we were assigned a coordinator, Debbie Magalhaes, for our month-of and wedding day support. When I say I don’t know if the wedding would’ve happened without Debbie, I mean it!! Debbie took over all communication with our MANY vendors and ensured everyone was where they needed to be and had everything they needed to get set up despite the festivities spanning 18 acres. I gave her an example of what I wanted for my reception tables, and she executed flawlessly. The real fun began when, despite a 2% chance of rain, there was a torrential downpour just as I finished getting ready. Debbie came to me (drenched) and very calmly stated the situation, gave me two weather reports with the latest forecast, then presented me with options. Her calm demeanor kept me calm. I told her what I wanted and she didn’t bat an eye - just made it happen. I later learned more about Debbie’s heroism (she was MY hero that day!), though certainly I still only know the tip of the iceberg. Before I even knew it was raining, she’d noticed the darkening skies and quickly deconstructed my welcome and guest book tables before they were ruined, quickly shuffled guests indoors and kept them happy, and worked with my photographer to develop a new plan for our first look. The rain stopped within the hour and Debbie got everything back outside and set up with only a minor delay in the start time. I could go on and on but I’ll end with this: 1. If you want to enjoy your wedding day, budget for a coordinator (day-of at least). Seriously. Don’t try to do it without one. 2. If you’re getting married in western NC or the surrounding area, call Carolina Love. They know what they’re doing and are worth every. single. cent…even if it doesn’t rain unexpectedly. A bride could never be in better hands.

rience and wouldn’t change a single thing about my wedding day.

n every moment. Thank you Nikki!

amless. Kristy was our day-of coordinator and she was such a wonderful support on the big day. They definitely know what they're doing!

planning process. We got married in Asheville but live in Charleston, so she gave tons of great recommendations for all of our vendors. Obviously there is always some level of stress with wedding planning, but overall I felt so on top of everything due to Nikki’s help. I wanted to be involved in the planning process but needed someone to guide me, so if this is you then I recommend the month of package. A month out she pretty much handled everything and made sure all of the last minute small things were completed. I’m the day of everything went off without any issues! Beyond how helpful and organized she was, Nikki and her team were so kind. Truly a calming presence throughout the whole wedding planning process and the big day. I’d recommend Nikki to anyone!

venue that we never would have known about ourselves that was a perfect fit. She was so organized and on top of every little detail. There were so many details I never would have thought of that Nikki and her team made sure we had figured out. I cannot recommend them enough! I genuinely had a no-stress wedding planning experience of them and I was really able to enjoy the experience!

cluding rain for our outdoor ceremony) and Carolina Love Events handled with all of the hurdles with ease. They also did such an amazing job of keeping me calm on the wedding day, and leading up to it. Thank you!

r whole team. Highly recommend!

ors in the area. Their recommendations helped us make the best decisions and their oversight made our day perfect. We especially loved the connection to Homewood and Caroline Allured Catering. Our day of planner Kristy was so kind and accommodating. She immediately made me feel comfortable with her kind and personable nature. She created the perfect balance of making sure I had control of important decisions and taking initiative to execute them herself perfectly. I can’t imagine our wedding day without the guidance of Kristy and the Carolina Love Events Team.

absolutely loved my day of coordinator Deborah! She stayed on top of everything!

in dealing with crises. We definitely recommend using Carolina Love Events!

hat we don't remember the day at all like many people describe!). Highly recommend!!

was incredibly detail oriented and helped guide us throughout what could be an overwhelming process. I would definitely recommend this team for your big day

Love Events helped us narrow down what we wanted and get everything in order! Our wedding day was a breeze and truly so enjoyable thanks to CLE's organization. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

present during phone calls, and was amazing the weekend of. I don't know what we would have done without her and her team, and we feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work together!

imes before our wedding. Our questions were always answered completely and timely, the assistance prior to our wedding, and on the day of was absolutely amazing. Everything fell together perfectly, and I could not say enough about how happy we were. Our wedding was wonderful and CLE took much of the stress and worry off of us. VERY glad we had them!!!

tress off of us. We worked mostly with Nikki initially, then Debora leading up to the wedding, and Kristy was our day-of coordinator. All were wonderful but Kristy did an amazing job on our actual wedding day. She made everything run smoothly and was very attentive to my husband and I, even saving us appetizers from cocktail hour and offering to get us drinks throughout the night. Our experience was wonderful and I'd highly recommend CLE for your wedding!

d they made the day of our wedding go so smoothly--we didn't have to worry about anything. They also helped keep us organized during the planning process--would have been really difficult to do without some gentle guidance. My only complaint is that we had a very uncomfortable "30-days-out" planning call with the owner Nikki. It felt like we were being drilled by a drill sergeant on the details of our wedding, and made to feel like we were stupid for not having answers to some of her questions (no I didn't know I needed to decide what two witnesses were signing my marriage license 30 days out, for example). My fiance and I both felt very discouraged and put off after the call. To be fair, we did plan our wedding on a short timeline (5 months) so were a bit behind in the planning process--but I felt the bedside manner of a wedding planner should be more encouraging and understanding.

uld be amazing ! She never made me feel like I was asking to many questions or being a burden . I couldn’t have had the best day of my life without her help . Deboras communication was top tier and she had the best advice and recommendations . I am forever grateful for her and Carolina love events .

and beyond day-of coordination. We met with them multiple times, they kept us on track with timeline, they sent us recommendations for vendors, we used their discount codes for Minted and Generation Tux, and - most importantly - they made sure everything ran smoothly on the actual day. They're very organized and on top of their system, and they really know what they're doing. If you're anyone other than a professional wedding planner and you need coordination/planning services, hire them!

was a huge help and could not have done it without her! The whole process seemed so simple with her help. We highly recommend her!

d someone local who could recommend vendors and help us coordinate the logistics with the venue. Working with Nikki was simply the best! She handled everything from vendor recommendations to scheduling meal tastings to day-of logistics and setup. Because of Nikki, our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we, as well as our family, could enjoy the day without worrying about a thing. I cannot recommend Nikki & Team enough for your event planning needs!

nth-of planner, but I am so glad that we chose full-service. Life threw many curveballs our way this past year, and without Nikki, we would have never been able to plan such a memorable and special night. Thank you for making my llama/crowd surfing/foodie dreams happen, and for being there for both Nick and I throughout the entire process. You're the best! <3

n and learn about you, your partner, and your dream wedding. Our day was so perfect and the planning process was stress free! I can’t tell you how many people told me I was such a calm bride leading up to and on the day of the wedding. I kept saying “well, if you have a planner like Nikki, there is nothing to stress about!” She took care of everything and I can’t recommend her enough!

ble to piecemeal the day together with all of our favorite things, and really only reached out to the coordinator with vendor recommendations or quick questions (both of which google could have done). But come the day prior and day of—they’re worth their weight in gold. I selected Carolina Love Events based off my venues preferred vendor list and was paired with Heather almost 16 months out from my wedding date. Heather was very helpful so far out providing recommendations for vendors, and just basic questions. As the day got closer she coordinated more phone calls and created a detailed timeline with the vendors I selected and phone numbers. One week out she took over everything. I was hesitant to pass over all control of this day to nearly a complete stranger but the day went off without a hitch! Everyone was on time with deliveries, where they needed to be for pick up and she even distributed envelopes with tips to each vendor at the end of the evening. She and her assistant Megan were SO HELPFUL on the day of. They made sure we stayed on timeline, from the ceremony to the last song. We were hand delivered our first drinks, a mini charcuterie board during cocktail hour and the meal served…all the things we’ve heard from our married friends you need to make sure you do (eat!!). Finally, I showed up to the venue with a box of greenery and a picture of how I wanted the tables to look with printed table lists and said “I trust you guys”. Simple and elegant was what I was aiming for and they delivered!! We could not have asked for a better team to support us! If you’re unsure if the day of coordinator is worth it, take it from me, they are absolutely worth the peace of mind that the day the day runs smoothly. I highly recommend Carolina Love Events and Heather for anyone’s wedding!!

wedding. The best investment I made during our planning process was hiring Carolina Love! (And her pricing is extremely fair). Nikki picked me up from the chaos of planning and delivered everything promised. She was so easy to talk to, like we knew each other forever and made me feel so at ease during this process. She is the type of planner that is easy going but very thorough. I felt that she cared just as much about our day as we did. With her guidance we chose the best vendors and couldn't be happier with how or day turned out. We also used her for our floral services and that was just the cherry on top. She executed the vision for flowers perfectly, especially my bouquet (which is her favorite to make) was breathtaking. You will find a new friend in Nikki when planning and I would recommend Carolina Love Events to any and every one looking for a planner.

uld soon arrive and change everything. I never in a million years thought I’d face postponing our wedding three times, however thanks to Nikki it was a breeze! Our wedding in January 2022 was PERFECT! I was truly blessed and fortunate to have Nikki help me navigate the decision-making and working with our vendors, as this was a destination wedding. She was so kind and compassionate when my dear mother passed away two days before our 2nd wedding date. She handled the postponement and assured us through many phone calls she would help us keep our original vendors. Nikki is professional and has an amazing talent for making any wedding flow effortlessly. She was always calm and reassured us she would take care of it, and that she did! To me I never thought of her as our wedding planner but a good friend who gave us our dream wedding. She handled our floral arrangements and the flowers were gorgeous! If you desire a stress-free wedding, Nikki is your lady! She has a love and passion for making a dream wedding come true. With much heartfelt THANKS to Nikki and her entire team!!

verything was PERFECT for my day. I was lucky enough to work with her for more than 2.5 years thanks to covid and she was a huge support as we had to make tough decisions in postponing. She is incredibly kind, professional and supportive. However, if you have a vendor that is not doing what they should be, you better bet she is ready to put them in their place for you. Carolina Love Events is the whole package!!

ran on time according to schedule and coordinated closely with our other vendors. She was always available during the planning process whenever I had random questions or concerns. She’s approachable, funny, and knows what she is talking about! You can tell she has a lot of passion for wedding planning. I could go on and on about how wonderful she is and how great of an experience we had!

and have a full time job all by myself with minimal help...from another state. Definitely not one of my brightest moments. After being completely overwhelmed, Nikki swooped in with her soothing angelic presence and made everything so much easier. She is organized, she is kind, she is patient. She is THE BEST!!! I could write a book and just sing her praises. My wedding day was perfect and she is the reason. I don't just consider her my wedding planner. I consider her my friend. If you want your perfect wedding--Nikki is your person.

d dedication to her couples! Ours was a "destination wedding" and Nikki was constantly available to answer any and all questions we had. She provided amazing insight into other local vendors, hotels for room blocks and even provided a PDF of recommendations of things to do and where to eat/drink in Asheville - which was super helpful in putting together our website. Any vendor we told her we planned to work with, she knew them personally and had established relationships which made us feel so at ease since we were planning the wedding from afar. We also used CLE for florals and all our arrangements were STUNNING - we had an arbor for the ceremony, greenery along the twinkle lights in the tent, gorgeous bouquets and other floral decor - it was all literally out of a dream. Nikki also referred us to a vintage furniture rental company and worked with them directly taking one more thing off our list! We had a beautiful vintage lounge set for guests to relax, amber goblets to complete the look of our table setting and other pretty decor to complete the vibe. It was perfect! Nikki truly read our minds and knew exactly how to bring our vision to life. Pankti (also at CLE) helped us with our signs - from calligraphed seating charts and programs on huge vintage mirrors to watercolor art for our signature cocktail menu, she is such a talented artist and we're so happy we were able to work with her. Not only was Nikki an angel leading up to the wedding, but also "saved the day" on the day of! While we did have a rain plan, the ceremony was planned to be outside, and the day-of, I was a tad stressed watching the "chance of rain percentage" steadily increase in the forecast. Just as the party bus showed up at our AirBnB to take us to the venue, it started downpouring, thundering, lightening - you name it, either way it was not looking good. As we pulled up to the venue, the rain had stopped but we could still hear thunder rumbling in the distance and I knew any minute that it could start downpouring again. Nikki assured me the week before that she can always adjust the timeline a bit and usually finds a hole in the storm to hold her ceremonies outside - and sure enough - we not only had our ceremony outside, but the sun came out just as I started saying my vows. I know it's crazy to say Nikki controls the weather - but I will say this woman is a wizard at tracking a radar and I was so thrilled she was able to time everything perfectly. The whole CLE team was so chill and on top of everything and if anything went wrong we have NO idea! Nikki made sure the entire night ran smoothly and on schedule and it was perfect! Having Nikki there made the day so much more enjoyable, and definitely gave us the peace of mind we needed so we could just enjoy ourselves. Major, major thank you to Nikki and the whole CLE team!

dled everything beautifully - we would not have been able to do it without her. I could not recommend this company enough; the professionalism, attention to detail and responsiveness was exceptional.

not have a good handle on all the moving pieces. In comes Carolina Love Events! I reached out 2 months before my wedding and from the beginning intro call, I knew Nikki & team were going to be the perfect fit. They hit the ground running to get caught up to speed on all of my elements- immediately taking over vendor & venue communication. Nikki and Heather's attention to detail was incredible and their quick responses made me feel so secure leading into the final weeks. On the day of the wedding, if something went wrong, I had no idea. We were completely able to unplug and enjoy the day. I did hear about a few obstacles around needing more liquor, etc. and Heather reached out to my father and maid of honor to help coordinate rather than pulling me into the mix. She really understood my vision and helped all the other vendors execute on it and I can't stress enough how smooth the day was. "Experience" and "Timeline" was super important to me and Heather was on top of it. We are still getting comments about how smooth all of the elements were when transitioning from ceremony to cocktail to reception to dancing, etc. Thank you thank you thank you! We smile ear to ear when we reflect on our day and that is because Heather allowed us to be fully present.

everything so easy with the knowledge she possesses, it was such a breeze working with her. I wish everyone would choose this awesome team of ladies to help with their big day! You won't regret it!

super sweet and was there every step the day of! It couldn’t of gone more smoothly!

with a friend I had known for a long time. Pankti always had my back and asked all the right questions to make sure our big day was exactly what we wanted. I knew from the get go I was in good hands because after my first call with Pankti she had sent me an email with a spreadsheet of vendors she had worked with and recommended (only ones available for our date) with quotes already included. I don’t know how people plan weddings without planners and certainly not without a planner like Pankti. Every other wedding planner I talked to was more expensive and offered very limited calls and emails etc. Pankti helped me from day one and answered every question I had. I don’t even want to think of all the emails and calls she had with all the other vendors not counting the ones I was on. Pankti was so polite, professional, organized, easy to get along with… she even found small ways to help us stay on track with our budget so we wouldn’t be stressed out on our wedding day. Our venue manager even said before the wedding that they were already working on the next weekends wedding because ours was already so ready and put together because of Pankti. We also used their vintage rentals and it really made the space extra special. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner I hope you reconsider. You will not regret it. And make sure you ask for Pankti <3

very whim. She was knowledgeable, focused, efficient, and super friendly. I wasn’t as involved in the planning, but my wife legitimately considers Pankti a friend now. Our wedding was everything we dreamt it would be. It went off flawlessly because Pankti was there to make sure that it did. She kept my wife calm and level headed throughout the planning process and during the event itself. From a practical/financial standpoint, the price was shockingly reasonable for the amount of work Pankti put in. I honestly cannot say enough positive stuff about Pankti. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts and in our memories. Thank you Pankti!

My daughter's wedding was beautiful, and joyful. Nikki knows all the vendors and together they wove a magical day. I highly, highly, highly recommend!
