ce JULY, multiple times. Based on our conversations, we were repeatedly left with the impression that a rain contingency would be handled and that we did not need to worry. Then, just FOUR DAYS before our wedding, we were told that the cost and logistics of the rain plan would be our responsibility—including potentially spending thousands more on a tent. For days, we asked and practically begged for a clear plan. Andreina continued telling me to wait until the morning of my wedding to make a decision, despite having guests, vendors, florals, rentals, and an entire wedding depending on that decision. During an approximately 30-minute phone call, Sherry yelled at me, threatened to involve a lawyer, and told me she would “ruin my day.” She referenced recently hosting Marc Anthony, told me I was “just another bride,” and said she didn’t need another “broke bride begging for her money back.” After paying this venue $5,500, I was appalled. We ultimately moved our entire wedding at the last minute. I later sent a formal letter asking for a fair resolution, which was received and has gone unanswered. The property may be beautiful, but no bride should have to beg for a rain contingency days before her wedding or be treated with this level of disrespect during what should be one of the happiest weeks of her life.
