She married her best friend in the summer of 2024 and recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Design at The Ohio State University, specializing in Visual Communication Design. A talented photographer, Carter will capture each special day through inspired and thoughtful imagery.
Carter has a love for people and capturing authentic moments shared between loved ones. While it's her ultimate goal to establish a connection through each and every one of her couples, she strives to create a unique experience for everyone. Through her work in Carter Teal Photography, Carter applies her skill and keen eye to capture fleeting moments as powerful keepsake pictures. She hyped me and my bridesmaids up so much while we were taking pictures and made us all feel so special. She also seamlessly organized a very large 30 person group photo which was so impressive. I’ll also give her second shooter, Rae a special shout out. The two of them worked so so well together, they make a really great team.
Carter and Rae got every shot we planned and then some. Carter truly captured the energy, the love, and the happiness of the entire day. All of our photos turned out so amazing. I am having such a hard time figuring out which ones to print. I was also so impressed by how quickly she was able to deliver not just our sneak peaks, but our entire portfolio. Carter’s passion not just for photography but for capturing her clients’ most special moments shines through in her work. I will cherish our photos forever and I am so glad we booked Carter for our wedding!

photographer. Our energy and values felt very aligned and it made the decision easy to go with her. Literally never worried once from the moment we booked her to the day of the wedding because I knew she was going to kill it and she totally delivered.
Leading up to the wedding, she was able to give me feedback on our day-of timeline, and we went back and forth several times to make sure we had allotted the appropriate amount of time for the different parts of the day.
The day of the wedding she played a huge role in helping things go smoothly. Her attitude and demeanor made everyone feel so comfortable. Her presence was just so supportive, and nothing felt forced. She was really centered my husband and I's experience and made sure the day went exactly how WE wanted. Our wedding day was quite hot, and she worked with us to do some photos inside and some outside. No matter the setting or lighting, the photos turned out beautiful which really shows how talented she is. Our photos turned out beautifully, and captured the classic and timeless look we were going for :)

never really like what we see in photos. During our engagement session she helped pose us and made us feel at home in front of the camera. Once we got the engagement photos back I knew we would be set for the wedding. We both loved how we looked and everything felt so natural. Prior to the wedding Carter worked with the wedding planner to make sure we had a solid timeline. She worked great with all vendors! The vendors, family members, bridal party, and guests constantly commented on how kind and efficient she was. Come wedding day she was the absolute best hype man! She listened to what we wanted and was easy going as well. We got pretty much every photo we wanted done before cocktail hour so we could mingle with our guests. We had many non-traditional aspects to our wedding (queer, handfasting, pinata, guests wearing Halloween costumes, disabled bride) and she was so down with everything.
