Owner, Kelsey, has a passion for her craft that has only deepened with time. She began her floral journey in 2011, studying at The Blossom Shop Floral Academy in a charming small town in downstate Michigan — and she truly hasn’t put her shears down since. Over the years, she has cultivated a wealth of hands-on experience, from tending garden estates and building lush terrariums to managing décor, styling events, and producing hundreds of beautiful weddings. With the creativity, expertise, and heart that Kelsey and her team at CHFD bring to every event, we’re fully equipped to transform your dream day into a breathtaking reality. als to the boutonnieres, my bouquet, and all of the reception arrangements. The flowers were beautiful, cohesive, and elevated the entire look of our wedding. The only small note I’d share is regarding the ceremony aisle. I had envisioned a flower petal runner with florals lining each side of the aisle, and the petals were scattered across the walkway instead. While it still looked lovely, it was just a bit different than what I had pictured. Overall, their work was stunning and they were a pleasure to work with. I would happily recommend them to couples looking for a florist who can bring a wedding vision to life with beautiful results.

Our team carefully places petals in the agreed-upon design style prior to guest arrival, but because they are so lightweight and delicate, they can shift quickly with even a light breeze. Outdoor (and even some indoor) environments can create airflow that’s unfortunately out of our control. We always do our best to secure and perfect everything right before the ceremony begins, but Mother Nature sometimes has her own plans. That said, I’m so grateful to hear you loved your florals overall. It was such a joy designing for you, and we’re wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together!

i. e. votive holders and vases. This in turn, reduced what we needed to purchase or rent elsewhere. We only wish we were aware it was our responsibility to return these items to the shop AFTER the wedding. Not a huge inconvenience for us but it may be for others.

However, in the contract you received on 07/21/2021, under the 'Rentals' clause it does state that "any rental items are to be returned within 48 hours of the event". uch of a vision. I sent her some photos of florals I liked and we talked about how to achieve that look within our budget. There was a particular vine that I liked but was out of season for our wedding, but about a month before the event she found a different source for the vine and reached out to see if I wanted to include it. I was so touched that she remembered this and that she went out of her way to accomodate my wish. I felt like she genuinely cared about the result being lovely and was willing to discuss different alternatives to fit things into the budget we were working under. The result vastly exceeded our expectations. Walking into the reception space for the first time was magical. Carriage House was so great about setting everything up and cleaning up at the end of the night so we didn’t need to worry about floral removal.

as just spectacular to work with! She met with us prior to our wedding day and showed us different vases and options. She answered all of our hundreds of emails and questions all year long and was so kind and patient and flexible with us! I wish I could give Kelsey a 100 star rating. She made the entire process so easy, hands-on, and actually fun! Her initial quote was very reasonably priced, and included visuals of...

each and every flower she planned to use. Since I do not have a working knowledge of different florals, this was hugely helpful! She is so knowledgeable about her products, and makes it a point to use locally sourced flowers whenever possible. She was able to take my inspiration photos and create a vision that was more beautiful than anything I could have ever come up with. Her insight, experience, and opinions are so valuable and made all of my bouquets, center pieces, and ceremony arch arrangements look absolutely breathtaking. Kelsey did such an incredible job of wedding-day set up, arrangement, and re-purposing arrangements. She made wedding day absolutely gorgeous, and completely took care of everything. et up went. It felt extremely rushed and not complete. My cake topper was never completed like it was suppose to be. I was told that she had “other production to do” so she was in a hurry. The best thing a vendor can do is make the bride feel calm, not stressed out. The table runners and bouquets looked beautiful but I wish that the day of would have went a lot better. If you book this vendor make sure to know exactly how your wedding day set up will work! Know all the details so you don’t have any surprises.

Kelsey was able to meet with me and showed me pictures of the flowers she would use as well as a sketch of a draping I wanted, as I am visual person. she kept me in the loop at all times and when a hiccup in ordering a certain flower came up she informed me and was able to come up with an alternative that was just as beautiful, if not more beautiful than the original. I would definitely recommend Kelsey and her buisness to other brides looking for beautiful flowers at a reasonable price!
