Carolyn is incredible and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get photographs taken! Carolyn photographed our wedding and made us, two very shy and awkward people, feel comfortable in front of the camera and made the whole process enjoyable. She spent time to get to know us as a couple and learn all of the things that are most important to us. Carolyn is very responsive and sent us our sneak peek photos so quickly, she captured all of the tiny details of my families property, the DIY portions of our wedding, the little details and moments, and people's genuine smiles and interactions. The aesthetic of all of our photographs are beautiful and captured my husband and I perfectly. Carolyn is a joy to work with and so much fun ( we took pictures with a few animals that happened to be around during our shoots) which has become a special memory for us. I highly recommend Carolyn and loved working with her!!

Carolyn is absolutely incredible!! We wanted our wedding photos to be a unique style that represented us and that captured the moment and not the pose. My husband and I knew Carolyn would take gorgeous photos, but when she sent us our album we were blown away at how she captured the energy of the entire day within each photo. Every time we look at the photos, they transport us back to that moment, and to that feeling of pure love and joy. I was planning to wait until after our wedding to leave a review but Carolyn is just too good to wait on. I was really specific about the photographer that I wanted for our engagement and wedding photos. I didn't want to feel posed. I was looking for someone who understood the beauty of capturing people just being happy and in love. It sounds simple but trust me when I say that Carolyn does it better than most. She was so helpful as we settled into being in front of the camera but then let us go about as ourselves, ensuring us that what we were doing was the right thing. Honestly we felt a little awkward at first and she just kept saying, everyone who thinks they're being awkward end up having some of the best photos, and she was right. The pictures turned out so beautifully and they captured us as we truly are. No strange poses or forced smiles, just raw, unobstructed love. We had fun and laughed a lot and romped around the woods with our dog and you see all of the moments of pure happiness and love come through in every shot. Especially the film photos, oh my goodness her film photos are pure magic. I cried when I received them. I already know that hiring Carolyn will be one of the best decisions I've made for my wedding.

Carolyn captured my vision of my wedding day so beautifully my husband and I cried at even our sneak peek photos. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease during our entire wedding day. Not only that- she made sure to coordinate that the second photographer ( shout out to Kristy) we wanted was secured - the two worked together like a dream! Even the hiccups on our wedding day she managed with ease and made those moments look perfect too!!! Our jaws dropped at every photo we received in our sneak peek. We are elated we chose Carolyn for our wedding photographer and our hearts are so full that she captured the love of our wedding day and to have these pictures to look back on for the rest of our lives.

Carolyn photographed my daughter’s wedding just three weeks ago. Several of our guests commented to me what a wonderful job she did in that she just did her job and was basically “invisible” the whole time. Carolyn posted a few photos the next day and sent a whole file to my daughter two days after the wedding. The photos are absolutely gorgeous!

After doing so much research, I fell in love with Carolyn’s aesthetic and was so happy that she was available for our wedding date. We met for the first time during our engagement shoot - she recommended a location (beautiful) and made us feel at ease during the entire session. Her approach is to capture you naturally, so there wasn’t a ton of direction but WOW the photos are gorgeous. We ended up canceling our wedding due to covid, but ended up doing a pregnancy and subsequent family shoot. We will cherish the stunning images forever. Carolyn is a talented professional and well worth the investment. We hope to work with her again.

We hired Carolyn as our wedding photographer based on her laid-back personality, gorgeous galleries, natural style and experience in similar venues. Now, after having our engagement shoot a few weeks ago and getting those photos back, we are 6,000% happy with our choice! 11/10 would recommend Carolyn for your wedding photography. It rained the entire time of our engagement shoot but Carolyn was prepared and super fun to work with. She made us feel comfortable in a less than ideal weather situation, and helped us enjoy every moment of the shoot. And, most importantly, the photos blew us away! Carolyn is absolutely amazing! Hiring a photographer for your wedding is a big decision and I’m so glad I found her. She worked with us for both our engagement photos and wedding photos and even went the extra mile to check out our venue before the date of our wedding to scope out good photo spots. We were able to add on a second photographer last minute which was great. She was even able to get some really great photos of my now husband who hates taking pictures. It was such a pleasure to work with Carolyn! We initially chose her as our photographer because we loved the way she captured landscape within her photos as well as her subjects. When my husband and I were first looking for wedding photographers, I remember how overwhelming the options were - especially since I’m extremely indecisive! We somehow came across Carolyn’s website/social media and we’re so glad we did! Carolyn was so easy to work with and worked closely with us on the timeline and shots we wanted to capture. The day-of, we worked with Carolyn and her second photographer SJ who were both so lovely, thoughtful and fun to be around. My husband and I haven’t ever gotten professional shots taken, and they were great with helping us pose and at the same time took amazing candid shots. They both really went above and beyond our expectations - and the photos came out AMAZING. And bonus points for them coming prepared - Carolyn with scissors for all of my bridesmaids who needed to cut the tags off their dresses and SJ for coming with a sewing kit which came in handy for my husband who somehow ripped his pants while taking portrait shots. We HIGHLY recommend working with Carolyn!

Hiring Carolyn as our photographer for our wedding day was THE BEST decision ever! She is incredibly talented, patient, on time and professional! She was able to capture so many sweet moments and all of the in between! Her editing and style is amazing, and has such an intimate and genuine feel to it! Coming from someone who is VERY uncomfortable being in front of a camera and the center of attention, she really made me feel at ease and got incredible shots! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I am still in awe over Carolyn’s photos from my engagement session and wedding. I remember when I first got the link to my engagement photos from her and my jaw literally dropped. I never thought my husband and I would have such amazing photos of ourselves! She has been so professional and patient with us as we’ve had to make a lot of changes with COVID. I can’t wait to work with her again for our big wedding after COVID! You will absolutely not regret booking with her once you see her photos of you and how perfectly she captures your style and relationship!

My fiance and I were so excited to find Carolyn. Her style was exactly what we were looking for - nothing posed or cheesy, instead, artistic but without leaning too "moody." She was so laid back and getting to know her during the engagement session was great because we felt even more relaxed on the wedding day. Like so many others, Covid threw us for a loop. We postponed and then eventually had to go to plan C, dropping from 150 guests to 21 and finding a new venue just two weeks before the wedding. But Carolyn was so flexible through it all and often checked in to see how we were doing. She even offered to adjust the price to match with what our new plan required. She did not have to do that. In fact many of our vendors held us to original prices (or added). The fact that she offered without us asking shows she's not just talented, but a truly good person. We just got our wedding pictures back and they're stunning. Based on the engagement session, we knew they would be. Her photos really are works of art...now the problem is choosing between all of them! I can't recommend Carolyn enough!

Carolyn Jorgensen Photography, I truly do not even know how to begin with how wonderful this girl is. She is a true wizard in the world of photography. Let me start with the engagement session, my fiancee was totally not looking forward to this. Carolyn was able to capture my big tough man and make him feel completely comfortable and at ease. She climbed around in our woods, meadows and fields with cameras draped over her shoulders to capture every single setting I had ever dreamed of doing together. Seeing the engagement photos for the first time I knew I had probably made the best decision of my entire wedding. On to THE BIG DAY! She showed up promptly on time with her second photographer who was also an absolute photo wizard herself. Carolyn proceeded to capture every single detail down to my ceremony cards and fur shawl. She was able to capture truly us in the simplest most elegant loving way. My entire wedding party and guests commented all day and night about how wonderful she was. She was truly a part of the wedding and not just there to snap a couple of photos. I really mean it when I say she was the best decision I made that day, (aside from marrying my husband,) she was able to capture the best day of our lives in the most perfect way. I have just received my sneak peak and I am already in tears. If you havent booked her already you better hurry, this girl is on FIRE! Thank you SO much Carolyn! We love you!

Do yourself a favor and book with Carolyn! She was so personable and sweet and working with her was a joy. Our engagement shoot had to be rescheduled a few times and when we finally arranged a time, it was miserable weather.. but somehow Carolyn made it super fun and the pictures turned out gorgeous. Choosing a wedding photographer is a critical piece of wedding planning. It was very important to invest in our wedding photos as beautiful keepsakes and capture the essence of the day. Carolyn delivered. Once we saw her gallery, it was an easy decision; we knew she was the one. She and her assistant were always on time, kind, professional and a wonderful joy to work with. She took a lot of pressure off planning by having plenty of ideas (e.g. the timing for the sun's best light) and poses to help us through the whole experience. We were anxious about being in front of a camera but because of her approachable demeanor, she quickly took away those nerves and helped us relax. I highly recommend going on an engagement shoot with your photographer as well. It's a great ice breaker. Carolyn is an absolute delight and so is her art. If we turned back the clock to last year, we would hire her gorgeous photography every time. I will recommend her to all my friends.

Carolyn was absolutely amazing to work with and she is a phenomenal photographer. In the process of finding a photographer, we were really looking to work with someone who could capture us for who we were and determined to find someone we could be comfortable around. This meant our genuine expressions, interactions, and emotions. We knew that we weren't going for the dramatic pictures, but pictures that really showed our true selves. After talking to a whole list of photographers, we are so grateful to have found Carolyn by her reviews online! From the initial conversation over the phone, we immediately hit it off and felt like we were just having a conversation with a friend. She was able to speak to her professional photography experience, but also show us her personal side -- meaning that she's an awesome human that absolutely loves animals. We took our engagement pictures with her around Philadelphia. It was the windiest day ever and I remember hoping that we had at least 1 good picture from that super cold day. But throughout the session, she was so great to work with and made us feel as comfortable as possible. With this being our first professional photoshoot, she made it so easy for us to feel like we were just having a date in Philly. I remember her specifically saying that she was just a friend 3rd wheeling with us and not to mind her. We did just that and within a few hours of our photoshoot, she texted me a picture and we were absolutely AMAZED. Shortly after, she sent us a sneak peek album and ALL of the pictures turned so awesome. We were so so so so happy with the way everything turned out and could not wait to work with her on our wedding day. We ended up using our engagement pictures on our save-the-dates (like 8 of them!!), table numbers, seating arrangement board, and on the DJ's screens because we couldn't get over how amazing they turned out to be. As for the wedding day, Carolyn & Kristy were so awesome overall. Our prep call with Carolyn days before was so helpful and just made the day go so smoothly. Like I mentioned, Carolyn is just an awesome human to begin with! I specifically remember that throughout the day, things would be super chaotic and I would sometimes just look at her and she was just reassure me that things will be OK. She was so personal and took the time to take such candid and thoughtful pictures of us throughout the process of getting ready, during the ceremony & reception. She was so patient, flexible, and accommodating -- that we couldn't have asked for a better photographer! Within a few days of our wedding, she sent us sneak peeks while we were still on our honeymoon and couldn't help but stop and look at the pictures. Carolyn is the absolute best! When I started looking for a photographer, I found myself getting lost in all of her photos of other couples’ engagement shoots and weddings and just loving all of it. She was the first vendor I hired because her work is amazing (just look at the photos--they speak for themselves!) and realllllly wanted her to be part of this experience. Communication is great and she was so helpful through this whole planning process. It wasn’t just another cold business deal like with other vendors, it felt more personal. We had an amazing experience with Carolyn as our wedding photographer. We did an engagement photo shoot with her as well. I cannot say enough about Carolyn. Both my husband an i are uncomfortable in front of the camera, but she has a way of making you feel comfortable. Her artistic ability is unlike any others. Our engagement photos and our wedding were captured perfectly. She is willing to go through any terrain to get the perfect photos and she included our dog, and the venue’s farm animals in our photos which mean so much to us. Because of how good she is, we chose to forego a videographer. We are so happy we went with her and we highly recommend booking her!

Carolyn's photographs were so incredibly beautiful they make my heart melt every time I look at them (which is a lot). Carolyn was super laid back and easy to work with - she was also floating through the wedding and I never even knew she was there - capturing all of the most perfect moments without interrupting! Carolyn's second photographer was also fantastic and we would definitely recommend hiring both of them as it makes the day so much easier! Another added bonus about working with Carolyn is that she shares the photos incredibly fast! I had my sneak peak the Monday following my wedding day (unheard of!), and then the final photos about 5 weeks after (all the photos are shareable and downloadable). You then also get a USB with all of your photos for ease! All in all if you want natural, candid, and absolutely stunning photos at a fair price then go with Carolyn!!

I am obsessed with my wedding pictures! I was looking for a photographer that would capture who we were as a couple without overposed looking pictures, and I’m so glad I found Carolyn! Her second photographer that she had with her was equally as amazing and they worked so well together. Everyone keeps asking me who our photographer was!! I highly recommend her to anyone!

Carolyn was everything you could ask for in a photographer. She was easy to work with, made us feel totally comfortable and of course delivered the most amazing photographs we could ever ask for. Carolyn- we can't thank you enough for capturing our special day so perfectly.

Carolyn Did a spectacular job with my daughter's wedding she was very creative artistically using jewelry,make up ,and the bride's shoes as props for some great pictures. Carolyn went a step above including the flower girl (as her assistant) to get some great pictures of her with the bride. Carolyn was always professional and kept everyone on schedule even though there was a wedding planner in place,she was a step ahead of everyone and managed to get some magical pictures of the outdoor space with the sun at just the right placement behind the bride and groom.I would highly recommend Carolyn Jorgensen Photography.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the beautiful work and extremely high level of professionalism by Carolyn Jorgenson. My wife and I were married October 15th 2016 in Corolla North Carolina. This was one week after the Outer Banks was slammed by Hurricane Matthew. Needless to say the week was extremely chaotic. Streets were flooded everywhere and there were several days where parts of the island were without power. Carolyn did not let this stop her from making the hike from Pennsylvania to North Carolina to be a part of our big day and capture some of the memories. Her patience was top notch. Once again, stress levels were high not only because it was a wedding, but also because of all that had occurred just days earlier with the natural disaster. The original ceremony site was under two feet of water. Adjustments were made and Carolyn was exactly where we needed her when we needed her. She was able to offer up suggestions on where to have additional photographs taken and they turned out amazing! I found out at a later time that Carolyn did much more than just photography that day. My wife’s Maid of Honor turned out to be a total “dud”. I mean absolutely worthless and help in no way shape or form. Carolyn could tell that my wife was stressing that certain goals were not being accomplished by the Maid of Honor due to her incompetence so Carolyn offered additional services and assisted with a few of the arrangements and picture frames that were to be placed out on display. These generous acts will never be forgotten. The professionalism that came with the services were outstanding and beyond what we had expected. I would highly recommend Carolyn Jorgenson to anyone getting married and in need of an extremely talented photographer!

We booked Carolyn for a family photo sessions for the holidays. She was very professional, friendly, and easy to work with! I had a few ideas of photos I wanted, and Carolyn was very receptive to any of our ideas. She also took a bunch of candid photos, which winded up being our favorites! I was really pleased to have a variety of photos to choose from. We plan to book Carolyn again and recommend her to any friends/family looking for a photographer!

Carolyn was amazing! Our wedding photos could not have been more beautiful and looking through them made me truly feel like I was reliving our day. She was very flexible when our timeline needed to be adjusted and was super easy to work with. I was stressing out about having fake smiles in all of the photos but she made it really easy to relax in front of the camera. Carolyn did our engagement photos and our wedding photos. She was so incredibly professional, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. During our engagement shoot, she made us feel at ease (even my fiance had a blast in front of the camera). She even captured so many great photos of our stubborn dog! The photos all came out gorgeous. Our friends, family, and coworkers all came up to us and said the photos were all unique and incredibly impressive. On the morning of our wedding, Carolyn came early and took pre-wedding photos. She was so professional and took so many unique candid pics of the mass hysteria that was my house. My friend even commented that she was so impressed with Carolyn during the church ceremony because she was taking lots of photos while being so quiet and swift. A few days after the wedding, I had gotten hundreds of photos, one better than the next. It was difficult finding favorites because all of them captured so much. So much emotion, laughter, dancing, fun, etc. Even the old grumpy dog in his tuxedo was caught smiling. I highly recommend Carolyn. She is such a friendly, professional, down to earth, fun photographer and I am so lucky to have found her.

Amazing Photos!!! Carolyn took amazing photos for our engagement and goes above and beyond for clients. She not only arranged a surprise engagement photo session for us (with the help of my husband), but captured staged and non-staged photos! We highly recommend her!

Carolyn was involved with planning, filming, and photographing my proposal to Brittney and arranging and taking engagement photos. She is extremely creative and adventurous—she arranged for a tandem bike photo shoot in the snow! Thanks for helping us capture some great memories!
