Diane was so kind and easy to work with. The facility is very well run and a great size for a reasonable price. I would tell anyone and everyone to check this place out!
A simply rustic feeling. The Carousell Works was so great to work with. She does seasonal decorations so you do not have to fill the whole space. We were able to bring in our own l...
iquor that allowed us to have what we wanted without breaking the bank. Catering Event is separate but operates from within. You won't find better food.
I loved working with this team my bridal shower was also hosted here.
Overall, a good experience.
Pros: helpful staff; great food; good price; beautiful main room; let us decorate the night before since there wasn't an event; bringing in our own ...
alcohol let us do open bar for what it would have cost for just beer at another place; they helped pack our stuff up at the end of the night
Cons: don't have the option to charge for liquor since they don't have a license; I've heard from a couple guests that the bartenders were somewhat rude and the one serving the beer said we ran out throughout the night even though we hadn't and we ended up having a 1/2 keg go to waste as a result; the sound quality is pretty bad and there are no speakers in the entrance room/bar area so announcements were only heard by those on the dance floor
We checked out this place for our expected 200 guest wedding and my main turn off was that 200 people could not be seated without having to dissemble a few tables after dinner to c...
reate a dance floor. I did not want some of my guests to lose their table. There is a lobby/sitting room area that is very old/has a country feeling that some people may find charming. I did not find out dinner costs, but they have an in-house caterer to work with. The lady who gave us a tour was very nice and I'm sure lovely to work with, however we chose a different location for our reception.
My ratings for quality, service and value are based off a half-hour meeting, so take them with a grain of salt.
Dianne was so helpful in the planning process, doing whatever she could to make things easier for me. She was super flexible in letting me decorate early, and I was so happy with h...
ow everything turned out! Truly a beautiful space, and it worked great for us.
I loved this venue. Beautiful building easily seats 300 guests without crowding. Former Big Lake High School gym and stage area have been beautifully restored. Complete with hig...
h ceilings, gorgeous hard-wood floors and huge windows.
Diane and her staff were so pleasant to work with. Everything turned out so well, we couldn't have been happier. It was so nice to find a reception site to accomodate so many guests and be something other than a Legion or VFW. Loved that they had a set-up bar, so we were able to provide drinks for our guests much more reasonably than we could have done anywhere else.
Great are for social hour and bar so guests could visit a bit away from the DJ and dance area.
They made sure all details were accounted for our whole day was absolutely perfect.
We could bring in our own alcohol which allowed us to have an open bar. The reception area was gorgeous they had some decor we could use and they worked with us to make it look pe...
rfect.;Their bartending staff lft some to be desired. The catering is part of but seperately operated. Catering staff was professional and perfect but I cannot say the same for the bar staff.
