exactly what happened. We had Carrie shoot our engagement photos and our wedding day and I cannot begin to say how incredible our experience was. We were able to meet with her throughout the planning process and ask any questions we had at any time. There was always an appreciated honest answer! We had a tough family situation that we were stressing about the entire time and she TRULY eased the entire thing and made us feel SO relaxed! On the day of our entire family and party loved her, as we knew they would. She was fun and connected with every single one of them. They all can't stop raving at how awesome she was. As promised, about 7 weeks after the wedding we received our photos and they are AMAZING. I truly cannot explain how incredible they came out. She captured our vision so perfectly and we could not be more thankful! We are so excited to have her print out some for us to hang in our home and we are super excited to start planning our album, we know it is going to be a true treasured item. If you are in need of a photographer, seriously look no further, there is not a single person I would recommend other than Carrie! Also, I cannot remember the name of her second shooter, but he was AMAZING too! So much fun, took INCREDIBLE photos and totally connected with the guys, getting their true expressions all throughout the day!

g, she kept me clued in and prepared for each thing and I believe she was a large part in why our wedding ran so smoothly. She had a plan for all situations and was open to impromptu photos as we wanted them. She was considerate and of my fiance/husband who does not like a lot of pictures taken of him and made him feel comfortable. I would highly recommend her for any event!

She stepped in as such a great help on my wedding day when we found out that my dress had a missing clasp! s make a timeline for the day of the wedding at our final meeting and this really put us at ease. Not having a wedding planner I wasn’t one hundred percent sure on the timing of certain things like hair and makeup and deliveries for flowers. Carrie advised me on each of these and everything flowed perfectly the day of. She and her partner Dan were very flexible and made sure we were getting all of the pictures we had said we would like and then some! We had a photo booth for our reception and Carrie surprised us the day of and told us how she matched the theme of our wedding invitations to the border around the photo booth print outs. Every detail was beyond perfect. Carrie and Dan are the perfect team, they are professional and fun and had us laughing and enjoying every moment. We loved every moment and would definitely work with Carrie and Dan again!

and Carrie will definitely put you at ease. Even from the first consultation, she makes you feel like you are the only client and the only one that matters. Her pictures are amazing and every now and then she'll say "Let me try something" - those will be the best pictures. One thing I was not expecting was for her to help me draw up a timeline for the day. I didn't have a wedding planner and kind of cobbled it all together myself. Carrie, based on all her experience, advised me on getting hair and makeup done earlier (she was right), having the flowers delivered earlier (she was right again - especially since the delivery was running late), and leaving earlier to get to the church. As she said, no bride has ever complained about being too early. I wasn't too early at any stage and her timeline actually prevented me from being late and stressed out. The second photographer she came with (Dan) was just as great. After meeting him for the first time on the day of the wedding, I was instantly at ease with him in under 5 mins. I could go on and on but no one will read a super long review. Bottom line - book Carrie. You won't regret it!

More importantly she captured every little detail. We couldn’t have been happier with the photos from our wedding (and engagement session). Best of all she was always responsive and extremely timely in finishing our photos and wedding album. We would highly recommend her to anyone for any type of photo shoot. We will definitely be going back to her to capture our future life moments.

We got better photos than I ever could have imagined and my whole family and wedding party (and us!!) LOVED Carrie and Dan!

Carrie called us on Thursday and said I can put it together for you, and you'll have it on Friday afternoon. We let her take the lead on the pictures and the book came out amazing! Not to mention it will be a coffee table book at our house, because the quality of the book is great! I will definitely use Carrie again!

Not only were we absolutely ecstatic about our engagement photos at Jonathan Edwards Winery in Stonington, CT, but she went above and beyond and was willing to take pictures for our Christmas cards last year to "hold us over!" Who does that?! Carrie does! She is silly and can make anyone (or any animal) smile for the camera! She is absolutely wonderful - that's all I have to say! :) We can't even wait for our wedding day because we know she will be in charge!

The best part was that they were completely unobtrusive. They were like Nijas. We barely even knew they were there at the reception and the pictures came out beautifully! more - for example we had run out of time with the limos and she wanted to take a few more photos so she ended up packing my husband and me into her car to bring us to our reception! She was so careful at the church that my father doesn't recall even seeing her there (my husband doesn't recall that either)! She worked very hard to get the most unique pictures so that we would be happy. We also had an engagement photo session with her and she called me that day because it was on and off raining and she said she would cancel if I wanted to because we couldn't pick a different day if it rained on our wedding but to be honest it was like my final test to see how good she really is. So we trucked out in the rainy-ish day with our umbrella and we took pictures that are more beautiful than I could ever have imagined - and that's how I knew our wedding day would be perfect! She's incredibly flexible and works to get you what you want. We absolutely loved Carrie and Dan - we'd like to adopt them into our family to be honest :) I would recommend her to everyone Oh and her assistant Dan was phenomenal as well!! He did his very best to get my 2 yr old flower girl to put her headband on and smile and he got close! (She was a little overwhelmed!) He was fantastic! They were never in each other's shots/photos and they took photos from all angles. I barely even noticed them during the reception and Carrie helped us get huge family photos that our moms truly wanted. All I can say is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!

e was great during our wedding. She met us at the hotel and had an assistant to help her so that made it easy to get photos of not only us girls, but the guys getting ready too! She got great shots at the beautiful hotel and then we met her at the venue. We did a first look and then pictures of us; family and the bridal party. We are live in AZ but are from CT so we wanted as much time with family and friends as possible. Carrie helped get all the shots we wanted before and FAST at the cocktail hour so it freed us up to socialize. She went above and beyond and did an amazing job! I was blown away by the photos; there were so many things she captured that were so special to me. One think I’ve never seen done before at a wedding is full group family shots with all family members on each side of the bride and groom. The last time we had a family photo done on either side of my family, I was probably 5! So ALL my family members are thrilled to have this up to date group family shot! She tells you exactly what to do so that you don't have to think and worry about how you are posing in the pictures. It was such an enjoyable experience working with her and Colleen and we would highly recommend her to any couple!

She also helped me with the timeline of the reception. Mt wedding was on October 21st this year, and Carrie helped me make the decision to take pictures before the ceremony because otherwise all our pictures would've been dark. We got wonderful family pictures before the ceremony and Carrie made sure that the moment my husband saw me was really special because he would be seeing me before I walked down the aisle. She is not a budget photographer, but I don't regret one penny that I spent on her. I know I'll have beautiful and special photos to look at for the rest of my life.

e after all was said and done, that would be all that was left. We met her at a bridal show and instantly hit it off! We knew then that she was the photographer for us! Her enthusiasm for her craft and creativity were evident in her display. First of all, our engagement shots were great! She has wonderful ideas of where to take photos and how to go about doing so. Also, we ordered our Save the Dates through her and they were also just beautiful. I can't take it off of my refrigerator (and we got married 3 months ago!) The day of the wedding, she sent me a goodie basket the morning of my wedding with well wishes. Then when she finally arrived, her calming manner and positive attitude helped with my nervousness - even during the ceremony and reception. The shots that she got were so incredibly amazing and so much more than we ever even hoped for. She has a way of seeing the perfect shot, and boy she got many. The 1100 photos that she took were so beautiful it was hard to choose just 70 for our album. I have received many compliments on our photos! We will NEVER go to another photographer for photography, EVER! She is a must have for your wedding! Well worth the money!

On the day of my wedding, it seemed like every time I thought "this would be a great picture", I turned around and there was Carrie. We just got our pictures back and they are simply amazing. The bottom line is, she was recommended to us and we are so pleased that we hired her. We didnt even see her during the reception! She was just doing her thing and let us have our fun...very hands off and we loved that. I will forever recommend Carrie and speak highly of her. She helped to make our wedding the event of the year and a memory that we will always cherish.
