face to face she has been nothing but the very BEST. This review is a long time coming only because we have still been in contact even close to a year later. Carrie has created a relationship with me through this whole process that has made my wedding experience way better than I have ever expected. Even John surpassed our expectations by being our videographer throughout the whole process. I know we challenged them with both our engagement and wedding locations but boy did they knock it out of the park! Not only were the organized they were dedicated enough to scope out the shoot locations even before my husband and I got there. John and Carrie made us laugh and feel so comfortable in front of the camera that you can see the love in each and every single one of our photos. I cannot recommend them enough and have done nothing but rave about them over and over again. They were by far our favorite vendors of our wedding!

truly has her clients’ best interests at heart. She’s reliable, makes you feel at ease, easy-going, and communicative. These were all things we were hoping for in our wedding photographer because photos are very important to us. In addition to being awesome, Carrie helped us recover from what otherwise would have been a bad day. Given unforeseen circumstances, Carrie dropped everything to make sure we got our photos taken the same day. My fiancé lives out of town right now and planning things is especially difficult. Carrie made herself available to take our photos, not only at the very last minute, but on a schedule that worked for us and what we already had planned. e was one of the suggested photographers. I instantly fell in love with the light, airy look of her work. I still got quotes from about 5 different photographers, but in the end, I knew the look of Carrie’s work was what I wanted for our wedding. It was a smooth process from the beginning, and I actually had more pre-wedding interaction and information with Carrie than any of the other vendors, which was comforting. The day of the wedding, Carrie and John were total pros and made my husband, wedding party, and especially myself feel totally relaxed. I love that they were willing to try new things, and had shot at the venue before, so knew exactly where to get the best pictures. The pictures came out beautifully, and I’m so proud to show them off. The entire experience flowed so smoothly and her website, blog, and Facebook page were a wealth of help and information. I would absolutely recommend Carrie for any future bride, or for any sort of photography services.

s huge. Our colors popped in all our photos, and they look amazing. She was able to make the groom and I feel extremely calm and confident so we could get the best shots! The only reason for the 4 is that the family formals were a little messy. We knew we would be pushing daylight ahead of time, but I had written out ahead of time the order I wanted because I have a mixed family on one side that doesn't get along. In the end it kind of ended up being a hectic free for all. We got all the shots we needed and it was no big deal by the end of it. I would book all over again, and highly recommend!

We booked Carrie and John right away before we left them that day we were so impressed! Carrie and John also did our engagement photographs I was unsure where exactly I wanted to have the photographs taken. Carrie spent alot of time helping me decide on the right place. I highly recommend doing your engagement photographs with Carrie. When it came to our wedding day my husband and I were alot more relax taking photographs because we had already done them before we felt like we knew exactly what to do and were able to go through the pictures faster which allowed us more photographs on our wedding day. Carrie made sure to contact me throughout the year before the wedding checking on me and sending me helpful information. Carrie and John showed up several hours early on the day of the wedding. They capture all the small details which was amazing because being the bride I was so busy I didnt get to focus on alot of things being rushed around. It was amazing to look at the photographs later and really be able to see how beautiful everything was. Carrie and John are great and extremely fun to work with you wont regret it!!

My husband and I are both introverts and honestly, were somewhat reluctant to get through our wedding day knowing that all of the attention would be on us all day long. Having Carrie and John with us definitely put us at ease, making us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Carrie checked in on me throughout the day, asking if I needed water or if I needed to sit down for a bit. Carrie and John were also just so much fun to work with! It is clear that they are enthusiastic, passionate, and good at what they do. We had a large bridal party and a ton of family members that we needed to get photos with, and Carrie and John helped us squeeze them all in. All of our friends and family loved them too! Carrie and John just made the day so much more enjoyable for everyone. As for the photos themselves, they are absolutely stunning and complete perfection!! The lighting, colors, and angles in these photos are so beautiful, and the expressions and emotions of the day were captured perfectly. These photos will allow us to cherish those moments forever, and we cannot be more grateful.

ur full gallery, I was happy every step of the way. Carrie was helpful through all the small details that I didn't know what to do (her husband even helped us decide on the men's suits!) and was a gracious person beyond being an amazing photographer. When I looked at the photos, it was like I was reliving the day all over again, and they were all beautiful. I have heard again and again showing the photos to everyone, that she did a great job! ere already on display at the reception. When we announced our engagement, we knew that Carrie was the photographer of choice to shoot our wedding. The experience was one I/we will never forget. We spent some time taking pictures before the “first look” and both John and Carrie made me feel so beautiful and relaxed as a bride. When Jim arrived, they knew exactly which shots would capture the anticipation and excitement of the moment. The ceremony and flow of the evening went very smoothly. They are so professional and each and every step along the way was amazing. Their excitement and joy was contagious! John and Carrie were able to get several beautiful photos around Magee Park, where the ceremony took place, and then on the beach in Carlsbad, just down from the park. The contrast between the park and the beach is something that we love about our pictures. We had a private wedding ceremony with just family which meant she was able to get pictures of not just us, but each family as well. They were both very patient as we have young grandchildren and you never know exactly when they’ll look at the camera. The most used word we have heard from our friends and families is “WOW” and also “Your pictures are stunning and so natural looking!” They truly are and we are so very grateful that Carrie and John captured those special moments for us. made it easy. I got to be close to Lisa (my wife) during the photos and that was great. I didn't want to do a first look, but Lisa did. She convinced me to do it and I'm very thankful I did. We got way more photos of the two of us, and that was important to me. John was great to have in the room with my groomsmen and he actually helped tie our ties. They both made a real connection with us and that really helped us be ourselves. I would highly recommend them.

rds. Leading up to the big day, she kept in touch with me and made sure she knew which photos were really important to me. She had already scoped out the venue and had an idea of where she wanted to do most of the shots. Our "First Look" was awesome. She had an additional 2 photographers helping to capture the whole thing from every angle. She was also there in the early afternoon as the girls and I were getting ready.
