Casa Palma Palm Springs

we felt so relaxed. We took advantage of all the activities on site (the heated pool, the games, the hot tub, the fire pit, the gym, the pool table, the free bikes, tennis, etc!). There was always something to do and we especially loved riding the bikes around Movie Colony in the morning. We stayed while it was very quiet at the hotel (not sure if the summer is busier) and at times it felt like the whole hotel was our house, it was amazing! We had food for lunch one day from the hotel bar and it was 10/10. We wanted to eat lunch there every day but unfortunately the restaurant is only open on the weekends. The location is good if you want to be in a quieter area, but you will have to drive or uber to get to the middle of downtown. Our only suggestion was for black out curtains in the room, as it was quite bright in the mornings. Other than that we will be back!

e grounds are impeccable, the pools and hot tub are clean, pool was warm which was nice because it was quite chilly out most days. We played tennis and went for bike rides. Honestly, Palm Springs was kind of ‘meh’ this time around, the restaurants weren’t great and it was very crowded everywhere. We had the best time just staying at the hotel! The food is amazing, better than any restaurant we went to- by far. The rooms are comfortable and clean. They did an amazing job redoing the hotel, and we look forward to going back!

s well appointed however, and it could use a really thorough cleaning. Our only complaint is that the bed was too soft. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

of options for $12, and everything we tried was delicious. Unfortunately, the experience changes once you step into the room, mainly due to the bedding. The pillows are extremely firm, overfilled memory foam that are uncomfortable for sleeping and really only work for propping yourself up. The sheets and pillowcases appear to be 100% polyester, which feels unpleasant against the skin, doesn’t breathe, and shifts during the night—I repeatedly woke up lying directly on the mattress cover. On top of that, there is a foam mattress pad that creates an overly soft, sinking feeling. If you enjoy a very soft bed, this may work for you, but it was not comfortable for us. Upgrading the bedding to percale or at least cotton would make a huge difference and significantly elevate the guest experience. Adding robes would also be a thoughtful touch. Sometimes it’s the small details that have the biggest impact, and improving the bedding would bring this place much closer to excellence.
