I knew I didn't want the typical pictures but something that was romantic yet had a level of elegance. To my pleasure, I was able to meet her on my wedding day and she was calm, collected and just a cool girl. pect, I would have liked to have Skyped her as a couple beforehand, so we weren't just meeting on the wedding day. Still, she was responsive via email when planning, and I had a brief phone call to ask some burning questions. She scoped out an off-site locations I suggested in case we had time, which we didn't. She was totally creative on site, so we didn't get the same old photos everyone at the venue has. Aside from loving her style, I wanted a photographer who could make our day look like a million bucks (it was far from that), and she did! Advice to anyone with any photographer: don't make any assumptions. One reviewer noted that there was a photo of every guest. While each guest appeared somewhere in a photo, wallflowers were not well-represented as subjects. I also assumed I'd snag a few photos with some significant people, but forgot. Tell Caroline, and she'll help you remember. I wish I had more events to hire her for!

Caroline, and her guest photographer, captured all of the special moments, even the little things, that my groom and I missed! It's great to have the photos to look back on and see through the story of the photos just how much fun everyone had at our reception! We look forward to staying in touch with Caroline and I hope someday I will have another reason to have her photograph us! I could not recommend her more highly. aroline. She obviously takes beautiful pictures, but she also made me feel comfortable and that my view point was important. I didn't want those cliche pictures of my dress hanging in front of the window, or our rings on a bible. But the pictures she was able to capture say so much more to me than those ever could. Like I said, we haven't received all of our wedding pictures yet, but I'm sure they will be beyond what I could possibly imagine. You won't be disappointed booking Caroline for any pictures you need. g. Our pictures are AMAZING. I can't tell you how many people have looked at our pictures & have said...these are the best wedding photos we've ever seen...and they aren't joking. They did such an amazing job capturing the essence of our wedding, the venue, the love, friendship, etc. You know when you have that moment and you say "I wish someone would have gotten a picture of that!" - well Caroline & Ben do! My dad kept saying - wait, so why would we bring photographers in from Austin to a wedding in New Orleans...and I kept saying, you'll know why when we get the pictures. Well, we just got the pictures back - and they are stunning…my dad agreed…they were totally worth it. One of the best parts is the slideshow they create. Every one I've seen that they have done I have absolutely loved (trust me, I watched a lot while researching photographers!). Caroline & Ben are husband & wife which makes it even more amazing because they work so well together. They’ll get pictures you have NO idea they are even taking – they are a stealthy duo that make you feel so comfortable. We loved having Caroline in the room with the girls & Ben with the guys while we were all getting ready. If you are thinking about going with Caroline + Ben – do it – it will be one of the best decisions you make. Pictures live on beyond the memories as you pass them down generation to generation…and it is an area in the wedding budget that is worth the investment. They rock, their pictures rock - and I can't recommend them enough!

In addition to getting the portrait shots and key moments every bride wants, they go above and beyond to capture those impromptu wild dance party / touching speech / heartfelt hug moments that truly made our wedding weekend. On top of that, they somehow managed to snap multiple shots of all 225 people at our wedding - they truly read a crowd and work with it! 2) How artistic and creative C+B manage to be, while simultaneously being completely unobtrusive. We got a lot of really stunning "artsy" shots that only they could have thought of, and they executed those shots extremely quickly and without interrupting the flow of the wedding at all - they just blend right in. 3) How pleasant Caroline and Ben were to be around. They were smiling faces, a calming presence and creative guides throughout our wedding process and particularly day of - I miss them now that the wedding is over! They have been extremely professional and timely with delivery of photos and guidance in creating an album as well. Overall, C+B exceeded our wildest hopes and I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone! AAK

ow we came across Caroline and Ben, we’re from England, getting married in Italy and they’re from Texas visiting Italy on their one year anniversary, as well as travelling to various countries in Europe. An English photographer recommended them and we’re forever grateful and happy that he did!! We first met two days before our wedding at our pre-dinner celebration and instantly saw how passionate they are for photography, as well as how lovely and friendly they both are. It was great seeing them chatting away with our guests. We just loved how relaxed they make you feel and how easy it was to talk to and have a laugh with them. We wanted REAL photographs, we wanted to capture ourselves and our guests in the moment, showing TRUE emotions and they did exactly that, but better!! We’re just overwhelmed and happy to see what actually happened on our day. We wanted a few posed photographs too and again we didn’t want the usual “bride and groom posed wedding photograph” we were so bored looking at these beforehand and just how unnatural they looked. We felt like we’d seen the same type and trends too many times. Caroline and Ben are another level, you’re posing for a picture but then they capture you laughing, or take the photograph from another angle that you didn’t even realise they were doing. They use whatever is around you as a prop and even use mirrors to capture you from another perspective. They include any rustic edgy background and breath taking views to give the photos a completely different look to how you could have imagined, but it’s all real. Their photos are so different, it’s just amazing how they do it!! Such a beautiful and fun couple with imaginative minds and creative talents that will be sure to take your breath away. Thank you for giving us a lasting memory that we couldn’t be more appreciative of. Can’t wait to see you in London next summer!!

e more than just pictures of pretty people, they truly are art with a soul and a sense of humor. Caroline and Ben have a fantastic prep process. It seems simple, but the questionnaire and other items they request you complete really take the pressure off on the big day. They were well prepared and extremely organized throughout the entire process which, obviously, puts a bride at ease. We were lucky enough to have both Ben and Caroline on our wedding day. Caroline stayed with me, the bride, and Ben spent part of the day with the groom and his groomsmen. They both took the time to chat everyone up and help people to relax in front of the camera. Within the hour, they were just like one of the gang which allowed everyone to act naturally, as if it was just any other day. They were both so kind, patient, and easy to be with that it was a pleasure to spend the day with them. Ben had his hands full with the groomsmen, but he still managed to capture some amazing moments that he may never truly know how thankful we are to have. Both Caroline and Ben rocked the reception and created a compilation that is hilarious, beautiful, and heartwarming which is everything we wanted the memories of our wedding to be. We will never be able to thank them enough for the gorgeous work they did for us. These two are the best of the best and I'll definitely be looking for excuses to use them in the future!

hey are really good about capturing the regular moments that all the photographers get, but then are able to also make pieces of artwork that are just stunning photos that you happen to be in! Ben was really easy to work with, made us feel comfortable and was kind to family and friends when trying to get everyone in order. I would HIGHLY recommend them if you want above and beyond the normal "traditional" wedding photos and actually want some pieces of true artwork to have in your home.

Ben went out of his way to meet with me over the phone, by Skype, and in person to finalize details and answer my many questions, even though I was several time zones ahead of him and planning my wedding from overseas. Both Caroline and Ben were prompt, super friendly, and practically invisible photography ninjas on our wedding day, which made the whole process easy-peasy. They managed to capture so many amazing moments in time, which was invaluable since the whole day was a blur for my husband and me. And for the loads of talent they bring to the table--they're seriously the best photographers I've ever seen, and I did a TON of research--they're very moderately priced. From the great heart they bring to what they do to the fun they add to the process, from the beautifully engraved flash drive they put our photos on to the artistic slideshow they created that caused me to shed a few tears, they're simply the best. My only regret is that we didn't have them photograph our rehearsal dinner too.

It was the easiest decision I made for our wedding... these guys have only been out of school doing this a few years and that blows my mind... their work is unique and stunning! They are such a joy to work with and at the end of the day the photos speak for themselves-it's obvious they are very passionate about what they do. Don't hire photographers that are burned out and will cut corners. After all the flowers and music are gone, all you are left with are the photos and videos and trust me, they capture moments that preserve the true spirit of your day without missing a beat! I never even noticed them at the wedding but based on the photos, it's like they had eyes all over the room. She has a good eye for getting the right shots at the right moments without you even knowing she is there. Caroline is so creative and innovative with the photos and moments that were captured. Ben could have not done exactly that more perfectly than what he did and there was not ONE picture we didn't love!! My husband and I laughed and cried going through them time after time seeing the most important and tiniest details captured and seeing the tears and smiles and laughter of each person there. They are stunning. I have nothing but beautiful things to say about Ben and his work because that is what he gives you! We were beyond lucky to have Ben there for our wedding and if we were to do it all again there is no one else I would want but Mr. Godkin himself...he is truly the most talented and gifted photographer I know and has given us irreplaceable memories that will last forever.
