We couldn't be happier that we chose Lauren and Carolina Palms to photograph our wedding day! Leading up to our day, Lauren was very communicative and easy to work with to get us a...
ligned with everything we'd need for a shot last, flat lay items, and logistics for where she fit in our timeline. On wedding day, she and the second shooter she brought was such a calming presence working to get all the shots we wanted without adding any stress to the day. We received a sneak peak soon after the wedding, and once we received the full gallery, we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! The photos are so beautiful and really captured the joy everyone felt over the whole day. We couldn't recommend Lauren enough!
We got married on August 31st and we worked with Lauren as our photographer and all I can say is - Lauren is an absolute DREAM. I don’t even have the words to describe how fabulous...
she was on our wedding day. From the moment she arrived, she brought the calmest, happiest energy and instantly made everyone feel comfortable. She somehow managed to keep all 30+ people in the wedding party/immediate family on track while still letting the day flow naturally. She really felt like a friend who just happened to be capturing every moment beautifully.
Besides just being a generally wonderful person, the sneak peek photos we just got back are literally everything I hoped for and SO much more. I knew that photography was going to be one of the most important things for me from the wedding and Lauren nailed it. Looking at the pictures I can see all of the joy, love, and happiness captured and it makes me SO happy to know I'll always be able to see how much fun we had on our wedding day.
Early on in wedding planning I had been looking and looking for a photographer's style that felt natural and elevated without looking overly edited, and Lauren was the perfect fit. Despite my (now) husband and I not being the most natural in front of the camera, the photos all look effortless and dreamy while still feeling so much like us. All of our friends and family members are in love with the photos and I can't wait to see the rest!
I am so so thankful we had Carolina Palms as part of our wedding. Lauren really went above and beyond in every way from the very first phone call and can't say enough wonderful things about her!!

Fast forward to our wedding day and Lauren and her team were so encouraging, energetic, and kind and continued to make us feel comfortable throughout the wedding day! Aside from the posed pictures, we didn’t even notice pictures being taken and were able to enjoy our day without really knowing we were being photographed! We just received our wedding album and WOW! Lauren exceeded all of our hopes and dreams!!! Looking back at these pictures took us right back to our wedding day & the day was captured so beautifully. These are pictures we will cherish forever and are so proud to show our family and friends! We cannot say enough amazing things about Lauren!! We are forever grateful to you!!! eas we had previously discussed, she was prepared and on top of things. My partner and I are shy, and we told her that beforehand, she picked locations that were remote and definitely gave us some privacy to be ourselves. She was patient and gave it her 100% to make sure we get a gorgeous album to remember our special day by. I’m thrilled with the output and have truly found a friend in her. Wishing you more success, Lauren!
Lauren and her husband are amazing! They work is the best in the business. Our video and pictures couldn’t have turned out better. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

mfortable and confident in front of the camera. Her attention to detail is unmatched and I could see the creativity translate from her mind to her work. One thing that stood out the most about Lauren was her natural and professional way of posing and working with our wedding party and family members during wedding portraits. With everything going on and the excitement of the day, it can be difficult to corral everyone... but Lauren is an expert. We ADORE Lauren and her work and know you will too!!!

before our big day. She was so easy to work with, gave great direction, and made us feel confident in front of the camera. On our wedding day, she made sure to get all the pictures we asked her to get and made sure we got all the perfect shots while staying on schedule, as well as wrangling a large wedding party. Our photos are gorgeous and she was such a pleasure to work with! I would recommend her 100 times over!
My now husband (then fiance) and I traveled out of town (from MD) to Savannah with friends in April. Prior to our trip I had done some research on getting some engagement photos t...
aken while there. I reached out to Lauren and she was so incredibly responsive, accommodating, and sweet. I had found her through Instagram and immediately fell in love with her style of photography. After speaking with her, it was evident that she was the one I *needed* to take our engagement photos. She knew the best spots in Savannah to take photos and capture the aesthetic I was going for. A few days before our trip we found out our friend was proposing to his then girlfriend while we were down there. I contacted Lauren and she was so accommodating and helped us arrange and gift half of our engagement shoot to our newly engaged friends. Lauren was so incredible to work with and made us feel so at ease while styling us for our photos. Her photos and film helped us capture such a special trip and the experience with her is something that we will cherish forever. (She even forced some people to move out of our way to get some amazing shots in front of one of the fountains in one of the local squares- pretty amazing). We definitely plan to look her up again once we make a trip back down to Savannah and/or Charleston. The pictures turned out better than I could've ever imagined. Thank you, Lauren!

he is beyond talented and not to mention the sweetest person! We are so in love with all of our photos and can’t wait to see our video! Thank you Lauren!
You will NOT find a better photographer for your wedding. Lauren is beyond talented! My husband and I are really awkward in front of the camera and you would NEVER know from the fi...
nal product. Aside from the fact Lauren has an eye for artistic and creative photography (not your standard cheesy photos), she was able to guide us through our photo sessions so that we weren't left looking like two noodles in a picture. Our wedding photos look like magazine covers, and my husband is already making plans to blow them up for all see.
The second we met Lauren, there was an instant connection. Another thing that is incredibly important in finding the right wedding photographer. Lauren made it feel like we were old friends that were re-connecting without missing a beat! The comfortability that comes with that feeling allowed me to get out the jitters and feel secure knowing I had another familiar face, and friend at my wedding looking out for me throughout the night!
Overall, whatever your life event is - Lauren is THE gal to document it. Our wedding photos are beyond what we dreamed of, and we would 100% travel from our home in NJ down to South Carolina/Georgia to have photos taken by Lauren again. It is WELL worth the trip.
Thank you, Lauren! We truly appreciate you!
Search no further for your wedding photographer! Lauren is the BEST! I was so impressed with her work during my bridal portraits. She paid great attention to detail with fluffing m...
y dress and making sure I was not in direct sunlight. She continued to impress me the day of the wedding. She was calm and collected, helped gather people for photos, and ensured we stayed on schedule to get our sunset portraits. Also if you want a personable photographer, Lauren is so easy to talk to. She makes it a breeze and so much fun! She is your cheerleader on social media and feels like a longtime friend. Her editing style is timeless and because of her, we will have pictures to treasure forever. If I could give her 10 stars, I would.

with her is like communicating with a friend! She was on time to our event and made sure to capture all of the important moments plus more.
We can't say enough great things about Lauren. She photographed our intimate family-only wedding in November and our post-COVID celebration in May, and captured the special moments...
perfectly at both events. She was personable, actually listened to what we were wanting and felt more like a friend than a "vendor" at both events. She's not only a wonderful photographer, but she's calm, organized and detail-oriented, which is all that a bride needs on her big day. If we could give her (and Jeremy!) more than five stars, we would!
Lauren is such an amazing photographer with a great vision.
She's the ultimate hype girl and really knows how to make her shoots fun. I did a bridal portrait session with her in d...
owntown Charleston and she took me to the cutest spots and shot amazing photos.
She is flexible enough that my now husband and I were able to take first look photos the day of the ceremony, even though we decided against it... thanks to my nerves and anxiety, I just needed to see my groom and knew it would make me feel better. Lauren rolled with the change in plans- and got some of my favorite photos from the day during that first look.
Her assistant was so sweet and just as talented. They both helped calm my nerves until the first look photos and they kept family photos moving quickly after the ceremony. The candid shots they got during the reception were so sweet.
I'm so grateful to have found Lauren and her business, Carolina Palms Photography because she is truly an amazing photographer and person!
