t Saint Clements Castle. We honestly felt like we could go to her with any question along the way. That right there is amazing, since there are so many logistics to that day. Especially, if you have multiple locations besides the wedding venue to photograph at , like we did. We had a hotel, pre -ceremony location , church ceremony and venue to line up a timeline with for the big day since we weren’t doing a first look. It went flawless ! And we had 14 kids in our wedding party. Ages ranged from 13 months to 16 years old ( lots of nieces and nephews ) Carrie and Dan worked their magic with them and we were able to get them all photographed before the wedding ceremony even started. They made me feel at such ease the morning of, getting ready. We really had a lot of fun working with them the whole day. They worked perfectly with all of our personalities and it was a huge wedding party. I will be using Carrie for all my photograph needs in the future. Hopefully a maternity shoot soon :-)

She keeps everything focused, but never forgets that half the battle is remembering to have fun during the whole crazy process, offering numerous suggestions for the day-of that would help the day run smoother. We couldn’t begin to even recommend using someone else because she was everything we were hoping for in a photographer. This was the easiest decision made in planning our wedding and we couldn’t be more thankful to her for all she did – including referring us to all of our other vendors who were all excellent. g and this really put us at ease. Not having a wedding planner I wasn’t one hundred percent sure on the timing of certain things like hair and makeup and deliveries for flowers. Carrie advised me on each of these and everything flowed perfectly the day of. She and her partner Dan were very flexible and made sure we were getting all of the pictures we had said we would like and then some!
We had a photo booth for our reception and Carrie surprised us the day of and told us how she matched the theme of our wedding invitations to the border around the photo booth print outs. Every detail was beyond perfect.
Carrie and Dan are the perfect team, they are professional and fun and had us laughing and enjoying every moment. We loved every moment and would definitely work with Carrie and Dan again!

consultation, she makes you feel like you are the only client and the only one that matters. Her pictures are amazing and every now and then she'll say "Let me try something" - those will be the best pictures.
One thing I was not expecting was for her to help me draw up a timeline for the day. I didn't have a wedding planner and kind of cobbled it all together myself. Carrie, based on all her experience, advised me on getting hair and makeup done earlier (she was right), having the flowers delivered earlier (she was right again - especially since the delivery was running late), and leaving earlier to get to the church. As she said, no bride has ever complained about being too early. I wasn't too early at any stage and her timeline actually prevented me from being late and stressed out.
The second photographer she came with (Dan) was just as great. After meeting him for the first time on the day of the wedding, I was instantly at ease with him in under 5 mins.

in this industry. Four years later, and it still stings to read the words you wrote - I suppose it is time for me to take my head out of the sand and finally respond.
Yemile, I regret that you feel you had a negative experience with our studio. I am thankful that you liked your photos and enjoyed working with our photographer Dan. He also enjoyed photographing you. Unfortunately, we were communicating exclusively with your husband-to-be; no one from the studio (other than Dan) had interacted with you. I suspect there was a miscommunication somewhere along the line as your engagement photos were delivered well before the timeline that we gave your husband-to-be when he booked the engagement session. Dan over-delivered (as he is notorious for doing!).
The Knot tells me that it is not a big deal to get a negative review.... that a one star review makes us "real' - and that how I respond to a negative review is what matters more than the actual review. The Knot even suggested that I apologize....
So, Yemile, If we missed some form of communication from you or wronged you in any way, I apologize. It was certainly accidental.
I hope that you are happy in your marriage and that you still enjoy looking at your engagement photos. I regret that I never had an opportunity to communicate with you prior to you leaving your review. This studio is my livelihood and my pride and joy. I wish I had been given a chance to try to address whatever is was that left you feeling my studio "cannot be trusted." Man, those words are the hardest part for me to read.

I met Carrie at the Simsbury Inn open house/bridal show and she has an enchanting personality! She's very energetic and easygoing. She took care of every little detail and so much more - for example we had run out of time with the limos and she...
wanted to take a few more photos so she ended up packing my husband and me into her car to bring us to our reception! She was so careful at the church that my father doesn't recall even seeing her there (my husband doesn't recall that either)! She worked very hard to get the most unique pictures so that we would be happy. We also had an engagement photo session with her and she called me that day because it was on and off raining and she said she would cancel if I wanted to because we couldn't pick a different day if it rained on our wedding but to be honest it was like my final test to see how good she really is. So we trucked out in the rainy-ish day with our umbrella and we took pictures that are more beautiful than I could ever have imagined - and that's how I knew our wedding day would be perfect! She's incredibly flexible and works to get you what you want. We absolutely loved Carrie and Dan - we'd like to adopt them into our family to be honest :) I would recommend her to everyone Oh and her assistant Dan was phenomenal as well!! He did his very best to get my 2 yr old flower girl to put her headband on and smile and he got close! (She was a little overwhelmed!) He was fantastic! They were never in each other's shots/photos and they took photos from all angles. I barely even noticed them during the reception and Carrie helped us get huge family photos that our moms truly wanted. All I can say is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!

an assistant to help her so that made it easy to get photos of not only us girls, but the guys getting ready too! She got great shots at the beautiful hotel and then we met her at the venue. We did a first look and then pictures of us; family and the bridal party. We are live in AZ but are from CT so we wanted as much time with family and friends as possible. Carrie helped get all the shots we wanted before and FAST at the cocktail hour so it freed us up to socialize. She went above and beyond and did an amazing job! I was blown away by the photos; there were so many things she captured that were so special to me. One think I’ve never seen done before at a wedding is full group family shots with all family members on each side of the bride and groom. The last time we had a family photo done on either side of my family, I was probably 5! So ALL my family members are thrilled to have this up to date group family shot!
