on. I did all of that, except my FIRST meeting was with Caroline - and I knew ten minutes in that she would be in total control of capturing the most important day of my life. She listened to absolutely everything I wanted. She remembered what was important from the first conversation to the day of. Her communication was on point - even as she could tell I my type A personality was getting the better of me. She made sure everything ran smoothly and I honestly couldn't have survived that day without her. You're not just looking for a photographer - you're looking for someone who understands who you are as a couple, what you need, and the memories that you want to look back on 20, 40, & 60 years from now. , dependable, and compassionate. She is exactly the type of person you would want to spend time with on your wedding day. Let me explain. In early December, my mom was told she had roughly 2-4 weeks to live (she's been battling ovarian cancer for a few years now). The news was terrible and shocking, especially since we were in the middle of planning a May 2018 wedding. We immediately went to work putting together a small church ceremony that next weekend so my mom could be there the day we were married. My planner reached out to a number of photographers, and Caroline responded right away. When the photographer we originally went with stopped responding to my calls the day before the wedding, we reached out to Caroline, who despite having no notice, immediately agreed to help. She called me that night so we could talk about the logistics. Caroline was extremely compassionate about my situation, taking only the time she really needed to speak with me to get organized for the next day. The day of the wedding, she showed up to the church early to scout out some good family picture locations. She then immediately went to work taking pictures. After the very short ceremony, we all followed Caroline outside to her selected location, which was absolutely perfect. She has a great eye for picture backdrops. Even though my family can be loud and chaotic, Caroline took charge and put everyone in order. Family pictures took only 20 or so minutes because of Caroline's organization. Caroline also made sure she took some special pictures of just my mom and me. After, she took pictures of just Frank and me. Her pose suggestions were very comfortable and natural. In total, Caroline donated (that's right, donated) an hour of her time. On the day of your wedding, you're going to spend more time with your photographer than with anyone else. Spend it with someone who is selfless, generous, organized, detailed, and just plain nice to be around. Spend it with Caroline.

I can't say enough how much I love our pictures, and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly we received them. Caroline was professional, timely, and flexible from start to finish of our wedding planning. My parents and wedding party all commented on what a great job she did that day and continued to be impressed after receiving our pictures, as well. I intend to continue using Caroline as a photographer moving forward and would absolutely recommend her to other brides!

etails for the big day, which made me feel at ease knowing she was prepared. We had a LONG day, she was with us from the beginning at 9am well into the night and she didn't miss a beat! We had a large wedding party and she directed us, placed us in position quickly without wasting time and got AMAZING shots. As to be expected, we got our pictures by the end of October and they are phenomenal! Caroline is definitely a must, never disappoints, and I can't wait until the next time I need a professional photographer, she is my only choice for the best in St. Louis!!

were impressed with her portfolio and she fit our budget, but we made the final decision to go with Caroline for our wedding photos because we really actually liked her (important since the photographer is someone who will be hanging around with you all day on your wedding day)! At our engagement session, I realized how amazing Caroline really was! It was 95 degrees, I had a misbehaving dog running around, and a husband who HATES getting his picture taken. Somehow, she was able to get some amazing photos in a really short time frame. Caroline continued to impress with our wedding day photography. She and her second shooter captured our day perfectly with a beautiful collection of a majority of photojournalistic shots along with some traditional portraits. Caroline posted “sneak peeks” on Facebook and Instagram that received tons of compliments from our friends and family. She finished editing our photos quickly, and we were able to see proofs online before we were even home from our honeymoon! We are in the process of choosing photos to be included in our wedding album, and there are so many good ones, it is difficult to narrow them down (what a nice problem to have)! Caroline exceeded all of our expectations from start to finish, and we cannot recommend her enough!

wonderfully!!! Throughout the whole process she was very responsive to messages and questions and really listened to us to get what we wanted! We did not want solely the posed portrait photos, but more of a capturing of the whole day and Caroline succeeded in this with her documentary style—which I loved! She had a plan but was also flexible (adding another group we forgot to list on the portrait list or running down to a different section of the building-- less picturesque, but where we met!). Her pricing is extremely reasonable and I never felt like she was trying to up-sell me on anything—just really straightforward. Another great thing was that she got the pictures back to me within a few weeks. I know other friends who had to wait months to see theirs! Overall Caroline was great and I would recommend her to anyone looking for wedding photographer—or photographer in general!

er photograph a couple of the most special events of my life. In the fall of 2014 my fiance and I were able to work with Caroline as she offered to work with us on our engagement photos. My fiance (now husband) isn't one who enjoys "posed" photos, he prefers to have shots of us doing what we love, that really capture the essence of who we are. At the end of our session with Caroline he asked, "She's going to be at our wedding as the photographer, right?" He had so much fun, and Caroline was really able to shoot photos that didn't give the posed feeling- we climbed a tree! Wedding day came, and I was so excited when Caroline arrived to take shots of everyone getting ready, and of our dresses all together before we were dressed. Then she was off to ceremony venue before anyone arrived and was able to get some really beautiful shots. She even came along with us to a bar between the wedding and reception and was able to get what are now a few of my very favorite photos, these photos tell a story, it's almost like you can feel the love of the moment by just looking at them. Caroline was so easy and fun to work with, I didn't have any concern at all that we wouldn't end up with amazing photos. I was also very pleased with the turn around of time for editing and getting all of the photos back, it was the best Christmas gift I've ever received. I was like a 6 year old girl on Christmas morning when the link came through with all of the photos, and I wasn't interested "playing" with anything else that day. Caroline was so easy to work with and was really able to capture the love that we shared that day with one another and also all of our friends and family. I will forever cherish all of the photos, and I can't wait until I'm able to call her and share the excitement of needing to book maternity and new born photo sessions. Thank you for everything. If you're looking for an engagement and wedding photographer, no need to look any further.
