Y'all, Carsten is THEE BEST photographer EVER!!! Do yourself a favor and book her NOW!! My husband and I hired Carsten to do our engagement photos, and we loved her soooo much that we hired her for our wedding too!!! And I would hire her again and again! For starters, Carsten is the kindest, sweetest, most professional, reliable, responsive, thorough, thoughtful, patient, talented human!!! From the very initial meeting, we feel in love with her amazing character. She really took the time to hear what we wanted and what our needs were, and she made it happen! She really did work with us throughout the whole process to make sure our photos would be perfect. Not to mention, Carsten's photos are so amazing and beautiful!! We are so, so happy with just how lovely she made both our engagement and wedding photos!! For both our engagement and wedding photos, neither of us were really sure what do, but Carsten coached us the whole time and made sure we had a blast! When we got our wedding photos back, we were so impressed by the amount, variety, and beauty of the photos. And just how hard she worked to make sure our day was captured so magnificently!! And she returned our photos to us so quickly! From the get-go, we felt very comfortable and very confident leaving our engagement and wedding photography into Carsten's very capable and kind hands. She went above and beyond what we asked and hoped for!! For both our engagement and wedding photos, Carsten over-delivered in ways that really blew our minds. We can't rave enough about how much we love Carsten! And so so happy that she was our engagement and wedding photographer!!!

Carsten and her team are GEMS! They photographed and videoed our wedding day, and they were 10/10 from start-to-finish. They were easy to work with, efficient, and always had a smile on their faces. I like to think they had as much fun documenting our day as we had living it! ;) She even sent us sneak peek photos THE VERY NEXT DAY! We are so grateful that we chose Carsten to be a part of our big day - she is hands-down the best, and her work is beautiful.

I don't know where to start, let's go with BOOK HER, NOW. STOP READING AND BOOK HER! Carsten is an amazing photographer who knows what the heck she is doing. She takes the time to get to know you as a couple (we did our engagement photos and wedding photos with her) and makes sure you are comfortable and just captures every beautiful moment. We had our engagement photos taken at Caspers Wilderness Park and the beach by The Ocean Institute in Dana Point months before the wedding. She was totally into our vibe we wanted for the pictures and they came out perfect. Carsten sent the link to both me and my husband to check out the edited photos. Turn around time is pretty fast and all done digitally unless you previously request prints through her. Our wedding was picture perfect thanks in good part to Carsten and her team of assistants for the day. They know how to blend in with the crowd and direct those who need extra guidance with posed pictures. Super professional though! We got our sneak peeks within 24 hours and instantly fell in love with them. Thank you so much for making our memories absolutely magical!

My wife and I hired Carsten for our engagement shoot, and that work was so outstanding we also did for our wedding photography. Please allow me to briefly summarize our experience with her and her team: This studio is the epitome of professional photography. They provide an effortless experience with clear objectives communicated. The team expertly utilizes lighting, kinesthetics, and every conceivable angle to produce stunning imagery. Additionally, Carsten deploys with proper resources, knowledge of local geography, personal experience, and diligence on every single job. Carsten is directly involved with these shoots, and brings some outstanding people along with her for the more complex endeavors. The team blends in perfectly as well, you'll hardly know they are present when you're having the greatest time of your life. Yet, the outcome will reveal the great care and duty poured into their work. The post shoot processing is swift with some teasers provided same day! Perfection takes time, but even then we didn't have to wait long for the most memorable and gorgeous photos I've ever seen. The product is the perfect memorialization of your happiest day(s). I will conclude by stating you will NOT be disappointed when you hire Carsten Tice. Please involve her in your next big day!

Carsten Tice took all of our wedding photos and video. The drone pictures at the venue were fantastic. She has an incredible eye. She found portions of the property we never knew existed and the pictures were incredible!

We cannot recommend Carsten highly enough. From beginning to end, everything about her process and photography was perfect. Due to her remarkable organization, detail-oriented nature, and responsiveness, from the moment we hired Carsten we were put at ease and knew we were in good hands. She is a pleasure to work with and her friendly demeanor made us comfortable in front of the camera and made the big day photos run seamlessly. The pictures themselves are incredible. They are vibrant, artistic, and capture all of the big and little moments. Carsten has a keen eye for finding the perfect lighting and memorializing all of the important aspects of the day. Her creativity and artistic talents shine through in the wedding album design and she allowed us to be as hands-on or hands-off as we wanted to be in designing our album. Carsten's video editing skills are as wonderful as her photography. Every time we watch the highlight video we are left smiling and reliving our big day. Carsten is so thoughtful and goes the extra mile in countless ways; for example, she offered to bring my wife coffee on the morning of the wedding day and invited us to her beautiful photography studio in Dana Point after the wedding to go over album finishing touches. We feel lucky to have found Carsten and are thrilled that she was our wedding photographer. We can’t wait to use her again in the future to capture other meaningful occasions.

I hired Carsten precovid to do my wedding post covid. We ended up changing wedding plans like everyone else in California. We switched states and made it a smaller gathering. Carsten was the only vendor I NEEDED to still have, her talent is unmatched. She was so understanding and immediately made travel accommodations. She went over the new contract with me and was able to keep it at original quote by moving a few things and replacing it with her travel cost (she found the best rate). Even though we took off things like photo booth and second photographer (micro wedding - not necessary) I didn’t have the feeling like I was missing out on anything because of how well she manages the day of. She was with me right when glam started (10am) and stayed till 10pm when we forced her to not work another moment! She shimmied between grooms room and brides suite to capture beautiful images and lasting memories. All of these amazing qualities aside.. when we saw our photos we were shocked, they were the most stunning photos all of us (including our Marriott venue) had ever seen. Marriott even ended up using some our photos for their website. She got our finals to us in 1.5 weeks - 700+ photos edited to perfection. Then created and mailed us our professional photo album - which was included in our contract - a few months later. She’s just great at what she does and has fun doing it. We get one chance to document this moment In life and if the photographer isn’t on point - that’s what you’ll have for the rest of your life to look back on. I would choose her again in a heartbeat, for any event.

Carsten Tice is a must!! Carsten was the photographer for our engagement & wedding photos! My husband and I thought we would look or feel awkward during these “captured not so candid moments.” Carsten knows what she’s doing and sets the tone. She is able to calm nerves, guide chaos, & comfort a very stressed bride. Carsten has captured some of the most beautiful pictures I could’ve ever asked/ dreamed of. We originally planned to have our wedding in SoCal, but when Covid hit, we had to change plans to Central Oregon. Carsten was the first vendor we talked to who led off the conversation by putting our minds at ease saying "I'll refund you fully regardless of what my contract says". She didn't have to do that, but it was incredibly kind and speaks to her character. We decided to bring Carsten up to Central OR for the wedding as a result and seriously cannot say enough about our experience working with her. Carsten was completely in control, very well prepared, handled our crazy family with ease, and the pictures seriously speak for themselves. We'll have them for the rest of our lives to look back on and up around the house. The value, professionalism, and quality we got from Carsten were all top level, we can't recommend her enough for your wedding!

This has taken me a year to finally come in and submit this. Carsten is absolutely amazing at what she does. I could not have asked for a better photographer. She captured my wedding and left me with such breath taking pictures. She was the only photographer that took notes during our meeting to make sure every picture I wanted taken was done the day of. She also took pictures using such creativity. If you are looking for someone who will listen to your needs/wants and also come up with several ideas of her own, she is the one to go to! If I could get married again, she would be the one I choose. LOVE LOVE LOVE her work!!!

We used Carsten for our engagement and wedding photos in September and absolutely loved working with her! We found her through Instagram and noticed that her photography style was very clear, colorful, and vibrant. Many wedding photographers tend to wash out their photos or seem to have a filter on everything. She's very individualistic in her approach and asks questions to ensure she understands your vision. When we got our wedding photos back we had so much fun looking at the candid photos of our guests! The formal posed pictures also came out beautiful. We really commend her for going above and beyond with her work.Thank you so much!

My husband and I got married in June, and Carsten was our photographer. We both have friends that are professional photographers in the wedding business. We consulted with them for our decision on our photographer and they were all impressed with Carsten. After meeting few photographers, I knew right away Carsten was the one. She was warm, friendly, and professional. Carsten is one of those people when you meet them you just want to be their best friend. she is very talented and will make you have genuine smiles because she is making you laugh with her "photographer lingo" . for example: "Smell your hair" or "walk with one foot in front of the other, like a tight rope" and her reassuring you with, "I promise this will look good in the photos". You feel ridiculous and laughing, but when you see the photos you look amazing! She was also very quick getting photos back. It took 4 days to get our engagement photos, and less than a month to get our wedding photos. She also gave us a sneak peak of 12 photos the next morning after our wedding (that was so amazing).

Carsten was absolutely amazing to work with. Carsten captured the beauty and excitement of our engagement and wedding. My wife and I were 100% convinced that a “good photo” of us would never be taken. We were certain that we were the least photogenic people of all time, and yet Carsten was able to take this ugly mug of mine and get me looking like Brad Pitt.... and maybe a little like Denzel too. I suffered the same unfortunate lack of ability of take a decent photo as Chandler Bing did, until we had our first photo shoot with Carsten. Working with her was a blast, she helped us to relax and was able to take our awkward lack of “posing” ability and capture the biggest moments of our lives together in the most beautiful way. Our walls and social media are showered with these incredible images and we cannot thank her enough for. If you are looking for a photographer for a special occasion, look no further, Carsten is your gal! She’ll bring out the Brad Pitt and Beyoncé in you in the most fun, relaxed and professional way!

Carsten is an amazing photographer, professional and person. At our wedding, she was extremely pleasant and her imagination and creativity left us with memorable pictures that were unbelievable and unimaginable. She has a knack for position and catching symbolism within a photo and the creativity to make symbolism pop out of a photo. One of our favorites in particular, was a post card worthy photo that captures my wife and I in our first dance as we were positioned by the lit "Mr and Mrs" sign that popped out in the background. I highly recommend Carsten if you want to make the most of your memories.

When it came to picking a photographer for my wedding it was a no brainer that Carsten was my girl. Since I have known her she has always been a positive light and just a great person. I had no doubt she would capture the most amazing and memorable photos of my special day, which she did. She was very open to my suggestions of the type of photos I wanted from the day and also showed her professionalism when it came to dealing with the chaos of the day. I have told her several times that she has found her calling with photography and any one would be crazy to not hire her. Just look at all her photos, they’re incredible! Where shall I begin? Carsten was professional, timely, responsive, friendly, etc etc etc. She was always there to answer questions and help a anxiety ridden bride out when she thought of a last minute detail. Throughout the night, while we danced away she snapped endless photos and we didn't even know she was there! Thank you for making our day special and capturing all the details!

It was an absolute joy to have Carsten photograph my wedding. She was accessible and helpful in the planning and on the day of she and her second photographer were busy getting shots of details and getting ready long before the wedding even started and stayed to take gorgeous sendoff pictures at the end of the night. She's professional but fun so posing for a million photos was so much more enjoyable than my husband had anticipated. Carsten knew the best timing to take perfect sunset pictures and was able to capture all the little moments of our big day in amazing detail. I HIGHLY recommend her!

As a bride who also works in the wedding industry, I had an interesting time trying to find the perfect photographer. We had found Carsten through one of my bridesmaids whose wedding Carsten had photographed. We loved that we were able to get a first hand account of what it was like to work with her and we just loved the photos she took of my bridesmaid’s wedding. When we reached out to her, Carsten was so friendly and easy to talk to! She was also straight forward and clear about what services she could do as our photographer and what we could expect from the different collections se had at the time. As a bride being photographed by Carsten, it was so much fun! My fiancee (then, now husband) and I took our engagement photos with her and not only were the photos so beautiful, we also had a blast hanging out and finding beautiful places to be backdrops. Even though my husband normally hates taking photos, Carsten was able to get us to not think about it and was able to capture some of the most beautiful and heartfelt moments of us. And another great part was, the photos reflected who we are- it wasn’t a ‘cookie cutter’ pose or anything like that. She was able to all of the little moments, and years of our relationship through her lens and that was a blessing for us. We just received our wedding photos and cried the whole time looking through them! We can’t stop going through them- we love every detail that she captured. There were so many beautiful moments with friends and family that she and her assistant perfectly captured and I highly recommend her!

Carsten Tice was a fantastic photographer! We did engagement and wedding pictures through her. We loved working with her! During our engagement shoot she was intuitive and flexible with shots and allowed us to feel very comfortable posing with her. On the wedding day – she was GREAT! She was on time, easy to work with, and got great pictures. She seemed to be everywhere and no where – in the best way. Our pictures turned out fantastic! Specifically, she did a great job handling our large family pictures. Her joy was a pleasure to be around and her professionalism was much appreciated. Carsten Tice came highly recommended as a photographer for our engagement pictures, and she didn't disappoint! When we started planning via email, she really made an effort to get to know me and what I was looking for. Being new to the area I didn't have much of a starting point with locations, but she gave me plenty of options that matched my style! I eventually chose James Dilley Preserve near Laguna Beach - one of Carsten's recommendations - which was absolutely beautiful and perfect for any occasion! When we got to the preserve, Carsten treated us like old friends right off the bat. It was so great to work with someone who made us feel so comfortable and helped us relax a bit... A quality I didn't realize was so important in a photographer until we got to the main event. She took her time with us and ensured we got a variety of places/poses in the shoot. The pictures came out beautiful - And the turnaround was super fast. She even threw in some free print credits! All in all, Carsten Tice is an amazing, sweet, and talented artist who can truly capture the emotion in each moment.

Carsten was just amazing! I found her website and instantly fell in love with her style and the way she captures light and the focus of the picture so beautifully. My husband and I are so pleased to have had Carsten photograph our wedding. We love the quality of the photos we received and were so impressed with Carsten's speed in getting us the photos! Accessing the photos through her online gallery is GREAT! Makes everything so easy and organized. She has simplified a lot of the process successfully which we appreciated (wedding planning is hard!). We immediately fell in love with Carsten Tice's work when perusing her website. When we met her for the engagement session, we didn't know what to expect, in fact my husband was actually a bit nervous. But something about Carsten's personality and professionalism, we felt very comfortable and ended up having a blast. Our engagement photos were stunning.Carsten has a gift for capturing moments in a candid manner and for producing natural and artistic photos. On our wedding day, Carsten Tice was able to capture every moment of our requests and more! The photos were high quality; the guests were also pleased with our wedding photos. We made a photobook and had a difficult time selecting our favorites (all were great)! Carsten Tice Photography is a gem. Carsten customizes to client's personal preferences and needs while preserving her unique style.
