She charged extra for eyebrows and fake eye lashes, which she failed to mention until she is charging for them at the end. Just in case you don't get the contract before the trial. She started on time and put my hair in large rollers (About double the size she did for the trial). My hair, on the wedding day, looked nothing like the trial. The curls were loose and falling from the moment she took them out of the rollers. She did not attempt to re-curl them or tighten the curls in any way. Luckily, the curls that were there lasted through the ceremony. My pregnant sister-in-law opted out of getting her makeup done because she is allergic to makeup, and being pregnant she wouldn’t be able to take any medicine to help cope. We should have had more time but that was not the case. We would have been late to the wedding if she had done everyone’s hair and makeup. Also, I did not receive the lip touch up that I already paid for. She says she left it on the counter but that is not true. I emailed Carolina to discuss some of the issues I had before mailing her tip and thank you card. She responded saying I was wrong about my critiques and "IT IS NICE TO GIVE TYP 25% OF THE PRICE YOU PAYED ... OR LEAST SOME MONEY !! HOW COME YOU DON'T KNOW THAT ?? HOW LONG DO YOU LIVE IN USA???” I explained why I did not tip her the day of, that I was trying to give constructive criticism and there was no need to attack me. She then responded with, "YOU ARE SUCH USA _____ !!” Using foul language towards a client is never acceptable. Just as I suspected, she is calling me a liar. Her response shows exactly how she was throughout the process.

"Big Day" I knew that she was the perfect person to make me look and feel amazing on my wedding day. She walked me through the process of finding ideas for hair and makeup (both of which I am totally clueless on) and made the whole process easy and stress free...exactly what you need as a bride- to- be in the throes of planning a wedding. Carolina is a true professional who's talent and passion shows in her work. I highly recommend her services, not only for hair and makeup for your event, but the hair pieces she made for me were beautiful as well!

She even made me custom hairpiece and veil to fit the style I picked out. On my wedding day there was a big thunderstorm that hit shortly after my (luckily indoor) wedding started, which meant one thing: high humidity. Even though I was sweating and dancing through it all, my makeup - which had been done hours earlier - did not budge and lasted the whole night. I had so many compliments on my hair and hairpiece as well! I would highly recommend Carolina's services to any bride-to-be!

! A lot!!! She really knows what she's doing! I told her what I needed, show her some pictures, and she did exactly what I wanted. She gave me ideas in things I wasn't sure about. She did several hair and make-up styles, as I needed different characters. She redid my hair and make-up every time it needed, so it always looked perfect! I keep getting complements from everyone about my hair and make-up on the pictures! She was very pleasant and easy to work with and it was very important to her that I look the best I can and that I'm happy with the results! Therefore I recommend her to anyone who needs quality hair and make-up! You'll be happy!! And you can save money at the same time!

up trial without asking if I wanted to incur an additional $15 fee, and the travel fee mysteriously increased by %50 from what we agreed on ahead of time. Watch out! Furthermore, the business website states that you receive a %10 discount for calling to book, but it turned out this discount did not exist. The lack of transparency was frustrating to me and my budget as a few hidden $10-$15 fees really add up. I requested that before/after photos taken not be used for the business's marking purposes, but she demanded that they be posted publicly or she would not show up the day of the wedding. Unfortunately she had not disclosed this requirement prior to my trial, and was ambiguous during the trial. As my bridal party and I were embarrassed to have unflattering "befores" shared with the world, I offered to provide wedding photos from our photographer that she could use, but she was unwilling to compromise. As the only reason to post these pictures to her site was for her own marketing purposes and gain at the expense of our embarassment, it just didn't sit right as paying customers. I pleaded again that she not post pictures, and was told "Thanks for wasting my (explitive) time" and hung up. As this was two weeks before the wedding, it added a lot of anxiety to my wedding experience to have her bail last minute!! I selected this vendor based on their many positive reviews and wish I had been aware that she would try to force me to help her marketing (at the expense of my own embarrassment and against my will) ahead of time. If she or a review had disclosed this, I would have been able to find a more compatible vendor, and avoid spending $240 on a wasted trial, not to mention the panic to find a new vendor. In my trial with Carolina, she did a good job on my hair, but was not willing to follow my vision for makeup so went a different direction. It is convenient that she does on location hair/makeup but should only be considered by brides that are willing to do whatever she says, have unlimited cash to cover her hidden fees, and a solid backup plan in case she bails two weeks before your wedding.

I almost decided to just do my own hair and make-up but decided to try one more trial run with Carolina and I am so glad I did! I have very oily skin and mild acne scarring and Carolina made me look FLAWLESS and the make-up lasted all day. She is truly your one-stop-shop for hair and make-up and does both equally well. Whatever vision you have, Carolina can achieve. On my wedding day, Carolina came to my apartment and I did not have to worry about anything. I literally rolled out of bed and let her work her magic. I was freaking out because I had a few pimples on my back and she covered those up- no problem! She calmed my nerves and got my day off to a wonderful start and set a great tone for the rest of the day. I was hesitant to wear false eyelashes but I am glad I trusted her. They turned out beautifully and did not look fake at all. If anyone has anything negative to say about Carolina’s work then you are crazy and impossible to please. CAROLINA: YOU ARE AWESOME!!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

is hard to believe that one person may be able to do make-up, hair, and photography but she is amazing at all three and is priced well below the competition who will just provide one service. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her services in the future if a baby arrives!

h the theme it was beautiful! She also customized my birdcage veil which I love. Carolina did my hair and makeup which she made me look "ravishing" is what I heard all evening! She made me some beautiful clip in hair extensions that match my red hair perfectly. I know this was a challenge!!! Everything from begining to end was perfection from Carolina and if I have any other events I will definately use Carolina as well as refer her to everyone. She is always prepared and is one organized individual! She truly customizes everything to match your personality and help be your unique self.

around preparing wedding. I did decide for her. Also didn't saw her pictures of make-up and hair and saw just a few pictures of wedding days. And I was really surprised. On the wedding day she came to my place at 5am!!! She did my hair and make-up, she made for me hair crown with stones exactly like my wedding dress. On the consultation I showed her pictures of hair and make-up that I wished to have. My hair are crazy and hard to give them some form, she did the hair PERFECT and even more beautiful then I saw on the pictures. Hair-do was half up and half down with curls. Make-up was amazing, I thought I can do to myself pretty make-up, but when I saw her job in a mirror I was really surprised. I had wedding day on New Year's Eve so after the ceremony we went to party celebrate our marriage and New Year. I had make-up and hair and ALL DAY and looked still like she made it 5min ago. It was definitely the best of my day. I felt like princess all day and night!!!! She also took pictures of my Bridal Portraits day and my big day, I never saw so amazing pictures. They looks so professional and they are really nice !!! We really did’t have a lot of time to do the Bridal Portrait and even I rush her, she did really good job, she calm me down, when I was really stress out and she acted professional every single minute. Carolina love her job and I thing that is very important. She is amazing woman, and very professional and friendly. She made my big day amazing and made me feel really special!!!! She was professional & really listened to what I wanted. I was very happy with the outcome. I felt confident in the way I looked on my wedding day & I love the way the pictures turned out!
