Getting married in the Fredericksburg area, we wanted to do a little bit of a German flare, and they suggested a pretzel station where they hung little German pretzels with mustard, sausages, etc. - it turned out SO cute! We had multiple people mention how good the food was- which is not very common these days with wedding catering. If you're looking for a creative, collaborative, and TALENTED catering company to host your wedding or event, absolutely go with the Cartewheels team! You won't be disappointed.

e FOOD! However, our theme was an Asian/rustic fusion and it was very difficult to find someone who could execute a menu to satisfy our needs - especially because my husband and I were foodies! We looked everywhere! Well, after working with Emily, we were in disbelief! She took our ideas and suggestions and created a menu that our guests continue to rave about to this day! I have gone to many weddings where the food was sub-par and it was enough to make a negative impression. But with Emily and Cartewheels Catering, the food at our wedding was a memory of a lifetime! We had chili glazed pork chops and a FRIED RICE STATION. They served the rice, freshly made for the guests, in little take out boxes and our guests were so impressed. The hors d'oeuvres included ahi tuna, pot stickers served on the cutest little china spoons, and asian glazed meatballs. I mean, the food was a HIT! It really tied together our vision for an Asian fusion wedding and we could not have made a better choice. Emily was flexible and and accommodating when it came to planning our dream menu. We could not have asked for more!

ow we wanted the meals to be structured. We ended up doing buffet stations around the room, and she knew exactly what to serve and worked with our coordinator to ensure that their displays went with our decor. It was beautiful and the food was completely amazing.
Catering was the only thing that my husband cared about other than the bar, and he was blown away by how incredible it was. In the few weeks since our wedding, we have had multiple guests comment on how good the food was at our wedding. More than one has said that it is the best they've ever had at a wedding. We have gotten more compliments on this than almost anything else.

created a unique menu for us that not only accommodated our dietary restrictions but consisted of a wide range of foods we love to eat like shrimp & grits, pad thai, etc. Everything was fresh and properly served hot/cold. Definitely GREAT quality for the price. We go so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was. They even brought beautiful decor to make an overall beautiful presentation of the food. The serving staff and bartenders were efficient, professional, and nice. They also made sure my husband and I were able to try everything including the hors d'oeuvres served during our cocktail hour, the owner herself brought them to us and made sure we had drinks and checked on us occasionally to see if we needed anything. They also sent us home with some leftover food and cake to eat after the wedding that night. I could go on and on, but thank you so much for providing INCREDIBLE food AND service at our wedding!
