Working with Andy was truly the highlight of our wedding and engagement process. His photos are stunning, timeless, and elegant, and we never felt uncomfortable or staged. He patiently worked with us to find the perfect outdoor location in San Francisco for our engagement photos, and our family and friends are blown away with our wedding photos. We are already looking forward to family photos over the next few years so we can find another excuse to work with him. Andy was an absolute pleasure to work with on our wedding day, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer. Everything so calm, smooth, and organized because of Andy's direction. He was a delight to have around and made me feel at ease throughout the whole day. When I was unsure of where to place the veil on my head, Andy was there with advice on what wouldn't look goofy. When my sister couldn't figure out the straps on my wedding dress, his second photographer, Gretchen, was there to provide a helping hand. He took the vision of my grandmother's wedding portrait and ad-libbed an on-site portrait studio at the church. Not only are his photos are high quality and beautiful, but working with someone like Andy made the whole experience that much more amazing.

POST WEDDING REVIEW: Today we received a few images from our wedding a few weeks ago, and I had to edit my original review. I could not be more thrilled with the pictures we've seen so far and I know I will feel the same as the remainder come in. I want to talk specifically about that it meant to have Andy as a part of our day.... Our wedding was planned to be a 100% outdoor wedding (with no tent, I know...I KNOW). Sure enough it rained and things had to be moved around, new plans needed to be made, and part of our afternoon was getting all of those logistics figured out. During a 20 minute period of it somehow magically not raining, Andy encouraged us to take pictures outside. No joke - had he not done this, I think we would have only had a handful of pictures outside and they would have all been in the evening when the rain died down (so essentially with no natural light). It means SO much to us that Andy took the lead on encouraging us to get outside in the midst of the craziness. He made sure we would get these beautiful, outdoor pictures for our backyard wedding and I am convinced that if it wasn't for him they would not exist. YOU NEED to hire Andy, not only because he is incredibly talented - but because he is so polite (SO many people came up to us after the wedding and talked about how nice he was to them). And beyond that, he's just fun. Weddings can be stressful and Andy made us feel like we had a friend taking our pictures. Both my husband and I felt completely relaxed in trusting that he would capture our day the way we remember it and Andy did not fail to do so. BOOK. HIM. NOW. Andy was BEYOND what we ever imagined we would get from a wedding photographer. From sending him in inquiry emailing, to meeting in a coffee shop and learning more about his craft, to taking our engagement pictures, my fiance and I have both been completely blown away. Not only is Andy supremely talented, he's overall just a really great guy. I cannot stress enough how important 'vibing' with your wedding photographer is, and Andy makes that EASY! We were able to relax in front of him/his camera which was so evident by the incredible engagement pictures he was able to capture. Not many photographers are able to catch that 'holy cow I love you' look that you give to your partner, but Andy is...and now I get to frame these pictures and share them with our loved ones, what could be better? Stop your search - Andy is your guy.

Andy did a fantastic job for our engagement photos and wedding photos. He went above and beyond with communicating, making our day less stressful, being personable, and taking excellent quality photos. The turn around for photos is quick too. I cannot believe how fast my husband and I got our photos back. Andy made us feel at ease and comfortable during the photo shoots. We had a pretty large bridal party and he did awesome with getting all the candid shots in along with group photos and individual photos. Andy Carretto is the most AMAZING photographer there is around. We were so appreciative of all of the small and large gestures he did just to make my husband and I feel taken care of. From the time we first met with Andy, he did everything possible to make us feel at home. He went out of his way to meet with us before our first engagement session. We were so happy with how they turned our that we asked him to do our rehearsal dinner in addition to our wedding day. He even did my professional head shot for residency interviews! Gorgeous photos! I knew the moment I spoke with Andy that there was no need to search any longer for a photographer. He was easy to talk to and his style of photography was EXACTLY what we wanted. We all know planning a wedding is stressful. His easy-going personality made everything so easy. He is friendly and down to Earth, but at the same time very professional. Andy is simply the best. Every photo Andy took for our wedding was stunning because of his skill and talent. Clearly he's an amazing photographer but he also has a sense of calm during the chaos of a wedding day/photo session. His vibe is perfect and he gives great direction. Amazing!!! We loved every aspect of Carretto Studio!! The planning was super easy, we live out of town and Andy was able to work around our schedules for meeting and such. He suggested great places for our photos, both my husband and I got every style photo we wanted. When it came to our family photos they were organized and able to handle my large family and crazy nieces and nephews. All around best photography experience I've had!!

WOW! I still cannot stop looking at my wedding photos. Andy and Beth photographed Brad and my wedding this Fall, and they were by far the best decision we made in terms of vendors. Carretto Studio was remarkable, start to finish. Two months before our wedding, they sent us a questionnaire and followed up with a phone call to go over the timeline in detail. On the day of the wedding, they couldn't have been more perfect. There was a moment when I was getting ready where I became a little jittery, and Beth immediately calmed me down. My family and wedding party loved them, and did I mention, our photos are AMAZING. We received them a month after our wedding, and still keep getting compliments. Long story short, these two are the bee's knees. They are fantastic photographers and amazing people.

Andy was really great to work with! We were from out of state, but Andy was very quick to reply to our emails and phone calls! Let me just preface this by saying that my parents are photographers, so finding the perfect photographer that they would approve of was no easy feat. The second we met with Andy and Beth, we knew we had found "the one"! Not only are they extremely professional, but their work is timeless and ethereal. Save yourself some time and hire Carreto Studio. Being in the printing industry, I am extremely critical of pictures/images. It is my job to make sure they always look their best. After meeting Elizabeth & viewing Caretto Studio's portfolio, I knew my fiancé and I were in great hands. Elizabeth was amazing. She listened to, embraced & supported all of our wedding picture ideas and had awesome suggestions of her own. She was patient, fun and made my fiancé and I feel very comfortable from the get go. I was particularly anal about one picture I wanted with my groomsmen/ushers... Caretto Studio nailed it. The groomsmen photo turned out way better than I imagined as did every picture Elizabeth and her team captured. Like I said, save yourself some time and hire Caretto Studio!!!

Wow! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carretto Studio. They took couples portraits of us about a year ago. We loved them so much there was no question about who was going to photograph our wedding. We had our engagement session this past May, and once again I'm in love with all of the photographs. Their artistic perspective, use of light, and posing is top notch. It was such a wonderful experience for both Brad and I, and I absolutely cannot wait for them to photograph our wedding.

Where do I begin when describing the work of Andy and Beth? Awesome. Outstanding. Excellent. Beautiful. There are not enough adjectives in the dictionary! Carretto Studios did our engagement photos as well as wedding photos and Andy and Beth were awesome to work with. Very instructive but not overly so. They knew exactly the angle to take for each photo to make it look as exceptional as possible. They definitely do have the eye for photography and I would recommend their services to anyone looking for classy, well taken photos. Also something I really liked is that they don't really "touch up" the photos much because honestly their photos don't need it. Prints and album were off the charts. It was fun for my wife and I to relive our wedding day through our photos. Thank you Andy and Beth!

Looking for a Photographer for your special day - AMAZING? RELIABLE? PICTURE PERFECT? Andy and Beth were that and beyond. Their photos are definitely a work of art, not just your click, shoot and hope for the best type. They give GREAT instruction for the best photos. I was terrified when looking for a photographer because I am very picky as I once was doing it myself. To say they met expectation is an understatement. Not only professional but their communication is excellent from beginning to end. Quality of final product was fantastic and impressive. We did our engagement photos as well as wedding and they were worth every penny and more! They definitely have "the eye" that so many photographers think they have... but don't. I would recommend them to everyone on the planet! Tip: you get what you pay for... don't let your wedding photos be trash for saving a couple extra bucks for some huge company etc - you will not only have wasted a large amount of money but trust me... you will not only regret it - you will painfully cry when you see what they produced. Been there and done that... Andy and Beth's photos will make you tear up too... with joy and relief for sure! RECOMMENDED!

There is no better way to start a review about Carretto Studio than WOW. Andy is truly a one in a million photographer, and this is coming from a photography obsessed individual. Although we have not had our wedding yet, just seeing our engagement pictures make us that much more excited for our big day. There are few people that have the ability to make you laugh, feel comfortable and truly want to get to know you as a couple on a more personal level. We cannot wait to spend our wedding day with Andy and have those memories to share with our family and friends for our forever to come.

I do not even know where to begin when it comes to Carretto Studios. It is everything that every bride wants for her wedding. From the moment I found Andy on the Knot at 3 a.m. after obsessing about photographers, I noticed something different. His pictures were romantic, but not cheesy. They were artistic, but not over the top. Personally, I felt like I hit the jack pot! I then noticed how many awards he had won from various blogs and websites, and realized I was not the only person to be impressed with his work. He e-mailed me back the very next day and offered to meet with my fiance and I. We met at a cute coffee shop, where he offered to buy our ice cream! (What a gem.) We spoke with him, asked many questions, and looked through his work. After all of my hard work and research, I had found my man (besides my future husband! HA!). We had our engagement pictures this weekend, and although the weather was terrible, Andy assured me we would get great shots. And he DID. He has always gotten back to me within a day, and had our pictures to us that SAME NIGHT after our shoot! We had such a fun day at the City Museum and the Hilton 360, and Andy helped us feel so at ease. The pictures were PHENOMENAL. The way he uses lighting, different perspectives, and his creative eye, blend together to create a masterpiece. Ever since I posted a few pictures on Facebook, my friends have been raving about how they are the best engagement pictures they have ever seen. I simply can't wait for my wedding to be here, because I can't wait to see the pictures and relive it over and over again. After attending 14 weddings last year, I have seen how some photographers can not be what they look like on paper. Therefore, I highly recommend choosing Carretto Studios. It is one thing you will not regret!

Andy and Beth were extremely nice from the first day that we met with them. They got a feel for who we were as a couple and really listened to what we wanted in our pictures for our wedding. Andy and Elizabeth did an awesome job with our wedding and I would highly recommend them! They came up with creative ideas for photos and helped us both remain clam during stressful times before the wedding! We had a huge wedding party and they were able to coordinate and organize everyone in all the group photos beautifully. The were super accommodating and split up during certain parts of the day so that we could get pictures of both the bridesmaids and the groomsmen getting ready. Elizabeth also got stuck with our crazy wedding party on the bus while Andy got amazing pictures of our reception venue before our guest arrived! :)

First off, let me start by saying that Andrew and Elizabeth are absolutely incredible photographers. Both exhibit an outstanding talent at taking the most beautiful pictures! My wife and I were married on June 29, 2013 and we were fortunate enough to be able to work with Andrew and Elizabeth! They treated us both like royalty! Throughout the entire day both Andy and Elizabeth were able to make us feel comfortable, and special. They were never invasive, or in our faces during the ceremony, they were instead gracious and conscious of their surroundings the entire day (a rarity amongst wedding photographers). A touch of rain forced us to rethink one of our picture locations, but Andy and Elizabeth were on the job and they quickly suggested and alternative which turned out to be a wonderful decision! Something my wife and I truly admire about Andy and Elizabeth is that they are passionate about their art, but they are both just so nice and gracious about everything! After some research, my husband and I decided to book Carretto Studio for our fall wedding. The package came with a free engagement session which I thought it was an awesome idea to get to know each other and prepare for the wedding photo shots. When my husband and I started looking for photographers for our wedding we wanted to find the perfect people to capture the "real" us. Well we found them after meeting with 5 different photographers. The first time we met them them they were so professional and genuine. Every couple looks for their wedding day to be everything they imagined and the Carrettos helped make this possible. They went above and beyond to help make our day run smoothly. They used the input we had, and really captured the feeling we wanted on our day. Not even 2 weeks after the wedding they had all of our pictures ready for us and they were absolutely beautiful and more then we could have hoped for. Their kindness and relaxed demure made it easy for us to enjoy every minute. After your wedding day is over all you have left are the memories and photos. My husband and I found Carretto Studios online, meet with them at a cute ice cream shop, and immediately knew that we wanted to use them as our photographers. They are personable and so talented. We were very happy with our wedding photos.

It is so easy to get overwhelmed when shopping for wedding photographers in St. Louis...there are just so many. I found a photographer that I liked, only to find that she was unavailable on our date. That photographer recommended the Carretto's, stating, "If I had to do my wedding again, these are the people that I would want to photography my big day." When a fellow professional recommends them, you know they have to be good. Boy was she right! I am so thankful for her recommendation because the Carretto's work and professionalism were so much more than we could have hoped for. Andy and Elizabeth are two of the greatest people. They are kind, personable, and so very talented. They are both lead photographers resulting in two times the fantastic photos. Our largest problem with the Carretto's was that they produced so many fantastic images that we can't decide which to have printed! These two know St. Louis and were full of ideas for wonderful locations to shoot. They easily understood and made our visions come to life. What I love most about their photography is that it truly told the story of our day. It is so detailed that you really don't even need a videographer. You can trust them to capture every moment and detail. We have gotten nothing but compliments and, "Oooohs and ahhhhhs," on our images. Multiple people have even said the pictures look like they belong in a bridal magazine! Bottom line: If you are getting married in St. Louis and you do not use the Carretto's, you are making a huge mistake!!!

Carretto Photography captured my wedding perfectly! They met with us before hand to hear exactly what we wanted. On the day, they were the perfect combination of assertive and polite. They were the one piece of the wedding I was 100% confident in, I never had a doubt that the pictures would be anything less than fabulous. That being said, they far exceeded our expectations. They made us feel at ease, and were never intrusive or in the way. Even guests of the wedding made comments about how professional and great they were. We have already given their business cards to several other friends who are planning weddings and will continue to recommend them to people in the future. We can't thank them enough!!

Carretto Studio is going to be the best choice you make all day concerning your wedding! (Well except the marriage part :) ) but for real they were the best! The pictures are amazing and look like they came straight out of a magazine! We are having a hard time narrowing down our favorite pictures for our album because there are that many incredible ones! Andy and Elizabeth were amazing to work with and I would hire them to take pictures for everything I ever need in life! They definitely know what they are doing! This is their forte and you could not make a better choice!

Andy and Beth are fantastic photographers and people. They worked really hard and listened to what we wanted to capture during our day. They did just that. The photos were beautiful. I also felt that they were there to help in any way they could-even if it didn't involve photography.

What an amazing team of photographers, life saving even! Well, that is how it felt when our first photographers left us in a bind by backing out just 2 months before the wedding we were panicked. Luckily Andy and Beth were recommended to us and we couldn't have been happier. From our first meeting we totally clicked with them and appreciated that, also being fairly newly weds, they knew exactly what we were about to go through. They helped work out a great package for us since we didn't have time for a lot of the extras like engagement photos. We had a beautiful and joyous day and they captured it perfectly. They were even able to make my silly self look fierce. ;) I would, and do, highly recommend Carretto Studios and know we have found the only photographers we will ever need or want to work with!
