Carr's Affordable Catering

weeks prior to event.... we called him on July 13th to give our final count and get our final price so we could pay him the two weeks prior.... 7 days later still no contact back, voice message left.... 4 days later still no contact voice message left. Saturday the 28th payment day, no contact. We decide to cancel as he is not dependable and cannot be reached. Today July 30th I reach out on Facebook messenger to his page, stating we have tried to reach them and no response and would like to cancel... (his son replies) that his dad will contact us. I tell him I understand but I would like to cancel, and believe I should receive the booking deposit back due to them not keeping in contact to keep the job. The owner calls my fiance and tells him he forgot to call us back and asks if we would like to still go through him. When told no he just says "OK." and hangs up. No apology nothing.... Would not recommend. Wedding planning is to stressful to have to worry if your caterer is going to "FORGET" you.
