Carriage House Inn was great to work with for our wedding! At the tasting Christy was super attentive and friendly. At our actual wedding all the servers were great! Any time I wou...
ld come back to my table my water glass would be magically filled again, it was so nice! About 30 minutes before the ceremony started my sister noticed one of the arches (the main focal point behind the bride and groom table) was still in pieces and started trying to build it as quickly as possible. She said the server(s) asked if she needed help assembling it (so sweet!) My sister said they had it built in no time and even hung the string lights and cloth on the arch. I really really appreciate that! The food was also amazing. Especially the parmesan chicken. I highly reccomend them!
Carriage House Inn was incredible from start to finish! From our very first tasting, we knew they were the ones — the food was outstanding then, and it was the exact same quality (...
if not better!) on our wedding day.
Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! Every passed hors d’oeuvre was banging — the BBQ-wrapped scallops, coconut shrimp, spinach-stuffed mushrooms, chicken and waffles, and meatballs were all perfection. For dinner, we had the drunken salmon, Parmesan-crusted chicken, and mashed potatoes with vegetables — everything was flavorful, hot, and perfectly cooked.
Kristy from Carriage House is one of the nicest, most genuine people we’ve met. She was so friendly and attentive throughout the entire process. One detail our guests loved was how efficient cocktail hour was — drinks were pre-made, so there were no lines! Everyone could just grab a signature drink, a glass of wine, or order a mixed drink. The Carriage House team even let us provide our own cocktail recipes and taste-test them before the big day, which was such a fun and personal touch. The team even made sure the entire wedding party had an assortment of hors d’oeuvres while taking photos after the ceremony while guests were in cocktail hour.
The entire Carriage House wedding team went above and beyond. Everything ran smoothly, the food was amazing, and the service was top-tier. If you’re looking for a wedding caterer, look no further — Carriage House Inn is perfect. You’ll be in the best hands.
We used the Carriage House Inn for our wedding at Camp Greentop. The food was excellent and all of our guests loved it! (We especially got high compliments on the chicken & waffle ...
bites, the bruschetta, and the pan seared salmon). The service was impeccable and the staff was so kind and friendly. Kristy was so easy to work with and I didn't have to worry about anything on the day. Highly recommend!
We used Carriage House Inn for our wedding at Bowling Brook Mansion. They were recommended to us by the venue so we reached out for a tasting. We looked over the menu and we’re pr...
ovided a tasting menu based on our selections. The food was amazing. We did have to accommodate a few special dietary needs and Kristy made that so easy. We were able to customize a meal that would fit everyone’s needs while still offering several dishes for our guests to choose from. All of our guests raved about the food, both dinner and appetizers, and we are still getting compliments about the meal!
Carriage house inn catering was absolutely amazing for our wedding at Bluebird Manor. After securing our venue, they sent over a list of preferred caterers, and we set up a tasting...
with CH. We met Kristy at our tasting, and she is the sweetest human! Answered all of our questions, gave us advice and let us know that their catering company could do anything we wanted/needed! After we walked out of our tasting raving about the food, we knew we didn’t need to taste anything else. We booked and kept in contact with Kristy over the year asking questions, adding things to our contract and all. She was always quick to respond and made the whole process so seamless. On our wedding day, the entire staff was so professional, fun, and easy to work with! I can not recommend Carriage House Inn enough for your catering needs. The whole team is so attentive and know their stuff. Thank you so much to every team member that made our wedding day perfect, you all are rockstars!
We booked Springfield Manor for our venue and Carriage House Inn is the exclusive caterer. At the tasting, the food was delicious and Chef T was hilarious. A word of caution for an...
yone booking the barn at Springfield Manor: check and re-check that the forms that are given to you by Carriage House Inn refer to the barn instead of the ballroom (as most couples book the ballroom, and I was mistakenly given several forms for the ballroom). Also, we asked to borrow a table for the welcome area, and were provided an unattractive plastic folding table. During the wedding itself, the food and service were amazing. Overall, I would recommend Carriage House Inn for catering but be cautious of the information you receive from them.
We had our April 2021 wedding at Zigbone Farm Retreat in Sabillasville, Maryland, just down the road from the Carriage House. We originally just went for a tasting to see a hyper-l...
ocal option for our wedding reception caterer, and ended up booking Carriage House to cater our rehearsal dinner, reception, and small breakfast the day after the wedding! We were so impressed by the quality of the food and the care of the team we worked with. It was honestly difficult to choose which entrees we wanted to serve at the reception because everything we had was so delicious and the presentation was impressive as well. Throughout our wedding weekend, our guests enjoyed everything from passed hors d'oeuvres to NY strip steak to COVID-safe packaged pastries and coffee the morning after the wedding. We received some great feedback about the meals from our guests. Kristy and Chef T were so personable and helpful during the whole process. They answered any questions we had and worked with us to help keep us and our guests safe during our COVID-era wedding. Event staff were friendly, helpful and professional.
I want to share with you my experience in regard to the service and food provided by Carriage House Catering at our wedding on October 5, 2018 at Stone Manor Country Club.

and and I initially had a tasting with Carriage House Inn for our October wedding and the tasting was of extremely poor quality. However, we were required to use them as a contracted vendor through our venue which we had already fallen in love with and were not willing to give up. I wrote to you, the catering manager, Jeannie, about our issues with the poor food quality at the tasting and she offered us a personal tasting for our wedding menu. We had our personal tasting and while we weren't ecstatic about the quality of food, it was better than the initial tasting so we thought it would be okay.
The day of the wedding was perfect in every way except the food and service. We had 160 guests - 18 tables - and the service went so long that some tables received cold food and the entire dinner service cut into our evening so long that we barely had time to dance. In all the service took over an hour to serve the food, meaning most tables had finished before others had even started.
Thankfully the servers and bartenders were kind but the catering manager working the event, Crystal, was very unprofessional. At one point my brother had to ask the servers to clear their dirty plates from the table because the plates had been sitting there so long and Crystal was openly disrespectful, defensive and rude to him. She was overly emotional and made guests feel very uncomfortable. Instead of trying to accommodate the request she used that as an opportunity to inappropriately complain about his request to my other family members at that table right in front of him. My brother had to walk away from the table and my family had to ask her to leave because of how she was behaving.
On top of the extremely slow service, the food was unappetizing. We had chicken and brisket with sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts. Both meats were very dry and we received several comments from friends and family about how bad it tasted. Even my husband and I noted how dry the food was, especially the chicken, so much so that neither of us even bothered eating it. In addition, we had specifically requested candied sweet potatoes after trying them during our tasting and instead everyone was served mashed sweet potatoes. Lastly, the brussel sprouts were very overcooked.
The style of service was supposed to be served plates of meat and family style for the each of the sides. One of the last tables to receive their food was given a small platter that had both sides (every other table received one platter per side) and therefore they ended up having to ration the sides for a table of 10.
My family was so embarrassed about the food that they both had to approach the venue manager, Brian, to complain. I also complained to the venue manager and was disappointed to hear that this caterer has been a required caterer for 13 years. I never would have booked this caterer if it wasn't required by the venue which we absolutely loved. This caterer was the biggest disappointment, embarrassment and regret of our entire day.
We sent this information to the catering company and received an unapologetic letter from the owner full of excuses for each complaint and a $200 refund which is about 1.6% of what we paid.
We had our wedding at Springfield Manor on 7/7/17 and Carriage House was the exclusive caterer for this venue. Jeanne was an absolute joy to work with. She was always very responsi...
be to my emails and made sure everything was exactly what my wife and I wanted. I cannot express how delicious and generous sized portions the food was. All of our guests absolutely loved their meals. My father is very picky about his food due to medical reasons, and Jeanne worked with me to make sure he had an off menu meal he would be able to eat and enjoy. They were able to accommodate my other vendors and have my table setup competed early. Everything was absolutely perfect. You won't regret hiring them!
We had our wedding at Stone Manor catered by Carriage House, which is the preferred vendor. This reduced a lot of our stress since we planned our wedding in less than four months....
Carriage House was great to work with. We were planning from Oregon, so our families participated in the tasting and chose our menu. We had very little stress knowing that the Carriage House works so closely with our venue and is such a trusted vendor. At the wedding, the portions were all large and the food was amazing. I tend to think that a lot of the food at weddings is not very good, but Carriage House totally changed those expectations. We were blown away at how tasty the food was and our guests told us that repeatedly. We also had guests who changed their order the day of even after RSVPing another meal. Carriage House handled this with grace. Would recommend this vendor!
Working with Carriage House Inn for our wedding was a beyond wonderful experience. From the moment we met with their manager Jeanne, we knew we had found someone special. As a far ...
away bride living and working in NYC and getting married in MD, Jeanne never failed to check in to see how things were. She was also very responsive when I would send messages either changing something or containing a question. Not to mention, the wedding day went off without a single, solitary problem. Although Jeanne couldn't be there herself, her right-hand Sharey made sure that that all events at the wedding were on time and that everyone was having a good time! My entire family from New York could not believe how incredible the food was. We had a selection of petite filet, teriyaki salmon and a honey-glazed ham. Of course, at a wedding we expect small portions, right? WRONG! When we ordered petite filet, we got an enormous petite filet, and not just my husband and I. Everyone got an incredibly generous helping of their delicious dish. Their wait staff was good humored and polite. I really cannot express how incredibly happy we were with them and highly recommend their services to future brides!
The carriage house inn worked with The Lodges at Gettysburg for our wedding this past weekend. The food was amazing and we received so many compliments. The staff was just as amazi...

Carriage House is very professional, helpful, responsive, and attentive. The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. We highly recommend the coconut shrimp and skirt steak chimichurri (but EVERYTHING we had was good). Jeannie and Billy Jo answered emails often within minutes or hours even during wedding season; never making us feel silly for asking questions/requests or like we were burdening them. Jeannie really helped us nail down all the details for the wedding day even if it had nothing to do with catering services. She was so warm and helpful. Her help during the planning process and Billy Jo's leadership and work ethic during setting up, serving, and breakdown made our wedding day so smooth, stunning, and delicious. Honestly, we had a dream wedding and owe so much of it to the staff at Carriage House Inn.
When I looked at the lodges at Gettysburg venue I was so happy to find out that the carriage house catered. I have eaten at the carriage house two times for special occasions and t...
here food is always perfect. I would not have asked for better food for my wedding. Everyone I know is still talking about how good the food, service and weight staff was.
Also I liked that even though we picked the cheapest food package could not tell my the quality, and presentation. In addition, it was great that they offered a kids dish since we had many young kids that would not appropriate the fancy food.
Overall this is the best place to have catering your wedding.
Everyone kept telling me no one will remember the food!! HOWEVER... I knew differently... I went to Carriage house for my tasting, DELICIOUS... then at the wedding my (now) husband...
couldn't stop talking about how good it was. It helped that all of our friends got married this year and we were the last, everyone said our food was the best. And for the Bridal Party-They brought us up our drinks and served us all night long... even though they did not have too. They were caring, willing to help, helped set up and clean up in a venue where we were meant to decorate... I promise you the price is def. worth it.. Everyone has said "Best Food they have ever eaten at a wedding..." :-) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND It.. and BETH-Great lady to talk too!
The did our food for our wedding and our rehearsal dinner. The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful. The nicest people you will ever work with!
The Carriage House is the caterer for our venue, so when we booked we did not have a choice. We were very pleased with the options offered to us for our wedding and the various pr...
icing levels. When we requested changes to the menu, there was no issue from the catering manager. Our tasting was really tasty, however the food on our wedding night was not quite as good. Our guests were pleased with the crab dip appetizer and the wide variety of food we offered in the buffet, but my husband and I felt the meat was a little dry compared to the tasting. We would still recommend the Carriage House as it was the best wedding food we have had. We are just picky eaters :)
The carriage house staff far exceeded our expectations throughout the whole day and night. They went above and beyond their job descriptions to help out and ensure the night went d...
own without any problems. They even assisted in some of the set up when my friends and family were in a time crunch, which was amazing. They saw to it that were had drinks and food available throughout the night, especially for the bride and groom. I really enjoyed their attention to whether we needed, alcohol, water as well as food cause we would not have had any time to get these ourselves. Whenever I returned to the table, I conveniently and thankfully, water and our specialty drinks were waiting for us. This allowed us to stay hydrated and keep enjoying ourselves. I have heard particular attention is a rarity from other catering companies which made other brides night less enjoyable. So I am very thankful that the staff was able to provide this type of attention. They were wonderful when communicating with other venders throughout the night as well as flexible so that I did not have to stress about the order of events and ensure that they took place. I was worried that the night would not go down as smoothly without a wedding planner but their communication with other venders including Stone Manor, the DJ and the photographer made a wedding planner not needed. I was also very pleased with the bar staff as they were very helpful to our guests.
Needless to say my husband and I were very pleased with the service and our guests were very pleased with the food, drinks, and attention to detail. Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was and we are continually asked who we used. We had delicious food at a reasonable price. This is one company that is understanding about cost but it does not change the quality of their product. They are also very sensitive to food allergies as well as flexible. I and several of my guests are highly allergic and they paid special attention to ensure there were no allergy related problems. The Food and service was just amazing and allowed us to have the best wedding ever. I would highly recommend using The Carriage House as your vender.
My guests said they felt right at home. It was elegant and sophisticated and very comfortable. The food was great and they too excellent care of us!
