Even before we signed a contract, she was so sweet and helpful with a few suggestions after I shared some details about our wedding with her. At that point, we knew this was the gal for us and it was quite possibly the best decision we made in the planning process! On the day of the wedding she truly outdid herself by bringing her own stash of bonus items (easels, a cake plate, and a “mountain toiletry kit” to name a few). She and her team maneuvered specific obstacles so that every guest and especially the wedding party could fully enjoy this special day. She provided (and updated) timelines, communicated with all vendors (and recognized them on social media), handled surprise weather and venue challenges, directed setting up, completed cleaning up, helped with dressing up and even provided follow up! She brought her rain boots, we popped open an umbrella, and took one of the most breathtaking wedding photos out of them all outside the Lesner Inn. It’s a black and white photo of my husband and I taken at the end of the night while we kissed under an umbrella. I will admit, I’m very type A, and when meeting with Carolyn I had a binder ready to go. I knew what I wanted, I knew my vision, yet she helped bring my chaos of ideas to life. She also broke our wedding down in chunks and allowed me to focus on certain items at different stages of the planning process, Versus getting to overwhelmed. I’ll never forget seeing the reception area for the first time. We had so many “diy” elements in our wedding and so many different pieces, finally seeing it all in one place was breathtaking. I will be celebrating my 5 year wedding anniversary in 2 days, and I still think about our wedding day. Carolyn is a magical, majestic wedding goddess who will make you feel so special. She will mama bear you when you need it, re-direct you if you get frazzled, and awe over you in your dress. She will also tear up at your family’s speeches with you, and become your confidant. She is your best friend, and the person who can make your weird relative happy when no one else can! She will run drinks, bustle a dress, wipe a tear away, and be your advocate when your family is being weird, or not allowing you to be heard. She’s amazing.

And that’s where she really shined helping to bring to life an amazing ice sculpture feature and making it happen while I was busy working and preparing for the wedding. Not to mention, my original wedding had to be cancelled four days before the wedding due to an impending hurricane and Carolyn spent all morning calling all of my vendors to cancel, and then calling them again to reschedule for the following month. She had spoken to everyone and had everything moved to our new date in a matter of hours. We were so lucky to be surrounded by such a kind and supportive team on our wedding, and leading up to it. She is worth every penny and more, I promise you will not be disappointed!
