Carvel Ice Cream of Syosset

My son really wanted a Carvel cake at his wedding and we thought it was impossible until finding Carvel of Syosset. Jared was so helpful and went beyond expectations to accommodate the venue which lacked a freezer. He managed to deliver the sheet cake at exactly the right time to be served alongside the couple's traditional wedding cake. Everyone loved it!

A highlight from our wedding day! We hired Jared to make 120 mini wedding ice cream cakes and they were an absolute hit with our guests! We were able to choose the flavors that we wanted the ice cream to be (we chose to have half of the cakes be vanilla and half be chocolate) and the color of the flowers on the cakes. He also let us use a monogram design that we had on our invitations on the top of the cake! Delivery was also easy and not something we had to worry about, as Jared drove the cakes on dry ice to our wedding reception venue in Connecticut the morning of. The catering staff was able to store the cakes. It was truly a childhood dream come true to have ice cream cake as our wedding cake and something our guests surely will not forget! We highly recommend working with Jared!

I worked with Jared to purchase a Carvel Yankees groom cake for our rehearsal dinner. Jared was so kind and easy to work with. We texted, had a quick call and Jared helped me to decide exactly what I wanted. Easy as that - Jared then coordinated with the restaurant hosting our dinner and dropped it right off. I knew Jared had it under control and I didn’t think twice. I knew that it was going to be perfect, Yankee decked out and delicious - and it was. Call Jared!!!!! He is terrific and very talented.

Jared was awesome. We initially had to postpone our wedding at the last minute and he was easy to contact and very understanding. We were able to secure him for the new date with no issues. The cake was exactly what we wanted and people raved that we were actually able to get a Carvel cake for our wedding. It was a huge hit and the cake was delicious. I would highly recommend!

She went to Jared! Jared at Carvel in Syosset is awesome. He made us a Fudgie the Whale wedding cake and it was a huge hit. Delicious, as always, but also impressive. The bottom two layers were made of styrofoam -- but you couldn't tell! We loved it so much and will definitely be calling him again!

Jared is the absolute best!!! He made both our engagement party cake and our intimate wedding cake. My husband & I always said our wedding cake would be ice cream- and Jared made that dream come true!!! Not only did both cakes taste delicious, I showed him photos of what I was thinking and he made my visions come to life even better than I had imagined!!! Jared was amazing to work with. Unfortunately, my husband and I only got tastes of our cake (it was unreal) during the wedding because we were so busy and everyone ate the cake!! They LOVED it. I might order a cake from him for no reason at this point 😂. But he made the cake look awesome and he was really understanding that we had to change our date so many times due to COVID. Just wanted to shout out Carvel Ice Cream of Syosset for the delicious mini individual ice cream cakes that were made for my engagement party yesterday. So unique, different and a hit. I am not getting married on LI or else they would’ve been at the wedding. We did vanilla or chocolate cakes and both had crunchies and I was able to pick what color roses to add 🎂 These are exclusive to Carvel Syosset, and Jared is a pleasure to work with.

My husband and I had always dreamt of having an ice cream cake at our wedding and we didn't even know that was a possibility until we found Jared! He was able to create a beautiful 3-tier cake, it had the look of a traditional wedding cake while being 100x more delicious! Jared was also an absolute pleasure to work with, we couldn't be happier with our decision to order from him!

I have so much to say but I will try to cut to the point. AMAZING!!! Unique, gorgeous, a lot packed into a little cake!!!! truly something special to see the faces of guests light up like little kids at a BBQ getting CARVEL ICE CREAM cake and one completely their own!!! we attempted to use Jared for our 10.10.2020 wedding however pandemic issues came about and things went sideways. we just used him for our grandmothers 91st birthday celebration and I cannot say enough. she loves carvel everything for any holiday or birthday gathering in our family - to give her her very own mini carvel ice cream she was beyond surprised, thrilled, intrigued and enjoyed every bite plus an extra that went home with her. we will be using jared again for this amazing product and his service and communication is top notch. truly someone who takes pride and love in his craft. thank you jared for everything.

Wedding planning is definitely not ideal during a pandemic. We decided to just have our ceremony and postpone our reception. We wanted to still get a cake to celebrate our marriage. We couldn’t be happier we came across carvel of Syosset. What’s better then getting carvel as a special treat? Getting a carvel wedding cake !! We were blown away with how beautiful the cake was and the price was very reasonable ! ! People were amazed that is was from carvel ! We had a 3 tier cake with pearl spray coloring. It was absolutely beautiful and we got to choose what flavors we wanted. We went with chocolate and chocolate chip cookie dough, everyone loved it ! It has been the best wedding cake we have ever had, my husband and I both don’t like regular cake so this was perfect. My favorite part is for every anniversary we can go and get a small cake with those flavors in it, or just get them in a cup and remember our beautiful wedding day ! Jared was so great to work with ! He answered all my questions and even made sure we successfully transported the cake with no problems. We will definitely use them again for any other special cakes we may need in the future.

So happy we decided to do mini carvel cakes for each of our guest. It made such a statement our guest were blown away! They are still talking about it 2 weeks later!

We ordered 9 mini ice cream wedding cakes for our mini-ceremony, and they were a HUGE hit. Our families can't stop talking about them! Not only were the cakes absolutely adorable, they were also delicious and surprisingly affordable. We had our wedding in the city on October 26. We had heard about Jared at Carvel Ice Cream in Syosset and his fabulous mini wedding cakes. After several conversations with Jared we ordered 80 beautifully decorated mini ice cream wedding cakes for our guests. They were the hit of the reception not only because it was such a special surprise treat but because they were gorgeous and delicious. Jared was easy to work with and he delivered them into the city without hesitation. We would highly recommend Jared and Carvel of Syosset.

We cannot thank Jared (?) enough for creating the most beautiful wedding cake...all made of ice cream! Due to not being able to visit him in person, we did all of our "meetings" via email and phone. All we did was provide ideas of style of cake and he recreated it to our liking! We were so surprised with how it resembled a real wedding cake and so were our guests!! It was a hit and couldn't have been more happy with the final product!

My fiancé and I used Carvel for our engagement party cake. We loved it and so did our guests. We got so many compliments on the cake. People were shocked to find out it was ice cream! They couldn’t believe it was ice cream. Jared was amazing to work with. He took the time to get to know what we liked as well as what our party theme was. Also I loved cookie dough. Jared surprised me with extra cookie dough in our cake! The whole experience from talking to Jared about the cake, coming down to the store and taste testing to the actual cake itself was a wonderful experience. We loved it. Thank you again!

Carvel ice cream cake was perfect for our wedding! We did 3 sheet cakes (for 150 guests) and just cut one of the sheet cakes for the ceremonial cake cutting. Our guests LOVED the cake and several asked for seconds! Jared was very easy to work with and delivered our cake right on schedule. The cake was delivered straight to our venue and he communicated the drop off to me as well. Highly recommend!!

We used mini carvel wedding cakes for one of our deserts and EVERYONE loved it! The cakes were perfect! All our guests has been raving about them. (And my husband was still eating them the next day!) Jared was a pleasure to work with, he made the process so easy. He had many different options for decorating and even printed a personal monogram on the top of the cake! Definitely adds a special touch to the wedding and who doesn’t love carvel ice cream!

My husbands dream was answered when we met Jared at Carvel of Syosset! He had envisioned an ice cream cake for our wedding and when we heard through a friend that Jared could make this possible we were ecstatic! It was wonderful! I hate regular cake--I love ice cream cake! This was a no brainer! We got the fake kind on the bottom with real cake on the top so we could cut it for the pictures, and sheet cake in the back to cut and serve. Jared was very easy to work with. Zero issues at all and the price wasn't bad! I'm so glad we went here!!! Honestly a dream come true to have ice cream cake instead of regular cake!

My guests are still talking about our cake. Jared and his team were amazing. Guests that never actually ate the cake actually did in fact eat the carvel ice cream cake. Our daughter got married this weekend. In planning the wedding, we wanted her feedback on wedding cakes. She reminded us of how much she dislikes traditional cakes for any occasion, and she just couldn't understand why she couldn't have her old faithful favorite "carvel cake" for her special day. Our thoughts were to get a carvel cake for every table; but we stumbled on one of carvel of syosset's pictures of their incredible individual-miniature ice cream wedding cakes. It's a two-tiered replica of a wedding cake. We designed ours with flowers on side, and even put cupcake topper "M" in gold on top to match the big wedding cake. Jared was amazing in giving us ideas of what we could have, and even offered to make a matching dummy cake. He was so accommodating. The cakes arrived days earlier, and were packaged in individual boxes. Not one was destroyed. Our venue put the toppers on and served as the bride and groom's surprise signature dessert. It was apropos as the only cake my kids ever requested for any occasion was the traditional carvel cake. I recommend Jared and the carvel ice cream of Syosset, as this is a great wow factor, and an idea people will truly remember.

Choosing a Carvel wedding cake was one of the best decisions we made. Jared at Carvel was so easy to work with and was so easy to communicate with throughout our planning process. He was receptive to our ideas and made sure the cake looked exactly how we pictured. We found out after our event, that the on-site freezer didn’t work and luckily Jared recognized this upon delivery. He brought the cake back to his shop and delivered it again right in time for our cake cutting...amazing! We were completely unaware of this on the day of the wedding and were so pleased to hear about the effort Jared put in to ensure our cake was perfect. Beautiful cake that we’ll never forget! Jared at Carvel was beyond amazing to work with! They made individual carvel cakes for each guest - in classic vanilla and chocolate with the crunchies of course!!! I think we got as many compliments on our cakes as we did on our band (45 Riots who rocked)!!!!! I never pay attention much to dessert at weddings but this was by far the most memorable and I can’t believe how many people called me to ask how I got them!! Thank you Jared!!!!

Finding out we could have a carvel wedding cake was like a dream come true! Not only was our cake beautiful, 4 tiers (3 fake, 1 real) with two sheet cakes, it was also DELICIOUS. You couldn't tell from looking that it was an ice cream cake because it was decorated with a gold trim and flowers just as any wedding cake should look. Jared was extremely helpful from the first email and walked us through all of the options when it came time to pick a design. Carvel cakes have always marked important moments in our relationship and, while we wanted to have a Carvel cake on our wedding day, we didn't know that it could be a reality. I had always wanted to have an Ice Cream Cake for my wedding day. I had said it to every one of my cousins as they would get married. I'm happy to say for my wedding we got an Ice Cream Cake, and I couldn't imagine going to anywhere besides Carvel. The cake came out awesome, it looked exactly how we described it and had several people tell us they went up for seconds. We did each tier a different flavor, top was Salted Carmel with crumbled pretzels, followed by Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, then Mint Chocolate Chip and on the bottom the traditional Vanilla & Chocolate with Crunchies in the middle. Jared was great to work with and very flexible with the design we wanted to do. He delivered the cake to the venue a few days before. We were incredibly happy with our decision to use Carvel for our wedding cake and not only recommend but insist you do it as well, you won't regret it!

Jared created the most amazing Yankees Groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner since my husband's only likes Carvel cakes. Our guests were so impressed and couldn't believe Carvel made such detailed and beautiful cakes, but Jared worked his magic. It came out exactly like the photos I showed him and tasted delicuous! His customer service and attention to detail made him a pleasure to work with and he went above and beyond to make sure the cake was delivered promptly and safely. From start to finish Jared and his staff took care of us. We made personal ice cream cakes that looked like a 3 tier wedding cake. They were a huge hit at the wedding, we got so many compliments on them. If you love ice cream and you are looking for a unique dessert option look no further!

If you are like my husband and I who grew up having carvel cakes every birthday, THIS CAKE IS FOR YOU! We were so excited to find Carvel of Syosset and we worked closely with Jared to perfect our 5-tier Carvel Wedding cake, which was the hit of the event. Family was looking forward to it for month. My husband says the only thing he misses about wedding planning is our trips to see Jared. He makes jokes about missing Jared. The cake was beautiful. Jared was easy to reach, receptive to our requests and there were no issues at all with delivery or anything like that. It was the probably the best and most easy part about the whole wedding process. I would recommend to anyone and everyone who is thinking about having an ice cream cake for their wedding. His creations are beautiful. I wish I could post a picture of our awesome cake.

My, now husband, has a love of Carvel ice cream cake. For our wedding, his one request was to have one during the night. I decided to have several for our viennese hour, because who doesn't love ice cream cake. The cakes were the hit . They were so fresh, pretty and perfect. I wish I had a video of my husband running to see them and his reaction. Jared at Syosset Carvel was amazing to work with. From the moment I walked in to get a quote and see if it was possible, he was beyond helpful. He was really excited when I said they were for our wedding. We went for traditional vanilla and chocolate, but Jared was open to making us whatever we wanted. Everything was delivered on time to the catering hall and exactly how we wanted them. I was so happy with my experience. I would recommend them to anyone and will continue to be a customer for a treat in the summer.

We were lucky enough to find Jared at Carvel Syosset through The Knot. He created 100 of the most beautiful miniature ice cream wedding cakes for our wedding this past Saturday. Our guests could not stop talking about how unique and adorable they were (not to mention delicious!). Syosset Carvel makes individual, mini wedding ice cream cakes! I had seen these at another wedding and absolutely had to have them for my own. We had them displayed during dessert on a tiered, round cake stand in the shape of a wedding cake. At the other wedding they were plated at the dinner tables but either way every person still got their own. They were each dipped in a white chocolate coating for that smooth, white, wedding cake look. We worked with Jared at Carvel and were able to customize the cakes as he decorates them however you want. We used silver and gold sugar flowers and piped on trim to match our wedding colors. People are still talking about these cakes from our wedding, even grown men who never notice a thing about weddings! They were delicious and unique and I think really added an extra special touch. A definite "wow" factor. Jared was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend his services!

I have always been a big fan of ice cream cake, and my husband loves ice cream, so we decided to do an ice cream wedding cake for our wedding. It was a huge hit! I didn't even know a traditional looking wedding cake could be made from Carvel. No - it is not Fudgey the Whale (to the disappointment of my husband) but a multi tier, beautifully decorated wedding cake which we put a cake topper on and did a cake cutting ceremony with. Working with Jared was a fantastic experience from the very first phone call until the end. We had a meeting to go over the shape selection of the cake and the colors and decorations on it. He has been doing wedding and celebration cakes for years and takes these creations as seriously as any other vendor I worked with for my wedding. The delivery to my venue was seamless and the cake was fantastic. My guests went crazy over this cake!

We had a very elegant Saturday night barbecue wedding at my now-husband's country club. We both love Carvel birthday cakes and so were thrilled to see a sign in our local store advising that they also make wedding cakes! The shop offers all sorts of choices, from the look of the cake itself to the flavors of the ice cream. Some of the cakes were very beautiful and you would never suspect that they were from Carvel, but we wanted our cake to be very "Carvelly". We stuck with the vanilla and chocolate ice cream and chocolate crunchies (with extra crunchies for the tables) and the style of their regular cakes (you know, the white icing with the lines in it), only tiered and with some pretty hard-sugar roses to dress it up a bit. In the spirit of Carvel, we even opted to pass on a cake topper and just had them write on the cake with the red gel. It looked amazing, tasted great, and our guests are still talking about our wedding cake - you certainly don't see one every day! Shawn was a pleasure to work with and I cannot recommend the shop highly enough.

Our venue at the Brooklyn Winery was a beautiful space. The bride and groom didn't want the traditional large wedding cake. Jared the owner of the carvel was so helpful in designing the two tiered cakes. We had small mint leaves and berries to add some color to the vanilla and chocolate cakes. The cakes looked great and the guests loved them. Jared was very accommodating in delivering to Williamsburg, Brooklyn too.
